Review 1：Soundproofing is very bad which is the opposite to the description in the details. Luckily this only affect three days/nights otherwise we would have had to move out. Only one socket in the kitchen which had a microwave plug jammed in it so you could not use the kettle or the toaster. Patio windows dirty. Toaster broken (but replaced). Settee covers zips broken and seats looked very shabby. All the above reported to staff plus a few other smaller items.

Review 14：Everything was good! It was a wonderful holiday at Samira. I strongly recomand this location. You can see both mountain Etna and the Ionian Sea from the apartament.

They provided us with chairs and an umbrella for the beach, which was just a few meters from our balcony. Perfect location, including an excellent restaurant across the street. Review 29：The ‘private beach’ is a joke. The location on Sicily is nice, convenient location to discover the island. However the village itself is nothing special. Just 1 street with 1 or 2 restaurants and that is it. Compared to all the nice beaches on the island this is one of the less attractive ones.

Review 30：Good well equipped apartment, everything you need is present. The staff is very nice and helpful. Having a balcony at the beachside is amazing!

Review 31：There is no reception, so you need to negotiate your time of arrival in advance (maybe it is advertised somewhere but I did not see). As we missed to negotiate, we had to wait 1h for our guy to arrive on site and let us in. The other problem was that blankets were missing. Even when we asked the landlord to provide those, he only gave one. Maybe this is a local habit, as I talked to the other apartment`s guests they also missed the blankets.... The location is a "bit" out of town, so there is no corso, or any places to wander as usually you do in seaside leisure locations. This place is best if you have a car rented, as normal supermarket is kms far... Even though we were there at the beginning of the season, there were loud nightlife on Friday-Sunday, so I think that is even to get louder as the season goes on.... Well, as I write and read this it might seem that this apartment is a crap, but I must tell we had a wonderful time here, you just need to prepare for the listed things.

Review 32：Excellent value for money. Nice and clean apartment with extra large patio, and very good room layout (2 bedroom+living room for 6 persons). All rooms can be accessed separately from the patio, so you don`t bother anyone. Excellent sea view, comfortable beds. Fondachello is half way from Catania to Taormina, and also very close to Etna, so at least 3 main sights are reachable in less than an hour drive.

A new apartment building is being built there, not visible on the pictures posted on Booking.Com. When you are an early riser and like to go out this may be not a problem for you, otherwise be warned. NL: Afgrijselijk lawaai als gevolg van bouwactiviteiten bij de buren. Er wordt een nieuw appartementengebouw naast Samira neergezet. Als je van uitslapen houdt dan is dit niet jouw adres!
