Review 1：The carpet in the room was dirty and worn. there were bags of garbage in the driveway with Rubbish spilling out.

Review 18：Poor condition of room/resort showed a real lack of maintenance. -balcony flyscreen not attached. -smell in room -dishwasher cutlery basket broken -draw handle broken -general condition of resort very low. -no foxtel on main tv as advertised. -foxtel in bedroom on TV from the 80's, but only picture, audio just static -three pools is a big stretch, 1 was a very small kids pool, 2nd and third separated by small walkway.

Review 20：Where to start? The view from the room upstairs was of dead trees and a channel of murky water. Downstairs the view was of a weed infested bunch of bush. The entry had cigarette butts outside and once inside it smelt of mould. The bathroom had mould around the edges of the bath and on the window sill. The vanity top drawer was broken and wouldn't shut. The hair dryer was just hanging on the wall and is about to fall off. The bed side light had chewing gum on it. The air con units outside are rusted and rattle when running. Upstairs the lounge is so uncomfortable you cannot sit on it. One of kitchen cupboards has a door hanging askew. The balcony is supported by rust affected supports. Some electrical equipment has out of date test tags and the remaining equipment has no test tags. There are large ants that come in at night. The unit is a health hazard due to the mould and it is easy to see how management are maximising the profits. We left a day early and it took 4 days of repeated calls to make contact with the manager, phones go unanswered and staff were uncertain as to when he attends work.

Review 21：The only good thing to say is the restaurant meals (evening) were nice. (Ate their once). There is a sign out the front of motel saying kitchen is available to rent. Should have interpreted that as a sign of what to expect elsewhere.

Review 22：There were no drinking glasses in the unit. We told reception after breakfast on day 2, but we still did not get any glasses delivered. There was rubbish strewn around in the gardens. Outside our front door was filthy, and it needed a sweep. The gardens nee a good clean up. This was like a 2 star property. No room service.

Review 26：As soon as I walked in I saw a draw hanging off the bathroom cabinet, room in need of over haul, drink stains on table on balcony. Room service was you could order it and then you have to go to restaurant to pick it up!

Review 28：ALL The staff were amazing from reception to the bar staff. So helpful and friendly. Location was great for us not right in Coffs which was perfect. Very quite location. Beach view which were stunning. The food was Sensational compliments to the chef. Best garlic prawns and Cajun chicken salad. Treated the kids (ages 5 and 8) as 'people' did not look down on them but instead we're welcoming even making them a meal even though restaurant wasn't offically open. Air con was great and in all bedrooms and lounge room! We used this as a stopover from Newcastle to Sunshine Coast and will be out hotel of choice in the future! Also only a $1 secure fee not $400 like I had at the last hotel I had! This worked well.

Review 31：The whole resort was a little tired & run down. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Tinned tomatoes & mushrooms with added herbs. Glad we only had continental. We first came to Aqualuna when it was still being built with only a few units, & we have been back quite a few times. We were told we were given an upgrade but I don't think that was the case, it felt like we were shoved into a sub-standard room that needed a revamp.

Review 42：Staff on check out seem ditzy. Checking out a day early also was an issue for them and I couldn't get a tax invoice. The lady said it would be emailed the following day and it never was. I had to chase it up. They also charged for the extra night that I was unable to stay we no negotiations on a refund or credit. On the plus side bar staff at night very friendly.

Review 48：My husbands meal, hes steak was very tough he could only eat 1/2 off it. The flavor was great it was cooked just right just a bad piece of steak. When he mention this they said they would let the chief know but know one came back to see us. When he ordered dessert and mentioned about the meal again that it was cooked right nice flavor but just a bad piece of steak he was given a complementary stubby. Probably not good enough when you could only it 1/2 your $36 meal.

Review 55：Firstly we were given the wrong room rude female staff member on arrival. Room was dirty mould around spa, on my valance there was something white I can't bare to think what it was, stained towels,toilet leaked and I trod in it, a noise coming from laundry no idea what. It was an absolute nightmare

Review 57：The furnishings have seen better days. The sofabed had two large gaping holes which were patched up with duct tape. I shared my bedroom with a spider in the corner near the bedside table and another one in the opposite corner. A bit of housekeeping would have removed them prior to occupancy. There was no TV in the bedroom. The front door had a clear panel of glass and anyone walking past the room would have been able to see someone sitting on the the sofa. For a single traveller, security and privacy are very important. I didn't think that the lock on the balcony doors was adequate and there was no lock on the screen door. I didn't have breakfast because I was leaving before the restaurant opened at 7am which would have delayed my departure but I was not offered an alternative. And finally, room service, means ROOM service. Not, call up and order it, then when it's ready, walk up to the restaurant and collect it. I realise that this service would add to the cost of the room so why not just not offer it. My stay was used to break up my trip from Sydney to Brisbane. I needed somewhere safe and relaxing, where I could eat in my room, shower, watch some TV in bed and sleep, before resuming the trip the following day. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Review 58：The staff were very helpful and friendly. My special requests were accommodated. The linen was very clean, the room appeared to be clean and all the self catering facilities were provided for a longer stay.

Review 59：We were very happy with everything, from the office to our apartment, we satisfied with everything, it was a bitty we were only staying for one night, maybe next time we'll stay a bit longer. We will share with our friends so they know next time where to stay :)

Review 60：Chewing gum stuck to lampshade in bedroom and oven didn't work. Carpets were damp as all the windows were open when we arrived and it was blowing a gale. Also there were a load of dead flies all over the window sill in the breakfast area. That was a huge turn off.

Review 64：We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which was lovely. Apartments are very generous with lots of space, washer and dryer and full kitchen. We only stayed one night but you could definitely stay long term. Staff were all friendly, which always makes the stay pleasant

We arrived an hour before checkin and were turned away from the resort - not even offer to relax and have a drink while waiting or to use the pool! After a long trip we then had to get back in the car and go for a drive!! Mattress was really uncomfortable and old!!! Woke at 5am each morning coz couldn't stand being in bed! Dust throughout room, mouldy grout around bath, stains on curtains and on wall at head of bed!! This was our last adults only weekend away before we have our baby and we would've been better off staying at home - what a waste of money!!!

Bags of Rubbish and disgarded electrical stuff in car park gave an overall impression of being messy, untidy and a lack of pride in presentation... Nothing at all open til 7am too late for any business travel...I've stayed in many places in Coffs which were well ahead in terms of value for money and overall experience. Look elsewhere...

Even the petrol station next door was helpful.

Review 79：The cleaniness and the maintenace of the room needs a lot of work dust every where, rubbish left in the room under the staircase. Holes in the walls, smoke detector missing from up stairs, paint and wall damage every where, mould in bath room. Split system HVACs havent had there filters cleaned or replaced in the last 10 years.

There was paperm empty cans and a used babies nappy in a bag laying around. It was reported to the front desk the morning after we arrived and didn't get cleaned up prior to us leaving. The WIFI was also a bit hard to get in some spots, not that it mattered too much as we didn't require it very much during our stay.

Review 96：The Aqualuna resort was wonderful. The staff could not do enough for us. They were friendly, polite and helpful. Tha facilities and access to the beautiful beach was fantastic. The unit was well laid out. The restaurant was amazing with great value for money meals served hot and tasty. They catered for our vegitariean daughter and did wonderful meals for her. We will definitely be coming back to this resort as it was one of the best times away we have had for a long, long time. Thank you to the staff for the way they looked after us.

Review 97：Lack of cleanliness of the room - there was a toy frog on the loungeroom floor on arrival, the coffee table was really sticky, carpets had multiple stains and the main bathroom tiles in the shower were mouldy. The unit were were upgraded to had no TV in the bedroom - that's the one thing I love about staying in a motel that I don't have at home. This unit location made internet access so poor that we had to give up trying
