Reviews for Villa Adriana
Review 1:Villa Adriana was definitely the best accommodation that we had on our trip around Sicily. We stayed there for 2 nights. Adriana, the owner, was really kind and helpful with everything and provided us with a lot of information and tips about what to do, where to eat etc. The breakfast was more than enough and Adriana had every morning found or made us some special Sicilian treats, amazingly delicious. We have nothing negative to say about our stay, everything went smoothly and was great! :)
Review 2:Adriana was superb! More than helpful with directions, suggesting places and restaurants, etc. Always ready to make you feel more than comfortable. Accommodations are excellent. Every detail is there. I could´t find anything wrong. From breakfast to cleanliness, everything 10+. The beach is 100 mt away with dunes and sand (not pebbles or rocks like everywhere else in Sicily). If you're going to Agrigento there's no other place to stay!!
Review 3:Adriana's outstanding level of hospitality!!! Her encompassing advice was truly helpful to make our stay in Agrigento so memorable. Delicious breakfast in European style with local cheese, cold cuts and bread, crowned by self made jams and cannoli!!! Fact that we could combine our visit of the Valley of the Temples (just around the corner from Villa Adriana) with a stay in a seaside resort
Review 4:We stayed there for 4 amazing days. Adriana is an excellent host and the villa is very well kept and located a few minutes from the nice beach of San Leone. I recommend this accomondation to anyone who plans to visit Agrigento or Valley of the temples. The breakfast is a must have, all fresh and home made with some Sicilian specialties to top it all, it was very tasty and a lot of meal. Adriana recomended a lot of interesting places, helped us with parking (gave us very good informations). We really enjoyed our holiday there:)
Review 5:It was true pleasure staying at Villa Adriana. Adriana is an excellent host ,and the villa is very well kept and located a few minutes from the Beautiful beach of San Leone. I recommend Villa Adriana to anyone who plans to visit Agrigento.
Review 6:Nothing.
Review 7:This nice B&B is owned by Adriana. She is a kind and helpful woman, great english speaker. You can quickly see that that there is great attention to detail throughout the property. Brilliant experience and good value for money.
Review 8:We were greeted warmly by the owner who gave us great tips on places to see and eat. Very clean, comfortable, and spacious B and B. The location is right across the street from the beach with free parking. Very conveniently located close to the Valley of the Temples. Highly recommended.
Review 9:we (my girlfriend & I) stayed 2 nights in this lovely place, perfectly clean and newly refurbished complete with all kinds of amenities (wi-fi, TV, comfy balcony, fresh bedsheets and towels and a jumbo-size bathroom just for the 2 of us) 2 mins walking time from the beach 10 mins away from the temples. Adriana was simply great, giving us every kind of hint about the area as in restaurants, ice cream shops, beaches and tourist attractions. we were even allowed to borrow beach equipment like umbrellas and lylos. But most of all she gave us the best breakfast ever providing fresh delicacies from a nearby sicilian bakery every day.
Review 10:Adriana is very helpful and goes out of her way to make sure that you have whatever you need. Her accommodations are spotless. And the breakfast was superb!
Review 11:Loveable Adriana did everything to satisfy us. Nice and comfort room, warm welcome with cold icecream, every day changing tasty breakfast, maps and good recommendations for restaurants. And every day inspiring small talk. Thanks a lot Adriana.
Review 12:Nothing
Review 13:Right on the beach and as quick to get to the Valley of the Temples as from Agrigento. 100m from the beach and walking distance to a number of restaurants. The villa is clean, modern and the owner very helpful
Review 14:My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay in this B&B. The owner was a very gentle lady that helped us make the most of our short trip. The breakfast is a must have, all fresh and home made with some Sicilian specialties to top it all. And the location was perfect for us to enjoy the amazing Valley of the temples.
Review 15:Proprietor was ready with information and a map to enable us to visit the Agrigento archeological site, about 3Km away, and other local attractions. She was very pleasant and went out of her way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. B&B is in a quiet side-street near the beach. Pleasant restaurants and an outstanding ice-cream shop are within easy walking distance. The room was well-appointed and the TV had an English channel.
Review 16:We arrived just for one-day but what a day it was! Our room and the bathroom were very clean, fresh and comfortable and so was the rest of the hotel. No problem with wi-fi or parking the car although there was't much place in the street. But it was all about the Host - she is incredible. Her storries about Sicily opened our eyes to a completely new view of the Island and the Sicilians. You won't get that in any guide. Thank you very much! Recommend it to everybody!
Review 17:The owner was very kind and helpful. She helped us for discovering the area and gave advices. The room was very clean. If we go Agrigento again, we will prefer the same place.
Review 18:During our 12 days visit to Sicily, we stayed in various cities and places. I can say that by far Villa Adriana was the best among all. Adriana, the owner, is an extremely nice and tidy lady, with a very good taste, who cares a lot about how she operates her business. The rooms are well decorated and her choice of breakfast is exceptional. The place is highly recommended.
Review 19:nothing

Review 25:Good value for money
Review 26:Great breakfast, helpful staff, great advices, realy nice place to stay.
Review 27:Quiet location, close to the sea and Valley of Temple. Very clean. Nice and careful owner.
Review 28:Adriana is the perfect host! And very good breakfast!
Review 29:Very kind owner who gave excellent infomation about things to do in the erea.
Review 30:Great people and attention to all the details. I would say, you get the quality of a 4-5 stars hotel, at the price of a B&B.
Review 31:Great service and value for the money. We initially planned to stay one night, ended up being there 3 nights there.
Review 32:Excellent location, Adriana speaks good English, very knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms are large, modern and very clean.
Review 33:Quiet. Close to the beach. Excellent breakfast. Owner's english was good.
Review 34:Location was great. Adriana was an excellent hostess. She was very helpful, and always pleasant. Breakfast was outstanding.
Review 35:Adriana is a great host and the accommodations are lovely.
Review 36:Everything. Stop looking and book this B&B.
Review 37:the hostess is extremely nice , helpful & sweet
Review 38:Perfect owner,perfect location!
Review 39:Little noisy but nothing serious
Review 40:Perfectly clean, very personal, nice special breakfast, close to sea
Review 41:Wonderful and helping host in Adriana. Wery nice design at the B&B. Both beach and restaurants in Walking distance.
Review 42:A location is great: a beach, restaurants and cafes are nearby. And everything in this BB is just perfect. Thanks, Adriana!
Review 43:Very, very nice apartments, owners, place and city. Parking, beach are very close. Adriana is very hospitable and helpful. She explained, showed and assisted us to find all interesting places, beaches etc. in the city and around. Restaurants, pizzeria etc. are just 5 minutes on foot from apartments. We strongly recommend to visit this place.
Review 44:The beach was very close but not the best beach in the area.
Review 45:We stayed for two nights. We went to see the Temples and Turkish steps. Adriana was a wonderful host. Fresh homemade biscuits when we arrived, made us a savoury breakfast and made time to tell us all the best places to eat locally.
Review 46:Wifi is freaking out from time to time but easy to fix by switching off/on. There is a step in the bath - just be careful. During our stay it was noisy as neighbours were building smth (it's just an ordinary street with private houses or guests houses), the area and beach are not very clean unfortunately, not too many places to eat around. Towels are not white. The host prepares breakfasts herself but you need to ask her about that or you'll have some juice, tea/coffee and pastry, asking was not too convenient, would be great to know what is available and what you can ask for. But all this is easy to fix. When driving there be carefull as GPS often advises the wrong path through some dry river or swamp - as soon as you feel the road seems not good - turn back or it will be too easy to break a car (we had to take the stones out of the road to let the car go) or stuck there. The correct road is very good.
Review 47:The hostess is a pearl of this place - she proactively does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible, perfect English. She asks about your plans and advices the best activities and routes. The location - 200 meters from the beach and 10 minutes drive from the temples, 30 mins from the white rock - beautiful place Adriana recommended. Everything is new and clean, cozy, atmosphere of home with a couple of guests. You can take umbrellas and bikes for free. Lovely sea, the beach is wide and was almost empty, great ancient park
Review 48:None
Review 49:Perfect B&B close to the valley of temples. Adriana was extremely helpful and made scones and fresh bread for all her guests. Can really recommend it
Review 50:The only negative was we couldn't stay longer!
Review 51:Villa Adriana is a lovely B&B, clean, comfortable, good food, there is nothing to say negative. It is made superb by the hostess Adriana, she is helpful with advice on what to see, where to eat and made our stay very memorable. I cannot recommend highly enough.
Review 52:Villa Adriana was more than a B&B. It was more like a luxus hotel. Room was so nicely decorated and clean. We recommendt his place if you want a little bit of luxury. Owner was really helpful and we got a lot nice tips. This was the best value for money we have ever spent.
Review 53:It is a more expensive room, but you get a very friendly welcome, the room is very nice, modern and clean.
Review 54:Adriana who is the host of the location is very nice and friendly. She recommended a lot of good things to do and good restaurants to go to. The room was very nice. In my opinion this is more hotel like than a B&B and this in a positive way.
Review 55:Best Bed & Breakfast i ever stayed in! Parking free, way better ''base'' location then Agrigento itself, perfect breakfast, tips to go to places etc. Very nice and friendly owner.
Review 56:Spotlessly clean great bkft superb hospitality helpfull hostess stayed an extra night becsuse it was such a great stay great location to see Agrigento
Review 57:the place was very pleasent, and the owner was very helpful and kind. she gave the place a sense of home. her suggestions and directions turned out to be very heplful. we enjoyed our visit there very much.
Review 58:No dislikes
Review 59:Adriana is a first class hostess, pleasant, informative, and knows the area. You may rely on her recommendations on where to eat! An excellent cook who will serve you a fine breakfast. Our room was neat, clean and uncluttered. The B & B was easy to find and parking was no problem. For those of you who will be visiting the valley of the temples, be sure to ask where to park, not just how to get there.
Review 60:Bathroom floor on 2 levels. Shower cubicle very small. San Leone seafront rather scruffy with lots of graffiti, inadequate pavements on the sea front road into town.
Review 61:Adriana was very welcoming and helpful. Copious good quality breakfast (too much, actually) with home-made "extras". Easy parking, close to the beach, short drive from valley of the temples and Agrigento proper. Good restaurants within walking distance.
Review 62:We were among first guests this season, weather was changing from minute to minute (sun and rain), and our plans to be only two days in Agrigento was changed to longer stay only because of wonderful hostess Adriana and great welcome feeling we felt in Villa Adriana. Everything was perfect, warm welcome, beautiful room with everything you need, breakfasts, guidance to local attractions and restaurants ... we felt like this was our tenth visit to Villa Adriana, not our first. We only regret that we could not stay longer. But we will come back :-)
Review 63:Nothing negative to say about the B&B. But you should take care when parking on the street outside - we ended up with a lot of stratches from someone bumping their way out of the space behind us!
Review 64:Hugely hospitable host, carefully prepared breakfasts that varied day by day, a wealth of information about where to visit (delivered in impeccable English) and modern clean rooms make Villa Adriana the feel of a small boutique hotel more than a B&B. Location too far for walking into Agrigento, but if you have a car this is a far better solution than negotiating the parking and confines of the tiny streets of the town.
Review 65:Adriana is a wonderful hostess. Always ready to help. You feel treated like a friend. She makes the most wonderful breakfast ever. The places is very good situated, close to the center but tranquile. Good working airco, wifi, refrigerator. Just follow the tips from Adriana
Review 66:Long flight of stairs would have made it difficult to bring up our big suitcase if we had planned o stay more than one night.
Review 67:Adriana was very helpful. Easy parking for the car and close to the beach.
Review 68:Villa Adriana is tastefully modern, clean, and comfortable. Adriana herself is an excellent hostess who anticipated our needs and made thoughtful recommendations. The house is on a side street, half a block from the beach and a 10-minute walk from restaurants.
Review 69:It's across the street from the beach, really clean&nice, the owner is very client oriented and all her recommandations were excellent (restaurants, gelateria, what to see). We would like to go back and spend more time (we were there for 2 days).
Review 70:We highly recommend this B&B for the stay int he south of Sicily, it is literally across the road from a wonderful long and wide beach, very close to the town of Agrigento and it's Valley of Temples. The B&B is very small, but cosy, the staff makes the stay a very pleasant experience.
Review 71:We stay at B&B aug 5th night! Everything is perfect! The house is beautiful well located very close to beach. Walking 3 min. The room and bath room is very clean. And most importantly, Adriana the host of the B&B is super warm, nice. She handle the B&B and the guests with a lot of compassion! She recommended us perfect restaurant, gelato shop and places to visit. The breakfast that she prepared for us are wonderful! With a lot salty & sweet breads, home made cheese cake, jams. One word, our expensive at Adriana B&B is perfect! Definitive recommended and come back!
Review 72:Noisy bed, uncomfortable mattress. Очень неудобная кровать.Скрипит так,что будит тебя ночью от одного поворота и матратц жесткий с выпирающими пружинами. Бедный завтрак.
Review 73:Small private hotel. Very clean room, satellite TV - more than 1000 channels. Агриженто приятный городок,но не для пляжного отдыха,много каналов на русском языке.Ориентирован на немецкого туриста.
Review 74:The hostess of the hotel was really nice - she gave us advise where to go, what to see, even recommended a perfect place for dinner and what ice cream to taste :) Thanks a lot!
Review 75:nothing amiss
Review 76:Not immediately spectacular location but 2 minutes walk from the beach made this the best spot on our stay. Spectacular customer service as the owner got up to try and quieten down the 18 year old birthday party next door that was deafening the neighbourhood as well. To top it all, great value for money & best breakfast on the trip.
Review 77:Nothing to dislike. Everything was great.
Review 78:Location was great. A minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute drive to the main area of Agrigento & the Valley of the temples. Lots of restaurants close by & after 10pm, it was very quiet.
Review 79:Adriana takes great pride in providing a comfortable bed &breakfast. She was very helpful when I needed to find an open pharmacyon a holiday when almost all businesses were closed. We were verypleased with our room and the breakfast was very good. Fresh squeezedorange juice, and very well prepared foods.
Review 80:The friendly atomosphere around the house., The Host was very helpful with information, also very good breakfast and very clean house etc. we will recommend Villa Ardriana.
Review 81:The villa is two steps away from a beautiful beach. The interior of the villa is very fancy. Adriana is a perfect host. She takes care of the smallest details so that the customer is very satisfied. Nearby is a very good restaurant (Trattoria Caico) which has a rich wine menu. If you want an excellent white wine I recommend a Chardonnay from their list. Five minutes drive away is the Valley of Temples which worths to be visited for Doric style columns. I gladly recommend this place.
Review 82:Adriana was very helpful and serviceminded, and our room was nice and comfortable. The beach is only 2 min. away, and the breakfast was an experience in itself!
Review 83:Owner is superb.Map on arrival with information on places of interest. How to get there .Where to park.Recommendation of local restaurant.Shetook great trouble to produce an excellent and interesting breakfast. Ina side road at right angles to the beach and a short and easy drive tothe valley of the temples without going through the main town.
Review 84:It was hard to find as the street name had fallen off.
Review 85:Very welcoming, coffee and biscuits on arrival, we were asked when wewanted breakfast rather than told when it would be available. Thebreakfast had many homemade Sicilian as well as meats and cheeses. Wewere given directions to a very good trattoria for dinner. The locationis very handy for the Valley of the Temples, go round to the Eastentrance rather than the busier West entrance, the walk from the carparkis easier.
Review 86:No English tv in room - all Italian- No cnn or bbc wi - fi notcompatible with my pc.
Review 87:Very good location Quiet Excellent hostess Clean, comfortable
Review 88:I have nothing but good to say about Villa Adriana.
Review 89:Adriana is an exceptional host. Her many kindnesses, her knowledge and her personal initiative greatly increased the quality of my stay in Sicily. The Villa is very comfortable and well located; away from activity in Agrigento and close to the beach. Excellent value.
Review 90:Nothing in Villa Adriana. San Leone (Agrigento suburb in the beach) where the propriety is located has not enough shopping facilities.
Review 91:The owner was enormously warm-hearted and attentive to us. She so much helped us during our stay taking our needs and problems as her own. The room is clean, well equipped, design of the whole house is prefect and comfortable. Breakfast is very good and tasty contrary to a common poor Italian habit to serve it. The location is very good in regards of the beach which is very close to it as well as ancient and medieval monuments (Valley of Temples and the old town) available by bus whose stop is near the propriety.
Review 92:Excellent room with nice service. Good place for excursions
Review 93:Many thanks for Adriana. For her hospitality and good time at breakfast. Good service and warm owners. One day we come back.
Review 94:Check-in by 6pm, no staff afterwards. Bathroom was in another room, not inside our room.
Review 95:Home-made breakfast, kind staff.
Review 96:Nice, clean room. Very friendly host. The traditional breakfast was unbeatable.
