Reviews for B&B Albachiara

Review 1:the fridge encased in another piece of furniture creates a lot of warmth. No secure parking.

Review 2:well located for the greek temples, possibility of having lunch/dinner at reasonable prices

Review 3:They have to speak a little more English. Check in time different than the reservation

Review 4:In front of the beach. Just renovated with modern style. You can order your breakfast. Perfect for enjoy beach time and going also to Vallei of Templi

Review 5:Not very comfortable bed - it consists of two spoiled mattresses. The balcony door went directly to the stairs, so we have no balcony, actually. The staff don't speak English.

Review 6:Very close to the sea, the beach has Wi-Fi. Cheap and tasty food in the restaurant at the hotel.

Review 7:The staff is not very good in English. The room is small enough.

Review 8:The hotel is very close to the sea. The valley of temples is not very far from it. Good breakfasts.

Review 9:May be not enough quiet

Review 10:Modern hotel, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms with very good facilities and balcony. Good location in 50 meters from sandy beach

Review 11:Everything inside is new and of very good quality. The staff is very nice and welcoming. We needed a pharmacy, so the uncle of the owner came with us and showed the way. The beach is over the road and you can rent sun beds and umbrellas from the B&B. The Valley of the Temples is 10 min drive. They propose private tours and I think they worth it although we couldn't take one ourselves.

Review 12:The fact they they tried to sell personal tours and that the breakfast varied from guest to guest.

Review 13:Don't let the bar in the front put you off. The rooms are nice.

Review 14:A bit noisy.

Review 15:Really friendly staff (don't really speak English), nice food (homemade typical sicilian food), clean room, close to the beach and to the Temples of Agrigento.

Review 16:Very nice and helpful personal, we enjoyed the stay. The B&B is a little bit off the center, but we got help from staff to get back & forth to good restaurant etc.

Review 17:The rooms were up-to-date, comfortable and secure. The location, just across the street from a lovely beach but away from the noise and congestion of other accommodations closer to town, was perfect for us. Easy access to the Valley of the Temples, our primary object. We were served two excellent meals cooked for us on-site (in addition to a good breakfast, included in the cost). A very good value.

Review 18:Breakfast needs more offerings (piece of fruit, or yoghurt, and fruit juice at least) in addition to the one croissant and coffee. Hit legs on corner of bed as the wooden bed base juts out further than mattress and is hidden under the bedspread. Just lift the bedspread so you can always see the bed corner. Needed an extra blanket as we don't sleep with an air conditioner on.

Review 19:Location is great - an easy 10 minute drive from the Valley of the Temples. No direct view of beach but the access to a beautiful beach with expansive white sand is just 20 metres away on the opposite side of the road. Two staff members helped us with our luggage up one flight of stairs to the room. Newly and very tastefully renovated rooms. I especially liked the silver rose on white tiles and plum colour scheme in the bathroom. Big shower receptacle - big enough for two - and modern overhead shower head plus an extra smaller shower head on wall with strong pressure and lasting hot water. One more practical shelf in bathroom for placing toiletries bags would be welcome and a shelf is needed in shower for soaps etc. Air conditioner shuts off/is disabled if the doors are open which is a good idea. Additional small light over the other mirror near the desk would also be welcome as this is the mirror that women would use to do their make-up if the partner is in the bathroom. Breakfast croissants - choice of chocolate or cream-filled, was fresh and delicious!

Review 20:Owners do not speak English. Far from city center.

Review 21:Very nice and new room. Parking for free in front of the building. Beach is very closed but city center is quite far.

Review 22:You will probably need a car to get around and see the sights, not a problem if you have one as we did as everything is easily drivable (~20 mins to Scala dei turchi, agrigento ruins, punta biancha) but we didn't see many buses around San Leone

Review 23:The staff were very friendly and helpful and although not much English is spoken in this part of Sicily we felt very welcome. Highly recommended if you want to see a less touristy part of Sicily. Watch out for mama's bruschetta, delicious!

Review 24:Personnel, with the exception of the owner (which is not alwaysavailable) is lousy: always in a bad mood, it seems that you disturbthem even if you want to pay Breakfast is clearly not good - the qualityis ok, but the quantity and variety that you would expect for the pricejust doesn't match.

Review 25:Vicinity to the beach New forniture New fixings

Review 26:Design kamer en badkamer

Review 27:Perfect location, decent accomodationб friendly stuff for reasonable money

Review 28:friendly staff, clean room,
