Reviews for Atlantic Agdal

Review 1:There were many things that did not level up to a 4 stars hotel: -thebaththub was dirty and had hair in it when I got there -they had onesingle iron and iron board for the entire hotel. We were there for abusiness meeting and many attendees had to go to the meeting with awrinkled suit -No hairdryer in the rooms, no slippers, nocomplementary water- The locker for valuables did not work, they said they will fix but they never did -the cleaning lady did not fully lock my room when she finished cleaning it, I happened to stop by at lunch and found the door open. Given that the locker did not work, my valuables were accessible to anyone -I ordered pizza for room service, the price I was given changed 3 times between the time I ordered and the time it was delivered. The pizza was awful and overpriced. I was overall disappointed, I travel a lot, including in remote areas in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia so I have dealt with the whole spectrum of hotels, but by Moroccan standards, this hotel, although functional, did not seem professionally run.

Review 2:The staff (at the front desk, breakfast and room service) was cordialand pleasant. The location is great, next to a main avenue in Agdal, notfar from restaurants, cafes, shopping for clothes or patisseries andmost importantly close to my meeting venue. The price is reasonable, thebreakfast was very good, with macaroons and Moroccan options. The bedwas very comfortable and the room was quite.

Review 3:Unfriendly staff, they are always have frown face. Specially Badr in the reception, I don't think he is a suitable staff for customer service job, we don't want nothing but a friendly and a smiling person, he didn't make me and either my wife feel comfort. I also asked him for a quite room not facing the main road, and despite of the availability of the requested room he gave us instead a noisy room its window faces the main street. When I asked him the next day about that, he simply said next time will give you the room. Actually there is no next time Badr.

Review 4:The location only is the good thing about this hotel.

Review 5:One of the morning waitresses, for 10 days! never smiled to us and on the last day turn off the lights of our breakfast room before we were finished. He was rude! But this was a minor detail since everyone else was fantastic. When we told management about this, they address the issue promptly. We stayed 10 days, and we have the same breakfast everyday, it would of be nice to have more variety, although it was delicious.

Review 6:I love the quietness of the place, the access to a massage/spa service right next to the hotel. The location was excellent, close to transport, amenities and good restaurants and caffe's! The restaurant was actually very good, everything seems to be made like "at home". Staff were attentive and helpful,

Review 7:For Rabat, the price seemed expensive, but I guess you're paying for the neighborhood. The bathroom was not entirely clean. My room had a window leading to a rooftop, as did others on the same floor. The room window did not seem to lock, nor did I see a large safe in the room. I did not think my belongings were necessarily very secure. Also, I paid with cash and they did not have change, so they told me they'd bring it to me. They forgot to do so, but gave me no receipt. The next morning when I asked for my change, I had to wait several hours so they could confirm with the man from the night before whether they did in fact owe me anything. They should have charged me less, not more, if they lacked the change. Finally, the breakfast items that should have been kept warm were actually cold. There was also cleaning supplies kept in site on the stairwell.

Review 8:The location was great. The bathroom was huge. The staff was pretty friendly, and did speak enough English. The coffee for the breakfast was surprisingly good.

Review 9:Although I let the hotel now that I'd arrive at midnight, the room wasn't really clean - there was hair in bath tub and dirty pillows. I also asked for a room not on the street but I got one that was on the street. The first morning I woke up at 6 because of the traffic and hooting but then I got used to it (so if you have troubles with sleeping, persuade them to give you room that's not on the street). I was quite surprised to find quite old toilet (the "color" was gone in a lot of spots) and the bath tub didn't look really "new" either. I've already stayed in 4* hotels and they were not only cheaper but also looked really new and modern compared to Atlantic. When booking I was choosing between Sofitel and Atlantic (the location made the decision) but next time I'd probably choose Sofitel.

Review 10:I really liked the location of the hotel - close to the tram stop, calm at night, plenty of good shops nearby. Breakfasts were basically the same every day. They were tasty but I'd prefer to have bigger selection. Great TV and big wardrobe. Good wi-fi but kept going down sometimes.

Review 11:They speak limited English - pick up was arranged but driver could not be found. Called the hotel and the guy did not speak English after which he said yes madam we then have a problem. I had to ask somebody at the airport to call the hotel for us. There was no map available of the city We ordered roomservice and 2 days later, our plate with leftover food was still in the hallway... Next to a busy street, quite loud

Review 12:Location WIFI was OK in the rooms

Review 13:Food was average, breakfast wasn't great. Silly things like no numbers on the room phone or room guide so I didn't know how to call room service (it's 608). No iron and ironing board available, poor wi-fi, etc.

Review 14:Good location. Rooms were comfortable enough and bathroom pleasant. Staff were also friendly and tried to be helpful.

Review 15:they don't let you enter any other family girl either family or friend without prove ,,,they thing I will carry prove with me every were,,,,nonsense I am paying money not free or put sign board at least to be clear

Review 16:the hotel was clean and the staff was nice

Review 17:The rooms did not even have drinking water bottles or an electric kettle. We got there late in the evening - tired and thirsty and no water in the room!! The room was extremely small and the panoramic photos misled us!! The front desk did not even have a map to show us or advise us were to go in the city!! For breakfast, the fried eggs were floating in the oil for the guests.

Review 18:The location of the hotel is great. That is were the positive comment ends.

Review 19:- very small rooms; - if ytou are travelling for business and connecting to internet is a must, don't consider that hotel. I stayed 2 days without having internt working. - Although people were kind, the service was really bad. at 7 AM, nobody in the breakfast room. I had to wait 30mn for the staff to wakeup and prepare breakfast.
