Review 1：Nothing, this was a great place. If you don't have a car, it may be more challenging as it is located outside of central Salzburg. Although I heard the owner kindly explaining the bus routes to another couple over breakfast. If you do have a car, the location is an asset - easy to get to the large old town parking garage in about 15-20 minutes.
Review 2：Really big hotel room with a nice table/eating area, mini bar, huge bathroom, lovely large balcony looking over the back garden, lake and mountains. Room spotless, new everything (the house is new) and comfortable. Wifi was also strong (and free). Breakfast was wonderful, all fresh, great selection of eggs, breads, fruits, meats, etc. I also liked that the hotel is dog friendly (reasonable EUR3 extra), though my dog wasn't able to make the trip with me.
Review 3：the bus to wals 3km away only runs every 2 hours at the weekend and stops early however the train on the other side of the river is much better we sometimes had to get a taxi from the nearby outlet centre for 10 euros which wasnt bad
Review 4：the staff were very friendly and helpful the building and rooms are beautiful the breakfast is really good train station in hammerau for getting to salzburg, munich, berchtesgaden the hotel 200 metres from the same family serves really nice food until 9.30 pm

Review 7：You need a car to stay here. It is about 10 or so minutes drive into Salzburg proper but we knew this coming in and it wasn't an issue for us. There is free covered parking.
Review 8：Lovely location on a small lake out of the main urban area. Quiet and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very pleasant. Close to a major resort for meals other than breakfast. Also close to the Panda a Chinese restaurant with excellent food.

Review 16：Service! Wow, just super nice service. The owner place a fan in the room because of the heat. The location is incredible-Close to Salzburg but away from the hustle with an amazing view! Excellent breakfast. The owner always had some local specialties on the buffet that she made. Wow! Nice omelette, fresh fruit: again much more than we could expect!!!!
Review 17：The staff was superb, the room immaculate, amenities both tasteful and supremely thoughtful, and breakfast delicious and peaceful. I loved every aspect of my stay there. Easily the best hotel experience I had in Europe.
Review 18：1) There is no elevator (but they were building one while we stayed there) so if you stay in the top floors (like we did) then you have to carry your heavy bags all the way. :( 2) The nearest restaurant / bar is either going to the neighbouring big hotel with restaurant or all the way to Salzburg. You definitely need a car to come here.
Review 19：House and views are lovely, very typical Tirol/Bavarian style. Place was very quiet and pleasant, waking up to lovely mountain views! The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a nice new bathroom. Everything was very clean. Breakfasts were nice and had a decent selection. Staff were very polite and helpful. Location is handy if you are using as a base to travel to nearby places for the day (Berchtesgaden, Hallein, Hallstat, Salzkammergut, Salzburg) as it is outside of Salzburg, but you need a car.
Review 20：The only think that's missing on the rooms is the air conditioning. And on that that of the beginning of July were 36 degrees on Salzburg. Other way everything was more than perfect! Congrats to the owners. They're was ironing even my shirt!
Review 21：Very nice atmosphere, in a typical hotel where you can feel the Austrian cordiality. Excellent breakfast, room very clean with a nice view. Easy to reach Salzburg by car in 10 mins.
Review 22：If you are without a car, it will be a challenge to get back from Salzburg on Saturdays (the service stops around 18) and Sundays (no bus service at all) - you need to walk 3 km to the main trolley stop. Other days of the week it was relatively easy and not tiresome (we were with a small kid).
Review 23：The hotel is family-run and it means that they treat you as their family guests (without exaggeration). The whole property is in a great condition, very clean, tastfully decorated in the local style, the view of the mountains and the lake is calming and soothing. Breakfast is superb, attention ad hospitality to the guests is well above what you'd expect. We've asked for a cup of tea in the evening as I had a sore throat and they even gave me Strepsils! Great people! The nature nearby provides for nice strolls along the Saalsach River, playgound for kids is nearby as well as ponys and goats :)

Review 26：Located in a small village outside the city of Salzburg, the hotel is not easy to find without a satnav. The absence of public transport means that you also need a satnav to find your way into Salzburg

Review 57：It is a perfect location if you travel for leisure. Just 5 mins drive from Salzburg in a very romantic small town in the heart of the Alps. I would definitely recommend that hotel and stay there again. The place is perfectly clean and comfortable and the breakfast is just gorgeous.

Review 68：Nothing. You might say that we stayed on the second floor and there was no lift, but then again with a hotel with only 10 big rooms who needs a lift! I guess if someone doesn't like steps can live on lower floors.
Review 69：We were very happy to have chosen this place for our holidays. It is an extremely clean place with an excellent breakfast for the money you pay. Very spacious room and nice beds. We had shower and bath in our room and it was very warm. The stuff was extremely helpful in everything and I would definitely go there again if I was to visit Salzburg. The location for us was perfect cause there was a very nice because it was out of the town and very quiet, near a lake and with always a covered parking place. This is not a city hotel after all!

Review 74：This guest house is beautiful and a place we would like to return to inthe future. The breakfast was perfect -- the staff asks how you wouldlike your coffee and makes eggs to your order. The jam was homemade andeverything was delicious. The proprietor helped bring our bags upstairsand gave us tips about visiting Salzburg.

Review 76：This was our second time back and between the location, the quiet, clean, cozy rooms and delicous breakfast you could not ask for anything more. The location is perfect as you are only 8 km outside of Salzburg and close to the mountains. You can also ride bicycles along the river on a path that runs all the way into Salzburg, then stop for coffee and cake at one of the many sidewalk cafes or rest on the grass along the river before heading back. We will definitely be back.
