Set on Savona’s seafront, the Mare Hotel has a private beach, a large sea-view terrace with outdoor pool and modern rooms with hill or sea views. Savona's center is a 5-minute drive away.
All non-smoking rooms at the Hotel Mare come with a private balcony and a sofa. They all have free Wi-Fi, an LCD TV with both satellite and cable channels, plus a private bathroom complete with a hairdryer and toiletries.

Review 1：We travelled with two babies and we enjoyed the stay. Just we stayed one night, but without problems we would stay mor days there. Friendly stuff, clean hotel anf the garden is extraordinary. Breakfast and dinner was delicious. Sure we will be back

Review 2：The only thing we had trouble with was the a/c, so we slept with the doors open and since it was October we were able to keep the room cool.

Review 3：The beach view was amazing and the hotel was very modern, including the room. The bed was very comfortable compared to most hotels we've stayed at in Europe. The breakfast was also delicious and the staff very friendly. Free parking available as well.

Review 8：Not a very special location but had its own beach! Restaurant was not welcoming so went elsewhere and found an alternative restaurant that was welcoming and very good value. We were on the third floor of five and found it difficult to use the lift as it was always full . Not enough capacity for the number of rooms. We had cheaper room at the back of the hotel and the traffic was noisy-we should have known as it was reflected in the price.

And the restaurants! The seafood restaurant (and sushi place) was the biggest surprise of all. You'd have to experience it to fully appreciate it but it's a destination unto itself. Review 28：The city centre is 35 minute walk away. At least there is a bus station in front of the hotel with busses leaving frequently. In our room the Wi-Fi signal was quite weak.

Review 29：The staff was very helpful and friendly, the breakfast buffet was inviting. With the beach just two steps away the hotel is perfect for a stay at the sea.

Review 30：Location : too far from the centre of Savona ( 3-4 km) , you need a car if you want to enjoy your stay. Alternatively you can walk along a very busy road for 3-4 km or use the bus which goes to town every 20 mins. Another thing : the check out time is 10.00 which is rather unusual for a 4 star hotel.

Review 42：Location was a bit away from the local sights. Parking was a bit tight and I felt discouraged to take the car out in case the parking was suddenly not available. A bus stops nearby and the service was good.
