Reviews for Le Dawliz Hotel & Spa

Review 1:Our room was not ready when we checked in and there was a discrepancy about the number of guests.

Review 2:The facilities were nice and the view across the river was beautiful! The restaurant and restaurant staff were excellent and the swimming pool was clean and well kept.

Review 3:Transport problems for travelers without own transport. Only taxi in Sale, another only taxi in Rabatt, for both cities, only divided by a bridge,a "big" taxi very expensive and complicated. Very bad educated and noisy children in the swimming pool area , not a hotel for children !

Review 4:good food / swimming pool ok / room very nice / river and view ok / quiet location

Review 5:Poor breakfast, no internet access, too much noise in the night coming from the bar, not clean (steps on the floor, hairs in the bathroom), poor TV options, broken lock of the door to the balcony, broken knob of the closet, damaged wall sockets, reception not available twice

Review 6:Wifi keeps disconnecting and you have to keep going back to reception to take a new login every day.

Review 7:Spacious rooms Good staff Nice food and location

Review 8:First off, this place is in Sale, not Rabat, and the blue taxis don't go there, while the big white taxis charge 100Dhs to go there per trip. The hotel is old and tired. The staff were surly and not quite so helpful. The cleaning ladies just barged into the rooms after knocking once, without waiting for a response. The breakfast was also ok. Americans of a certain age will relate to Howard Johnson's -- a chain of motels which just seemed old and tired by the time the 70s were finished. Here's the Moroccan version.

Review 9:It had good internet.

Review 10:In a secluded area, so you need a car. Business center is only one laptop in an open area.

Review 11:The hotel is small and calm. Two floors only, not more than 50 rooms. The rooms are very spacious and the balcony view is great.Has separate big cafe, bar, and club.

Review 12:Only bad thing building site opposite - working all night and occasionally noisy. Were warned about it before and presumably it won't last long.

Review 13:Came back here for the second year running for a 4 night stay, and so glad we did. Given a beautiful junior suite -looking out over the river. Staff very friendly and attentive; breakfasts good, lots of choice - though always the same things. Very easy access to city via trams

Review 14:Basic breakfast - staff not really helping

Review 15:Nice hotel - large rooms - good parking area - was offered free coffee and breakfast when we check in early - the first time EVER I have been offered anything from free in Morocco !! Good bar with ok prices - Location good for our meetings

Review 16:It's in a suburb called Sale, and there is absolutely no neighborhood to speak of, nowhere to walk. The restaurant not worth eating in (except quick breakfast). But it's a good value for the money if you have a driver.

Review 17:It was very quiet, the room was very simple and clean. Nothing fancy about it. Staff was courteous. Got my laundry back in time.

Review 18:Expensive

Review 19:loved the hotel! We just got married and it was enjoyable stay. Very pricy though but worth the money paid. Their breakfast was so delicious. Overall I definitely would recommend the hotel

Review 20:Isolated and a good walk from transportation. The Salé souks are poor compared to Rabat across the river. About a half mile + walk to the tram. Petit taxis cannot cross the river. There is a disco/pizza joint on the street side of the hotel that is very noisy till late at night. Expensive rooms.

Review 21:The food and facilities were very good, with a large pool and most rooms having a view of the Bou Regreg River. Nice bar.

Review 22:Never believe the room's pictures, size, etc. We stay at Suite room,it completely different, please change the pictures, size, etc inbooking.com, give us the right information.

Review 23:Nice river view, very relaxing sunset with morrocon mint tea, close toHasan mosque, historical place and medina...

Review 24:Loved the four hands massage at the spa....loved the spa!!! Paintings throughout the hotel really made the place feel special and the breakfast buffet was great... Happy with the options.

Review 25:Limited dining menu for late night arrivals. We tried to order dinner after arriving at 9pm and hd very limited options. What we did order however, was delicious.

Review 26:Staff was very friendly and eager the roto accommodate our requests. The room was clean and the grounds were well kept. Would recommend this hotel.

Review 27:-They are using bathroom-like locks as main door locks with extremely basic keys from the 1980's. (the kind you can open with a hair pin). while there is no security cameras in the corridors. - In my opinion Dawliz sounds like a "used to be" Today it looks more like a Motel, it needs a serious refresh integrating modern tech features. (not adding a SPA) - The management seems to be stuck in the 1980's yet they charge 2014 rates !!!

Review 28:breakfast had good variety including few season fruits and vegies.

Review 29:Wifi variable Cannot get Rabat taxi as just outside - have to get tram in which is about 500m (10min walk)

Review 30:Staff friendly and helpful Rooms very large Area quiet and secluded away from hussle and hussle of Rabat central Nice swimming pool Views of river very pretty

Review 31:The hotel quality, staff and the location was idyllic. We were given a complementary upgrade to a suite which was amazing.

Review 32:Great location with large, quiet and comfortable room. Very nice buffet breakfast. Good parking facilities.

Review 40:Rooms with swimming pool right outside

Review 41:easy walk to Sale and the new tram system makes it quick to Rabat. the pool and breakfast were great

Review 42:Too far away from interesting sites

Review 43:It was clean

Review 44:My room toilet had a leak which was uncomfortable.

Review 45:Location and quite surroundings.

Review 46:Unhelpful staff except one lady receptionist. Laughing annoying women in the spa. Sauna costs 100 dirhams for 30 mins.

Review 47:Cleanliness of hotel

Review 48:wifi didn't work properly very poor breakfast of low quality

Review 49:room size location

Review 50:Hotel was good, but in Sale and not in Rabat. I booked it because it said it would be 600m from Rabat station, which was not the case.

Review 51:Large rooms with very comfortable beds. Very clean. Attractive property. Helpful staff.

Review 52:nic lokachan on see said or revar ilike it qait

Review 53:The room and the nice view of the river

Review 54:I didn't like in the bathroom was 2 light not working and the soap was to small for kids not adult

Review 55:- expensive - staff not prperly trained - old building - some staff are rude

Review 56:- coffee shop - hoka place is very nice but expensive - view

Review 57:They don't have king bed ... Only have two double twins beds stick together.. Looks like one king .. Not good if u r with wife...

Review 58:Mr Grump the receptionist!

Review 59:Spa treatment was excellent great value for money

Review 60:Poor food

Review 61:Room sizes are good

Review 62:The lack of qualified personnel.

Review 63:The location

Review 64:Romantic Place, quiet and friendly staff I like to go back. Not far from the city

Review 65:Great location, outstanding suite, knowledgeable and hands on staff, amazing view and good breakfast except for the dirty spoon on my coffee that I ordered a la carte since we missed the breakfast time! We will definitely be back.

Review 66:- dinner first evening - expensive, bad taste; awful food in my opinion; luckily there is a McDonalds nearby; - in one morning, one of the employees was arranging the croissants on the plate with his bear hands; at 4 star hotel; - poor breakfast in general, only good thing - the mellon; - bad beer at the restaurant - nearly expired, bad taste; - one of my sliding balcony doors could not be locked; instead of repair it, the personnel blocked it with a piece of wood so I could not slide it anymore; you do not do that at a 4 star hotel; you do not do that at any hotel; - room generally clean, but the carpet could have been cleaned better; - mosquitos in the room; no mosquito nets at the balcony doors; - only 5-6 TV channels working, only one English news channel available; - for internet access one should go to reception every 24 hours and ask for new user & password (expires every 24 hours); nice to interact with other people thou; :) - no Rabat maps at the reception.

Review 67:- location; very well placed, near the river; balcony was facing the river; - big room, big and very clean & nice bathroom with separate big shower; clean room in general; - big bed, very nice. - fair internet available, however not very fast; - hotel has gym, spa and pool; - mellon at breakfast almost every day; - nice personnel in general, except the reception which can be visibly improved; people from reception should smile more.

Review 68:It's a good hotel good location .. Rooms are big and clean and very silence hotel , The break fast is very poor comparing with other 4 stars hotel , Also the food at the restaurant not tasty .

Review 69:If you did not want to eat in the hotel all the time it was a 10 minute walk to the tram to take you into Rabat to find somewhere to eat.

Review 70:Location for the views and peacefulness . The pool and garden areas were lovely with great views. The hotel arranged for a driver to take us to a spectacular Riad restaurant. It was the highlight of our stay

Review 71:We liked everything about this hotel.

Review 72:We booked into this hotel on our last night in Morocco for a bit ofluxury! We weren't disappointed. The staff were charming and we werebowled over with our large room with a balcony view over the river. Ashort walk took us to the tramway stop, from where it was a shortjourney into Rabat itself.

Review 73:My room smelled when I entered it...like smoke and ???. The bathroom was not clean. STAY IN A RIAD!!!! It is a guest house in the Media (old city). You can find very nice ones. Twice as luxurious half the price, much better customer service and food. Everyone wanted money, the door man, the cab driver wanted more than you should expect to pay... everyone!!

Review 74:The bed was really comfortable...not sure how clean it was, but comfortable.

Review 75:The breakfast was good but had no muesli cereal.

Review 76:Fanticastic position by river with a great view. Near to tram stop that takes you to centre of Rabat in a few minutes. Short walk to marina and its restaurant. Short walk to Sale old town. Mac Donalds nearby if you want a burger....

Review 77:Breakfast is basic. Every night until 23:00 there was music from a party or band clearly audible in my room.

Review 78:Clean hotel, huge and comfortable rooms. Traffic to other side of the river (Rabat city) takes a long time in the morning due to traffic jams.

Review 79:the room is dark because there is not enought light , the wifi is not free as booking is showing ( 30 minut for 3 euro ?! ) , horrible smell in the bathroom.

Review 80:the look of the river from the hotel.

Review 81:Restaurant is a fail: overpriced poor quality food. McDonalds nearby provides better quality :-)

Review 82:Very good rooms - spacious and comfortable Nice location - riverside Quiet and peaceful

Review 83:The service. Not enough channels on tv. The breakfast is not up to int.5 star hotel. The coffee the serve is the worse ever. Staff behined front desk unprofetional.

Review 84:The location and quietness.

Review 85:the staff is almost rude! no smily face, no welcoming attitude, super slow and mean! specially the reception desk staff is terrible, because of their mean attitude we changed our hotel after staying 1 night.

Review 86:the price and standard is excellent compared to many hotels in rabat and general morocco

Review 87:The breakfast was adequate but too basic. Needs to have a mixed salad option, and a good muesali cereal.

Review 88:Close to Rabat by car, also near tram stop so you can take tram to center. Walking distance to the new marina with bars and restaurants. Walking distance to old town of Sale. Walking distance to beach. Very nice views over river of green country side and the plateau of Rabat with King Hassan´s mausaleam in Rabat. The best hotel that I have stayed in Rabat very comfortable and relaxing

Review 89:it was the worst hotel I have been to rip the bar trickery in lobby paid twice for the room. still have not got the money back even after 5 working anymore there never again would you do it?

Review 90:The airport shuttle is nonexistent. They did have a taxi take me to theairport (5 minutes away) and charged me 200 dirham. A ride that shouldhave cost 20-30 dirham. Felt ripped off.

Review 91:I loved the location on the river, the room and hotel were beautiful andmodern. Restaurant had good food, the spa was decent.

Review 92:Every thing was great

Review 93:None

Review 94:Everything. I stayed several times. I recommend it.

Review 95:The hotel is not in rabat but another city nearly.

Review 96:I like the location.

Review 97:Clean, good internet accessibility, short walk to tram line.

Review 98:Have to pay for Wifi seperate.

Review 99:The location is perfect and very quiet, set up is great. Staff is very friendly. it's very near to airport.

Review 100:impossible to have marocco dishes for diner

Review 101:location. My stay was to short unfortunately
