Reviews for Majliss Hotel
Review 1:Inside the hotel very poor and old. The lobby looks terrible and missy. Anyway all area looks old and poor but the management must do something to make it good and clean.
Review 2:The hotel near the train station and city easy to excess anywhere.
Review 3:The rooms are small, humid, a bit smelly. The worse was that the shower cabin was not draining properly. So when taking the shower the whole bathroom floor would flood (!). Quite unpleasant and unhygienic. The hotel is difficult to find by car and GPS we had to circle arround couple of times as the GPS wouldn't pick it up. Breakfast was quite poor and I really didn't enjoy it. Wifi was simply unexciting. Don't even bother.
Review 4:We stayed there only for one night so do not have a lot of experiences. Quite average for its price. The stuff was nice, pleasant and quite helpful. Very joyful as well. One of the boy at the reseption had an amazing English level. The hotel lobby is quite traditional and charming. On the plus side was that there was a car parking just afront of the hotel. That was really, really handy. The surrounding neighbourhood is nice. Walking distance from the center, the medina, old town and pretty much all turistic attractions. Just right next to the central train station. Although, if you are looking for a place to have dinner in the close proximity, you will not succeed. There is no nice and cozy place to dine. The only place we found to be pleasant was Venezia Ice, a good cafe that served food, was located at the train station. The other alternative would be Mc Donald 's, can be found on a 5 min walk from the hotel
Review 5:Air con disconnected, although can be made to work (just on and off) if you take the cover off. Not really acceptable, certainly not in a four star. Buffet restaurant not inspiring (but lots of good places nearby)
Review 6:Perfect location. Steps from the station and easily walkable to all sights (medina, Chellah, Hasan tower etc). First impressions good. Beautiful lobby and nice finishes in room (marble floor etc). Bath. No noise despite overlooking station.
Review 7:Poor/cheap/unhealthy choice of cereals at breakfast to face the day. Some people may find rooms facing train train station a bit noisy, although double glazed in principle
Review 8:Position. Good value for money. Clean and descent. Internet connection comparably and reasonably good. Friendly staff although forgot to fix my broken shower!
Review 9:The staff was most accommodating in arranging for a late arrival. We were attending a wedding and didn't arrive at the hotel til 5am on the night we were staying. The staff arranged to hold breakfast for us until 1pm and a late check out at 3pm. The room was comfortable and clean with fresh sheets and towels, and they had closed the window with dark curtains. The hotel was very quiet and we slept well. Overall a very pleasant experience. I would stay there again.
Review 10:There are some refurbishments and the drill was on for most part of the day. Reception was pushing to call a taxi to bring me to the airport, if they do it the cost of the taxi trip will be increased by 50 to70 dirhams. Kitchen was not available due to Ramadan (that is acceptable) but they need to inform the guests. Also very low amount of hotel guest. WIFI connection is very poor.
Review 11:Hotel very close to railway station. Reception team helpfull. Rooms clean, dont forget to close the windows at night for the mosquitos. Cleaning ladies open them.
Review 12:Quite expensive compared to other hotels in the same area. The offer of a mini bar in the room is false. All I got was a bottle of water! And on top of that the small fridge didnt even work properly and neither did the climate control function in the room.
Review 13:The bed and sofa was nice and comfortable. The location of hotel was good as its right in the centre.
Review 14:What frustrated me is the fact that the AC in our room is not working.
Review 15:The room where we stayed is tidy particularly the toilet and bath. I also enjoyed the breakfast menu and the staff are all friendly.
Review 16:Location is just behind the train station so you hear the noises of the train every hour or so, but honestly that didn't wake me up while I was sleeping, the glass if the wijwindow is double and very thick, good job
Review 17:The room was very clean, very nice and comfortable,
Review 18:My wifi didn't work very well though.
Review 19:All of the staff were extremely friendly and I absolutely loved my room. The bathroom was gorgeous and spacious.

Review 58:breakfast location
Review 59:Air condition did not work.
Review 60:Good breakfast. Clean room.
Review 61:The hotel is well located, right next to the Rabat Ville train station. It is in a safe area with some of the attractions to visit near the door.
Review 62:cab driver that hotel assigned to us overcharged us. town of sale (pottery market) is only a 15-minute drive away. but 400 dh for 2 people was steep. finally, at the end, we bargained for 300, which he accepted.
Review 63:I was here only for 2 days (1 night), coming from Casablanca. located @ back of rabat ville train station (an hour away from casa voyageur). quiet area. excellent breakfast, wide variety. friendly, English-speaking staff that suggested important landmarks to visit, e.g. tur Hassan & mausoleum as well as challah.
Review 64:It was too close to the railway station !! Trains rumbled extremely noisily all night long ....... And the price was a bit expensive
Review 65:It was close to the railway station - we booked this hotel because we had an evening arrival from the airport and the bus stops at the railway station, and the next morning we were taking the train to Tangier. And the breakfast was superb
Review 66:Superb location both for everything downtown, the medina and the train station. Gorgeous lobby, well appointed and excellent staff. Very comfortable. Only sorry we missed th breakfast because of a ridulously early train
Review 67:The hotel is right next to Rabat ville station and we had a room at the back which was very quiet. It was also very convenient for the rest of the town. The staff were all very helpful and the facilities were good.
Review 68:Dinner at the restaurant was a little disappointing; breakfast, on the other hand, was divine!
Review 69:The location was wonderful, and the price was very reasonable. Our rooms were small but elegant and comfortable. The shower was particularly great!
Review 70:If you have a car there could be difficulty in finding parking space.
Review 71:Excellent location near all facilities in Rabat. The staff is friendly and courteous and the breakfast is a feast not to be missed.
Review 72:Construction was going on right above the room. Trying to spend a little time in the room after walking all over there were very loud power tools being used right above the room. The sound was so loud it could still be heard down in the lobby.
Review 73:Beautiful decor. Charming staff with a real attention to detail. Good location - nice local restaurants, located by train station and tram. Safe neighbourhood. Pleasant surroundings. Not far from tourist attractions either.
Review 74:Decor is Ok, but not very inspiring.
Review 75:Excellent location, perfect base from which to explore Rabat for a short visit. Staff was professional and helpful.
Review 76:This property is rated as four star, which might be true for the lobby. The rooms are small, simple and a bit worn out. The breakfast was not four star either. I my vision, this is a fair three star hotel, a bit overpriced.
Review 77:Great location. We were able to take the full tour of the city just walking from and to the hotel. Still, the street is very quiet. Friendly staff, free parking, free wifi.
Review 78:i booked a triple room and at check in i was promised free water and fruits that will me"right away", they arrived 4 hours later!! not enough towels for all 3 of us although it is a triple room, air conditioning not working, mini fridge not working, they are renovating the hotel and doing a lot of work on 3rd and 4th floor, we were placed on 3rd floor so we had to wake up at 8am listening to a lot of noise coming from next door, when we asked them to stop, they said it's only today, as if we were going to camp there for a month!!! we all managed only 3 hours of sleep and went for breakfast, the poorest buffet i have seen in my life, not enough food for 2 people let alone all hotel guests, food was cold and service stuff was negligent; a nightmare. at check out i informed reception of what happened in the morning and the noise etc, he said that he wouldn't have placed us on 3rd floor if he checked us in...now how is that our fault?? I do not recommend this hotel at all and would highly sugest it loses its 4* status.
Review 79:proximity to the train station
Review 80:The appearance of the room is not up to a 4* hotel's standards although the price is quite high for the Morroccan standards. The weather was cool and I was lucky because the airconditioning system was mot working. Also there was no fridge in the room. The second day they brought a fridge (good for them, I did't ask for it). However that fridge although it was making noise it was also not working. This hotel would be perfect if it charged up to 500MAD per night. The 830MAD it charges are too much for what it offers.
Review 81:Perfect location, right next to the central Rabat Ville train station and tram station. Big bathroom. Very rich buffet breakfast.
Review 82:Breakfast too much morrocan for my taste
Review 83:Near the railway station and convinient to the city center and main interest points. Wide and confortable room.
Review 84:if you come by train it is in good location, but its uncomfortably small, if you did not hate each other you will:),you cannot move in the little room you can just sleep ther
Review 85:the breakfast is perfect, french style breakfast is excellent
Review 86:It is quite near the train station, only two minutes on foot.
Review 87:Very close to the train station. Good wifi. Breakfast was really excellent with great service
Review 88:Breakfast good but buffet dinner is something we always avoid.
Review 89:Very good location and free parking right outside. Easy to get taxi to all the sights.
Review 90:no heating was cold , quite expensive for what it is more of a 3 star than 4
Review 91:fantastic breakfast freindly staff, great central location
Review 92:Internet does not always work inside the room but the staff are always ready to help.
Review 93:The location and the very very good staff.
Review 94:As a 4 star hotel breakfast is not good.
Review 95:Good location. Staff are nice and helpfull.
