Review 1：Carry up luggage through narrow staircase to 2nd or 3rd floor (there isno elevator). Ignacio also has hotel 100 mtrs away. Breakfast was everymorning in beach pavillion opposite his hotel, so walk (can be veryhot, or rainy). Breakfast was rather simple, was more varied in mostother hotels.
Review 2：Owner Ignacio is very kind and helpfull. Limited knowledge of Englishand German. Room was okay with all facilities. Easy parking in streetsaround. Famiana deserves a good note, but 9.4 (In 2012 : 9.7) is toohigh, because :

Review 6：The sea is as close as you would only dream. In the morning you can walk barefoot on the beach and swim before breakfast. The owner Ignasio is really nice. He gives useful information about where to go and what to see. The breakfast and especially the coffee he makes are very good. The rooms, though not so large, are very clean, cosy and have everything you may need for your comfort including delightful lunch with local products and fruits on the balcony with the sea view. There are several supermarkets nearby.
Review 7：At the beach it is difficult to get into the water --- large stones make it difficult to walk and there is an immediate drop-off to deep water. But the water is clear and beautiful and the beach is quiet.
Review 8：Host Ignazio speaks English and was helpful. This is the only B & B in Sicily where we got fresh-baked croissants and delicious fresh bread. Lettoianni is a former fishing village that has become a B & B site for Taormina, but is still very small and quiet.
Review 9：It can be a bit too noisy to sleep with the windows open, but you alsohave air conditioning as an alternative, if needed.

Review 11：What to say? With one word...GREAT! You have your own teracce with viewon Etna, real Sicilian live around in narrow streets, you can go by walkeverywhere due this b&b is in city centre. Let´s go to near market forfresh fish and salats, fruits and wine ... make your own dinner andenjoy your stay by Lorena. She is very helpful and friendly, so yourstay here could be great start for learning Catania and Sicily.
