Reviews for Hotel Residence National Park

Review 1:Long waits for the busconnections either to bormio or livigno.

Review 2:The provision of a cooking top for making our own cuppa at night time and the great choice of food at the buffet breakfast.

Review 3:Nothing has been renewed since it was built, probably late 70s... and it is very evident... even a new coat of paint would help. Rooms were very dark... no adequate lighting. Kitchenettes do not work, maybe just turned off.... Doors stuck or didn't close well..

Review 4:Location was good for where I wanted to be... quite a wide breakfast selection, though no fresh fruit. Staff was friendly, though very young, and tried to please. Everything was clean...

Review 5:Old furniture, old equipment. Too late accommodation. Not friendly staff, not everyone speak English. Less quality reveived then money paid.

Review 6:Wifi in the lobby only

Review 7:The hotel is out of date and out-fashion, needs restoration. During breakfast food choice is very miserable - one kind of salty sausage, cheese and several kinds of corn flakes and crackers with milk or yogurt, also some kinds of jam, juice and fruits. No toaster available in restaurant (they have an old microwave oven instead). Only bottled beer in the bar. The kitchen dishes (plates, cups, glasses, forks..) were locked in the catchall in our room. Cleaning, towel change is available once in 3 days period. Heard no info about Sauna or bath. The town is quite boring comparing to Bormio or Livigno. It is not about the hotel, but if your point of travel is skiing - skiing slopes are quite boring, too short and poky for advanced riders and maybe too narrow for beginners. But good news for beginners is that there are not much people skiing here, especially on weekdays so the slopes are smooth, without pits and no hollows even at the late hours, not as in skiing resorts with high traffic!

Review 8:It was the cheapest hotel in area, so if you are looking just for the roof above your head - it is a good choice! Suitable place for economic stay for student groups. Family rooms, having one double bed and one couch. Availability to cook your own food inside the room (during our stay the dishes were locked:). Balconies available in almost all rooms. The staff is quite friendly (they do not seem to work with passion, but doing OK as in 3 stars hotel), especially a young girl named Sarah. She is cute and nice! 5-7 min on foot to center (very small town, few snack bars and 2 food stores closing in early hours), 12-15 min on foot to skiing slopes. Nice mountain river nearby, enjoyed watching trouts and other fish there... Tasty coffee in restaurant (they prepare it for you according to your wishes - espresso, with milk, latte... and serve to your table ;)
