Review 2:The host Signora Gianotti was very warm and attentive. It felt like staying at home of of friend or relative. Homemade food was delicious meals in garden outside were wonderful. Also really helpful with knowledge of area and suggestions for eating out, sightseeing, other towns to visit. Would recommend as a great base to stay and explore Chiusi and other Tuscan towns nearby.
Review 3:No emergency provision when the electricity and water went off during a storm . We had a poor breakfast and were unable to wash or flush the toilet. No reduction was offered.
Review 4:The organic farm, free bottle of olive oil.
Review 5:Nothing.
Review 6:My daughter and I had a lovely time. Paola, the owner was so helpful and accommodating. She prepared gluten free meals for me. Recommended great places to see and places to eat. She picked us up at the train station, made reservations for us and even drove us several places and then came back to pick us up. The Badiola is a wonderful place to stay.
Review 7:The entrance road was a little difficult to see at night. From the A1 Autostrada, you will turn left about 1 kilometer before Chiusi onto SP 326. Heading on SP 326, it is 50 meters past the intersection of SP326 and SP146 on the left. It is the first entrance road on the left past this intersection.
Review 8:An amazing place to stay. It was so beautiful, quiet, and serene, and the room was perfect. The owner was very friendly and took very good care of me. The olive oil and honey from here are the best I have ever had! I will always think of Agriturismo La Badiola when I think of Tuscany. It was very close to Chiusi and all of the sites to see there. I hope to stay here again on my next visit to Tuscany.
Review 9:No wi-fi,no hair dryer and the bed is very soft for me.
Review 10:I like the owner ,she take care us and pick me up from the station,I love light lunch , dinner, old style 18th-century building ,rooms have antique furnishings, organic lavender farm, quiet in the night.
Review 11:Signora Paola did not have WiFi yet for her guests, but she said she wasworking on that.
Review 12:Signora Paola picked me up at the train station and drove me to theagriturismo. After she showed me my nice sized room and privatebathroom, she served me a delicious vegetable soup that she had preparedalong with an egg and mushroom omelet, a vegetable mix she created andsome small stuffed peppers. The meal was a welcome change from thepanini s that I had been eating every day. During my stay at theagriturismo, her son, Allesandro, cooked some very delicious meals. Ihad mentioned that I wanted to try Pappadelle Al Chinghiale which isFlat Noodles with Wild Boar and wouldn't you know it, the next nightAllesandro had prepared it for me. Another night he prepared grilledchicken cutlets with porcini mushrooms that was so good I wanted to lickthe plate. Allesandro also made a delicious dish of pappadelle with ameat sauce that I enjoyed very much. I told him he should pursue aculinary career. I also got a chance to meet two wonderful couples whowere guests at the agriturismo. One couple lived in Milan and the othercouple were from Thailand. We always enjoyed our dinner especially withthe delicious homemade wine also made by Allesandro. The agriturismo wasa great base for me to visit surrounding towns in Umbria and Tuscany andwhen I would get back to the agriturismo after a long day I felt like Iwas returning home. Signora Paola would always greet me and ask me how Ispent my day. Sometimes, I was served breakfast and dinner outdoorsunder a lovely tent-like canopy. Signora Badiola would like a candelabraand other candles to make the dinners more enjoyable. If it was a littlechilly outdoors, Signora Paola wouls set the table that was in theliving room area outside the bedrooms. The breakfast croissants that sheserved each morning were always freshly made and always of differentvarieties.
