Review 1：one bed was double and the second bed was foldable so as we were 4 adults it was not so comfortable to sleep for 2 of us. WiFi could be better but I guess it's quite poor all over Sicily.
Review 2：The staff was generally helpful and nice, there is safe gated parking. The swimming pool is nice. Close to the beach although beach is not very nice so we preferred our pool. Also if you are planing to visit Etna it's a good place to stay as it does not take too long to drive.
Review 3：Nearby beach and main street were dirty and general facilities were very poor. Lack of bars and restaurants a big negative. Nearby supermarket closed at end of sept - a car is a must

Review 5：The apartment is very neat and comfortable. Ideal for parents with young children, It's 2 minutes away from the beach, and has a nice communal pool. Location is good, but only if you are travelling by car. Staff/owners are extremely helpful !! Definitely would book again on my next visit to Sicily!
Review 6：Beach and the neighbourhood part of town. In case 4 adults or two older children, there is only one king size bed and one sofa in the appartment, that is not very comfortable.

Review 9：Our vacation was excellent. The territory of the hotel is comfortable and clean. The pool is also very nice. The location of hotel is cosy. The street with shops and cafe is in five minutes. The sea coast is close too. Apartments are very comfortable. We’ve got everything we need. I would like to say “Thanks a lot” to the personnel of "Villa Galati". Anna - Maria and Gabrielle were very friendly and pleasant.

Review 11：Villa Galati is a new resort owned by very nice family. Facilities are excellent, rooms are spacious. We had a room with huge terrace with view on Etna. The pool is very clean. The stuff is friendly and flexible to all your needs. The location is perfect to discover East Coast. 40 min from Catania airport, 30 min to Taormina, 40 min to Etna and 1h to Etnaland. The car is mandatory. Resort is in Fandachello village which is absolutely non-touristic place. So, it is good opportunity to start learning Italian as almost nobody speaks English. The beach is just 1 min walk. WiFi quality is fine.
Review 12：It was hard to find the hotel even with the GPS; you better call in advance so that the hotel explains you how to find it.

Review 14：Mosquitos (ok not the fault of the apartment, but mosquito screens on the bedroom and bathroom windows would be helpful :-) --- just an idea for improvement. Neighborhood a bit run down, but this doesn't affect your stay - we felt safe at all times and the Villa and grounds are immaculately kept.
Review 15：Super clean, well equipped apartment. Very nice family and staff. Privacy and independence. Huge terrace with view of Mt. Etna. Nice pool and garden. Good Wifi. Private and safe parking on grounds. Small shop and restaurants close by (2-5 min walk). Ideal for exploring the area around Taormina and Mt. Everest, close to airport Catania.
Review 16：I wish they changed towels at least once during one week stay. But to be honest didn't ask for that. Mascali is really small and boring city. You have to go to Gardini or Taormina for a nice walk - it takes 25 mins by car. Beach very dirty (in May).
Review 17：Very clean, really nice staff, full equipped. Little garden for each room at ground level - great for small kid to run around. Clean and pretty big swimming pool. Quiet and peaceful - at least off the season.

Review 28：The Villa Galati Resort apartments are new, clean and very nice. Well-maintained, clean and guarded swimming pool shadowed by tall palm tress and olive trees. Only 200 meters to the beach with crystal clear sea. Landlady Rita and her young daughter Frederica are very helpful, nice and friendly. We were three adult ladies and one child (boy 5 years old) and the apartment with 1 bedroom and 1 living room with kitchenette was absolutely sufficient and comfortable. Fondachello-Mascali is very good starting point to make trips to Taormina, Letojanni, mountain Etna and other places of interest. Grocery, coffee shop and gelateria (home-made Italian ice-cream) within two minutes walk. To make the long story short: I strongly recommend this place, good value for money, quality and comfort guaranteed. We have spent there 6 days from 30 Aug through 6 Sep 2014. Review 29：Mascali is a very touristic town, especially in the summer months.
Review 30：Perfect place to stay in Sicily. Our spacious apartment had views of Etna, which were breathtaking to look at. Very big terrace to enjoy breakfast in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The pool was always clean. The location is perfect to travel around north east of sicily. Parking was always available inside the property.
Review 31：Spacious, modern, well-equipped apartment, comfortable beds, great view of Etna from patio, lovely pool. Beach, shops, restaurants all a short walk away. 45 min drive to Taormina, 1hr to Etnaland theme/water park, Catania airport and to Messina for ferry to mainland Italy.
Review 32：Difficult to find at night. For 4 persons sitting and sleeping furniture too little: only 1 bedroom, in livingroom/kitchen is only one sofa (which can be changed into a bed).

Review 34：-Mascali itself is a dump, the streets are full with rubbish and also the public beach is a garbage dump. We now all of Sicily and only in the surrounding of Palermo we have seen the same shameful things.

Review 37：Very nice and modern furnished apartment with all amenities, the kitchen is well-equipped. Our room on the first floor had a large terrace with wonderful view of Etna. In the garden there is a nice size pool surrounded by palm trees and olive trees. The pool is cleaned every day. During our stay at the pool was a lifeguard :) Villa Galati is close to the beach. Nearby there are shops, patisserie and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Review 39：Big modern apartment with an enormous terass and wonderful view of Etna! Well equiped kitchen, the garden was very well kept and the pool was nice and clean. The owner didn´t speak English but her daughter was always there to help translate. Good location for exploring Etna and Taormina!
Review 40：The coastline is great but the beach is full of trash, plastic, paper, cigarettes!!! Disgusting and depressing. We can't recommend the area because of trash everywhere.
