Review 1：Rooms are a bit small and basic. Sound travels easily through the hotel corridors. Example - People came into their rooms late and thought they were conversing normally, it sounded like they were in the room with me.

Review 2：Great central location. Recently updated (unknown what year, but is nicely done). Good basic breakfast buffet.

Review 3：This hotel is a very good example for a bad hotel. No ( tissue/napkin), no body lotion, no slippers. Rooms are very smal with ugly furnitures. Laundries will take minimum 1.5 day. They promise that they have free bikes, well...you have to notify them a day in advance.

Review 5：Parking. Available under the hotel at 20 euros a night which is ridiculous or for a reasonable 3 euros a day to park on the street or a lot just about a block and a half away. The street parking was available most of the time however there is the very real possibility that you won't find parking at a busy time and will be forced to park quite far away. The truth is that most places in Ferrara will have the same issue as parking is limited everywhere.

Review 6：The location was good and the hotel clean though the rooms very small (to be expected). My room was dark and cool and very conducive to sleep though my colleague complained of noise above and beside his room which I could understand as the building is quite old walls likely very thin.

Review 8：it is a nice 3 star hotel, i am not sure it is 4 star it was fairly near the center, not right in it, but close enough, and walking distance from the railway station which was nice very clean and comfortable really nice included buffet breakfast, and with good service, in a large enough dining room to fit everyone easily when the hotel was fully booked, which it was. they had a free computer in the lobby for the guests, and that was great as the pocket devises and lap tops that everyone uses nowadays often are problematic. fewer and fewer hotels have these free lobby computers, and they are great when available.

Review 9：Astra Hotel is in a good position: easy to reach, even on foot, from the railway station and close to the historical centre. Good selection of fruits, sweets, savoury dishes and teas. Ferrara is a city full of interesting sites.

Review 10：i slept there quite a few times and i always enjoyed my stay. Large and clean rooms, free wi-fi, quiet at night, at a walking distance to all the most beautiful places in Ferrara.

Review 24：The bedroom was dirty, gloomy with no natural light. The blankets and bed clothes were old and below standard for a four star rated hotel and we both found a blood sucking insect in our beds.

Review 26：The reception staff were excellent and responded immediately to any query. They also provided us with a train timetable printed off the internet for our journey home and advised us advance booking was necessary. They also helped us to find the venue for a classical concert. The breakfast was excellent and there were tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom which was very comfortable.

Review 27：The hotel is old-fashioned decorated and the so is the furniture. They claim to good WiFi connection in every room which in reality is not the case. Although the breakfast is of reasonable quality it would not be asked to much to give it facelift. Especially the fruit section, much of the fruit sows aging spots, could really use this.

Review 28：Staff members weren't very helpful. The hotel is very outdated, and uncomfortable. The beds were very hard. It seems as if nothing has been done to this hotel since 1970. Very disappointed !!
