Review 22:Very difficult to find even with the map!

Review 23:Staff especially Dominco very friendly & helpful & most knowledgable. Most obliging & make the stay pleasurable.

Review 24:Room was a bit small and bed not too comfortable but for one-two nights it was very good value for the money.

Review 25:We liked all people in service. Taxi arrangements with cruise and also good seafood ristorante advise.

Review 26:The bathroom was cra Smallish bathroom. A little distance to port.

Review 27:The room was a decent size, with good a.c. Good walking location in old neighborhood, with market and restaurants not far. Wonderful staff.

Review 28:Good location, perfect for "start-of" for to continue to a cruise. Nice helpfull staff, good breakfast. Small room, however if you´re not planing on spending your holiday at the room it is good value and with a mini bathroom it wa all very fresh and clean. Fast internet. We like!

Review 29:The Pub next door was closed.

Review 30:Friendly people. Went out of their way to insure our stay was comfortable. Made arrangements for transportation directly to the Cruise Ship. We did not take the schuttle due to 4 weeks worth of luggage.

Review 31:We, 2 couples, stayed at this hotel in May 2015 pre cruise for one night and we were not disappointed. The hotel is situated within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the port. The host could not be more welcoming or helpful. He did everything for us including lugging our luggage upstairs for us on arrival and down stairs for us on departure. One of the best hosts we have experienced. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and the breakfast just perfect. We heartily will recommend this hotel and stay here again. Excellent value for money and perfect pre cruise.

Review 32:There was no elevator in the hotel and not phones in the rooms. The immediate neighborhood was not very pleasant.

Review 33:The hotel is very clean and attractive. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The price was attractive.

Review 34:The bed squeaked every time we moved. Also the the town was closed on Sunday, it is a port of call for cruise ships and most of the tourist come in on sat, wasnt much to do, they would also spend money in the town if the stores were opened

Review 35:The staff were very nice and location was close to everything

Review 36:Don,t get confused with a large old building on the corner with the same name on your way there!!

Review 37:Quaint old street with a bar next door and a market square further up!

Review 38:The bathroom is tiny and the decor a bit old. can hear the people in other rooms quite easily.

Review 39:The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good.

Review 40:location i would take a cab if i ever did it again its close to main attractions but hard to find on own

Review 41:he was very conscientious and looked after our every need. he spoke english and was a genius at forcasting our needs, such as need for dinner, carrying our bags etc he gave us much info on taxis, local attractions, and comfort.

Review 42:The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations for dining and shopping! We'll definitely stay there again! And it was conveniently located to walk to the port.

Review 43:If I was being picky I would only say the pillow was a bit hard

Review 44:Very friendly, helpful staff. Spoke English and carried my luggage. Substantial breakfast included. Clean and comfortable room. Very sound proof. Free wifi.

Review 45:Everything was great, the room was nice and clean. The staff were great, they helped us with our luggage and did not want us to do anything. The breakfast was great too. The staff gave us a map with all directions and made sure to give an answer to all our questions. The location is great we walked it to the port and it took less then 10 min. I will definately go there again if I am in Civitavecchia. If you go there you will have no regrets.

Review 46:We loved the staff and several such as Domenico really made for a great vacation in between cruises. Room was nice and clean but somewhat plain. Breakfast though cold was always good.

Review 47:Everything was great! Of course, I would have loved a tub, but everyone knows hotels in this area have small rooms.

Review 48:I think it was the owner that was there our stay. She was fantastic, helping us with our bags (they were very heavy), suggesting a nearby pizzeria for dinner (best pizza we had while we were in Italy and such a great price too), and arranged transportation to the cruise ship for us. I wasn't sure what to expect based on the reviews, but I am quite glad that we stayed here. I felt like we were able to experience a true Italian hotel and cuisine, not a touristy version like at other hotels and restaurants. Also, the stay came with a free continental breakfast and the pastries were lovely. Highly recommend this hotel :)

Review 49:Front room of this hotel was very noisey until 1am due to the immediate proximity of a bar on either side of thee property. Very helpful staff were unaware that the port bus no longer started from its old point but from a new central point about a good half mile from the hotel

Review 50:Excellent staff, room and breakfast good enough

Review 51:Our day was made wonderful by the amazingly helpful and kind manager of this nice small hotel in an interesting town in its own right. Civitavecchia is the port for Rome, and business is now dominated by cruise ship visits, arrivals and departures. Our cruise left from here, and we only stayed one night, but it's worth extending your stay for another day or so.

Review 52:There is nothing we didn't like. The rooms are small but so is the price.

Review 53:We loved the location. The hotel was really clean. There were several great restaurants within a short walk especially Rhapsody two streets down. It is very close to the cruise terminal. The owners and staff were very helpful. It is a perfect hotel for embarking on a cruise.

Review 54:No phone in room. Shower was very small, although adequate.

Review 55:Loved Anna. She was so pleasant and gracious and so very helpful in giving us directions and places to go. Breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented.

Review 56:The staff is great - efficient, caring, responsible. They go the extra mile if you need them! Lovely buffet in the morning! The hotel is charming - as you go up the stairs they are faced with stylized tiles and on your side are vines descending from planters. The room has just what you need. The location is close to the waterfront yet it feels like being in a safe neighborhood.

Review 57:The twin beds in our room were narrow and a bit hard but for one night the positives far outweighed this

Review 58:We were arriving at noon on a flight from Toronto and leaving the next morning on a cruise from Civitavecchia. I was looking for a clean and comfortable hotel for one night near the port. Based on previous reviews I booked at the Porto di Roma and it was exactly as past reviewers had said. Our room was small and quite basic but met our needs perfectly. The two front desk staff were superb, the room was spotlessly clean and the hotel was in a terrific location near the market which we visited in the morning and less than 10 minutes from the sea front. We spoke to others who had also spent a night in Civitavecchia and paid far more for less satisfactory accommodation. Many larger hotels could learn a great deal about customer service from this hotel!

Review 59:Bathroom was minute and when other rooms were having showers the water came up through the drain in the shower. Room was small but as we were staying only 1 night it was OK. This hotel is located in a back street in the old town, there is no view and it is halfway up a steepish hill on a cobbled street.

Review 60:Helpfulness of the Staff, the lady who ran the place was better than excellent and made up for many of the shortcomings of the hotel. If you know in advance what you are booking then the place is fine and as an overnight before going on a cruise then it does its job.

Review 61:We stayed at this hotel as we came off a cruise and would have been unable to transfer to the airport in time for our flight. The 2 men we met at reception on both mornings were unbelievably courteous - allowing us really early check-in, running to carry bags, explaining where to eat/shop/explore, and offering to organise transfers. The hotel was clean and fresh looking downstairs. Big choice of continental breakfast and great coffee.

Review 62:Friendliest staff I've ever met Great place for one night stay just before your cruise Tidy rooms, well covered with wifi, good breakfast - just don't expect miracles - it's a great price for the service you get

Review 63:This was the absolute perfect location to stay before embarking on a cruise, literally a stroll to the shuttle bus! Anna the receptionist was amazing, and gave us so much useful information, our 1 day night in the port was made special thanks to her useful tips, cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Review 64:Honestly, the only thing that could be improved is that the Internet signal was not very strong from our corner room but still managed to work well enough on most of our devices. Also note that there is no lift/elevator although the staff carried all of our luggage g

Review 65:The hotel is very welcoming and clean, comfortable beds, and individually controlled air conditioner that worked wonderfully which was important since we were there in the hot summer months. The free breakfast had a good variety as far as European breakfasts go. Fresh croissants and cakes daily, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, hot tea, and cafe. It was in a great location with an afternoon market and several main piazzas within a few minutes walk. And only about a 10 minute walk to the water, 15 minutes to the train station. The staff was the most gracious and attentive I have ever found in Europe and I am not exaggerating the slightest. They went out of their way to help us out at every turn!

Review 66:Nothing
