Review 1：We arrived at Savona Centro Storico about 5 pm. The taxi could not get into the alley and it was difficult to find the building when hauling our three suitcases plus hand baggage..There was no elevator going upstairs to the entrance. I have difficulty walking so my wife climbed up two stories to reach the hotel (really a guest house, should not be misnamed as a hotel as in the agency booking website), and rang the bell but there was no response after repeated ringing. Later I also climbed up with the help of my wife and banged loudly on the door many times. We asked some residents in the same building and were told it was the correct hotel but they could not help us to get into it. After 40 minutes of futile try we gave up and hauled all baggage back to the main road and tried to get a taxi to any nearby hotel. But we could not get any taxi and people told us there was no other hotel nearby and had to walk a long way, across a bridge, to a new hotel in the direction of the train station where we originally came from. This would be impossible for me. We wandered on the main road with all baggage, and my wife ran to various other street corners trying to get a taxi, all to no avail. We also could not find a good restaurant that serves soup, only bars and coffee shops. Nearly 8 pm, that is, after three hours of trying to get to the hotel and wandering on the streets, we had no choice left except to walk to that new FX hotel far away across a bridge. But I told my wife to walk back once again into the alley of Savona Centro Storico to make a last attempt, while I waited on the main road with the suitcases. This time she succeeded, and some minutes later she emerged from the alley with the host of the guest house, who helped us to move our bags and lifted them upstairs to our room. We were exhausted by the experience.
Review 2：There is no parking with this hotel. If you have the patience to circle the town looking for a spot and the good fortune that someone pulls out just at the right time, you may be able to find a space to park but it is not easy. Best to price in extra charges for city car parking.
Review 3：Its not a hotel - its a room in someones apartment The car park is morethan a short walk - especially if you have to carry You cannot find it!!! we had to get the police nearby to show us where it was. Cash Only

Review 9：It is little confusing the way you meet your host and next morning when we decided to leave we were waiting 2 hours for someone to show up. Finally about 12 a.m. One lady shows up but she didn't know how much we have to pay and we didn't know her. Also it is not very easy to get your laguagge into the place because stairs are very steep but our host Rafael help us with the bagage

Review 17：When you are searching for the hotel note that the buildings in Savona have two house numbers so don't get confused. Search for the tiny hotel sign just above the doorbell buttons at number 10.
Review 18：Inside the hotel is a riot of plush, opulent furniture and decor. The bathroom, fully stocked with fine toiletries and its amazing shower, were let down by poor water pressure. Wifi is good, as is bed comfort. There is a Nespresso machine in the room, but note the cost is €1 per cup in the honestly box.

Review 21：My wife and I enjoyed the charm and décor of this beautifully restored apartment. We found the location convenient to the cruise departures and nicely situated in an historical area with well appointed shops and restaurants frequented by locals. The staff was helpful in many ways. They steered us to restaurants, coffee shops and helped greatly with the logistics of accessing the cruise departures. Great people to deal with, enjoy your stay!
