Review 2：Very very friendly staff. Smiling and nice. Very good wireless connection, which is rare for an Italian hotel. Good location. I've stayed at hotels with a view on the sea (2 min. away anyhow), but I'd take friendly staff and good internet any time over a glimpse at the sea, especially if one travels for business.

Review 21：My husband and I were on our 27th Anniversary trip. We stopped into Pescara for the night. The hotel was in a great location and the staff was the most welcoming group of people we met on our entire trip in Italy. We received an email prior to our arrival from Fabio Sorrentino with information about getting to the hotel from the airport/bus station. He met us at the front desk and was very helpful. The hotel was in the heart of the shopping district and a few blocks from the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. We ate at the hotel’s restaurant which was the best meal we had on our entire trip. The service, food and location made it a wonderful experience. We would stay there again.

Review 23：Fabio, at Reception, was charming and very helpful, as were all the staff. The breakfast was superb; nothing was too much trouble. The room was very good and characteristically stylish, especially the en suite facilities. The doors of all rooms were entirely covered by reproductions of a well known paintings. Ours carried a detail from a Degas. The hotel is very conveniently located at the centre of Pescara. Fabio recommended the Venezia Cafe just across the road. This too was excellent, providing a wide range of food and good local wine, both at reasonable prices. The staff at the Venezia were also very nice.

Review 24：We were given a very warm welcome on our early arrival by Fabio offering us refreshments. The quality of the hotel was outstanding, location excellent (close to everything) great breakfast and staff were very friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was that we were only able to stay for one night. Will definitely return!

We arrived early (11am), and they were able to arrange for the room to be available within ten minutes. A special mention to Fabio, who was so helpful with all our questions on where to eat, buy a plug adapter etc. And the complimentary cocktail before we headed out to dinner was a lovely touch. We can definitely recommend this hotel. We also ate in the restaurant associated with the hotel (La Terrazza) where the food was great, the service excellent, and the view stunning.

Review 70：our Sat Nav did not like the one-way system in Pescara and kept trying to send us the wrong way down one-way streets ! I finally noticed the finger boards for the hotel and simply followed them.

Review 71：ALL the staff were simply excellent, and they really could not do enough to make our stay perfect- from parking the car to arranging push bikes to storing the bikes for us when not in use - the breakfasts were also excellent with fresh cooked eggs if required and the blood orange juice has made me a big fan ! - I would certainly return to this hotel again and again - the rooms with balconies are lovely and are overlooking the street but with very little noise in the mornings. the location is right in the middle of the centre of Pescara and could not be beaten.

Fabio, in particular, was so accommodating with suggestions on things to do, places to eat etc. The location of the hotel is second to none, with everything on your doorstep. Ask for a room with a balcony, as watching the world go by below is entertaining.

Review 89：The Victoria is a jewel in Pescara. It's a small hotel, but big onfriendly service and a great staff. Location is only a couple of blocksfrom the beachfront where there are many good restaurants and bars. Thehotel itself appears to be fairly new and very contemporary design. Therooms were very nice with a spotless bathroom and a nice arrangement. Wehad a balcony that opened out on the street, but it had shutters thatcompletely blocked all noise at night if closed. The breakfast wasoutstanding with a good selection of items on the buffet along withcooked to order eggs. The American coffee was excellent and a real treatafter three weeks in Italy without out customary morning coffee. We hada car and the staff took care of finding a place to park it at nocharge. It's a very safe area and we were never concerned aboutwalking around at night.The Victoria was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our three weeks in Italy! Outstanding property.

Review 108：The luxury wellness centre is not really luxury, nor is it a wellnesscentre. It is basically a simple 1-3 person steam room and sauna locatedin the basement of the hotel. It isn't mentioned on checkin, youhave to find it on your own, and it has to be reserved an hour inadvance (so that they can turn it on). They need to improve this aspectof the hotel because it is not in line with the otherwise classyexperience this hotel provides.

The hotel is within 5 mins walk of the beach and onthe doorstep of a number of very good places to eat. Our hire car wastaken care of (there wasn't a space when we arrived but we left itwith the hotel and it was parked safely on our behalf). We were visitingPescara as a day out from our annual visit to see family nearer toNaples, but decided to go as a stage of the Giro d'Italia wasfinishing there this year. Having now been, we will definitely go backin future visits to Italy (next time for a few days, here) as the beachis stunning and there is plenty to do for children. The decor of thehotel is stunning and very well maintained. Breakfast buffet was verygood, plenty of choice, and the staff again went out of their way tomake us feel at home. I've stayed at hotels all over the world forpleasure and business and can honestly say that this hotel should beused as a benchmark for others.
