Reviews for Seven Fridays
Review 1:No storage space to put your clothes, no drinking facilities (tea pot), no hair dryer, shower head did not stay in place. The worst thing was loud music up until 4am eventhough the pub is open until 2am. The pillows and bed were really uncomfortable.
Review 2:A massive bath, good location, close to city centre, the rustic feel of the room, secure parking.
Review 3:A bit loud in the evening because of the bar downstairs. But on the other hand, bar has nice drinks and whiskey tasting is worthwhile.
Review 4:Very convenient location. Room was small but the bathroom was huge with gigantic bathtub. Very nice during rainy day.
Review 5:There was nothing to dislike about Seven Fridays.
Review 6:First of, the staff was super helpful and patient. Whether it would be a hairdryer in the morning, a call for a cab, directions to the main attractions, or a need to watch over our luggage, they would always be there for you. Facilities were great, rooms furnished in a unique style, not to mention the Bar with excellent staff. 10/10. Huge Thanks to Seven Fridays to make our stay warm and memorable.
Review 7:The bar downstairs is apparently leased from the hotel. It seemed to close when they wanted, contrary to their website and Facebook opening times. Having said that, there are plenty of nearby bars for a late drink and the food (when open) is great and good value.
Review 8:Location, clean, comfortable, great value, local taxi number supplied for cheap taxi from airport and most of all communication via message and text.
Review 9:Location a bit far from station. About 15 mins walk
Review 10:Very nice and helpful staff. Good atmosphere with hotel bar. The staff helped us to call for a taxi so we can arrive airport on time:)
Review 11:Some building work adjacent with work starting early. Didn't really bother us but might others.
Review 12:Good value for money. Comfortable bed. Ideally located.
Review 13:The rooms are directly above a bar with a big beergarden outside, so it is very noisy until about 1 a.m. at night. Of course, you can have great drinks at this bar, if you do not mind having noise until that time. In the morning, construction work starts at 8.a.m.
Review 14:Very central location, very nice staff, a nice room
Review 15:Old-fashioned room. Good for a short stay but I will not consider it suitable for young children on more than a one night stay.
Review 16:We have to cross through the downstairs bar to go to the room but the kids found it rather amazing and funny. Despite the location it was really quiet. and no noise was heard. I like the high ceiling and the flowers on the balcony. Beds were confortable.
Review 17:There was no water in the morning. While this was beyond the control of the owners (no water in the whole neighborhood), they made no effort to bring a buckets or something of the sorts for us to do simple things like brush teeth and flush toilet. Also, after contacting the owners via sms (there is no reception) they took many hours to reply, by which time we had already decided to stay in another place for the second night.
Review 18:Wi-fi wasn't working and it was quite loud at night from the bar
Review 19:Very clean an tidy room. Perfect for the price. Very helpful staff and great location too.
Review 20:You should expect this place to be noisy as it is above the pub. We could hear music and people downstairs and outside on the street, but it was OK with us since we are not light sleepers.
Review 21:Perfectly located pub with rooms upstairs. Very traditional old-town building with big low windows, spacious rooms and big terrace/beer garden. We arrived very late but there was no problem with check-in, as Vitalijus was very nice and helpful, and showed up with the keys right after we texted him. Also, the pub downstairs was opened till late so we had a chance to have some drinks and even very late dinner after settling in.Definitely good value for money!
Review 22:Bath had grit/dirt in it when I arrived and the toilet rim hadn't been cleaned. Only 2 pillows for a double bed too (one was normal size and one was like a cushion).
Review 23:Awesome decking out the back. Fantastic rooms for what seems like such an old building, really modern and impressive room!
Review 24:but my room was near the stairs and it was so loud until 1 am, because of the bar that is situated downstairs. and after 1 am they were moving chairs. so it is not the best place to stay...
Review 25:the personal was very nice. the hotel in the old city.
Review 26:Very friendly and helpful owners who communicate in English, Russian and Polish. Downstairs there is a bar with good food and beer. Free car park 200m away and perfect location in the Old Town.
Review 27:I was cold, but just a little bit during the night, so warm pyjama in winter might be necessary.
Review 28:Communication was very good Location is exceptional Parking in locked area free of charge right in the center of Vilnius Free hot tea in apartment
Review 29:Yet another stay that confirmed my opinion that some (or many) Lithuanians are born anti-Polish and anti-Russian and they show it to you more or less directly. Since they know more than 5 words in English, they will never speak to you in Russian or Polish however they communicate in those languages better. Still, girl at the bar is cheerful and friendly :)
Review 30:Location - perfect, room - very good (huge bathroom with a jacuzzi-like tub), bar downstairs - classy british-styled pub
Review 31:Don't come to sleep to early - we came back at 2am and music from 2 (!) bars downstairs was very loud.
Review 32:Good location, helpful staff. Cheap price - you get what you pay for.
Review 33:The hotel is situated on the second floor and on the first floor there's. Bar with identical name. It happened that music was playing two nights long till 4 a.m during our stay
Review 34:Good location
Review 35:Crouded corridors and noice
Review 36:The place has not many room, but the room was fabulous. The bed is very long and comfy. the bathroom is the size of the room with a corner tub, just awesome. The owner met us and showed around the place. The bar downstairs didn't sleep till 4am, but we knew about it in advance. for this location is a great place
Review 37:some staff looked a bit unfriendly (they might prefer bar duty to doing something for the hotel guests) so needed courage to ask something during busy hours / wifi got spotty in the night
Review 38:sunny, spacious room with cozy atmosphere / charming building and patio / nice bar
Review 39:The only down side for me was one of the shower rooms had a broken holder so you had to hold the attachment. However as we had 3 bathrooms it did not impact on our stay. A fridge would of been good also.
Review 40:We were contacted by friendly text to discuss arrival time and to give us details of the best way to the 7 Fridays. We were greeted at the 7 Fridays and were shown around the entire site this was very helpful. We had 3 rooms in a self contained area which was nice all rooms had heating and free wifi etc. There was tea and coffee making facilities which was useful. The bars downstairs had what looked like a basic menu but after sampling the food it was anything but basic it was great. Large lovely portions and really tasty. A must! On the Saturday night they had a live singer from 11pm to 1.30am he was great. All in All if you want a fun place to go 7 Fridays is for you. If you want peace and quiet then look elsewhere as this place is lively. Just what we wanted. The 7 Fridays is close to most places in Vilinuis and there are great places to explore. If your interested in Football the Portabello is 10mins away.
Review 41:Apartments are perfect located, we can reach all the city sightseeing by foot. 10 minutes walk is situated 24 h supermarket. Also I like big bath and friendly staff of the apartments.
Review 42:nothing really, maybe a tv in room but not a negative
Review 43:location was excellent,2 mins from old town and bars, great being above a pub with english football and good food, other pub outside on the right was good,Wifi worked in rooms and bar area, cheap price and amazing bath
Review 44:It was a bit cold in the room.
Review 45:Bar on the first floor is very popular, rock music is playing till 4:00am, but it doesn't interfere with sleep. Food in the bar is tasty. Location is very good.
Review 46:The hotel was really the best u can get for the price, it was supercheap! And the stuff was extremelly helpfull :) The only thing is, a bit noisy because of the bar till1-2 am, when you're young you don't care but maybe someone could complain
Review 47:The room is good for the money but still very basic. Having 4(!) door keys is not convenient.
Review 48:Vitaly is a very caring and helpful manager, we found a free parking thanks to him. The location is great, just few steps from the City Hall. We actually liked having a pub downstairs - kinda a living room with a beer tap) It was also nice to find a hair dryer and a kettle in the room.
Review 49:We had a big room and a big bathroom, the hotel is right in the centre of Old Vilnius not far from the bus station also, and special thanks to the owner who did everything to make us comfortable, including helping with the heavy bags, calling us a taxi and waiting for us until 2 am because we arrived on a late flight (seems that they don't have a 24 h reception, but we didn't feel it at all).
Review 50:Seven Fridays in an excellent hotel in Old Town Vilnius. The building is a lovely old Franciscan monastery turned into a bar with rooms to book upstairs. The inner courtyard is probably lovely to enjoy a beer in during summer. The location is extremely convenient, it's easy to walk everywhere since the Old Town is quite small. I can understand that the bar downstairs might be of some nuisance to older couples who like to get to bed early, but for us, a couple in our twenties, it was no trouble at all. The bar is not open past 1 or 2 am, and the noise wasn't so loud that it would have bothered us or kept us awake, even when they played live music. In addition, the bar is very cozy, with both excellent hearty food and local beer. The man who runs the bar and hotel is very nice and helpful. He speaks good English, and as far as I know also Russian and Polish. The bar staff is also friendly. No complaints whatsoever, would gladly stay there again if I'm ever back in Vilnius.
Review 51:We were not so disturbed by the noise despite a band playing live until late because the room is quite sound-proof
Review 52:Great location in a very lively area, large room and bathroom, owner very professional, great value for money
Review 53:I liked everything, however, I thought it was unusual that I never really signed in or checked out of the hotel, if you want to call it a hotel. I showed no ID to get my room, the bar tender just told me to go upstairs and keys were in the door. They only have three rooms and I was expected. My experience felt like I was staying a friend’s house who likes to party. This is not your typical tourist place. I never got a bill. I tried to pay for the room with a 500 lat note, but they did not have enough cash is the cash register Sunday afternoon to make change, so I had to wait a little. Bring smaller notes, if you know where to eat and drink, Vilnius can be an inexpensive adventure. I bought meat, cheese, and bread from the local market on Bazilijony G. Packing a lunch helped extend my beer drinking money.
Review 54:From previous reviews I was warned that the place would be loud at night, and I was not disappointed. I picked this spot for the following reasons:• Adventure and active bar experiences with the locals• Original local food• Medieval lodging• Old town location on a quiet street• Reasonable price for room, eats, drinks; and friendly staffCompared to the 2 other hotels (Radisson Blu & Panorama) I stayed at during my trip to Vilnius, I had the best experience at 7 Fridays. The Radisson north of the river was beautiful, but impersonal, expensive, and a long walk to where the action is. The Panorama is moderately priced, but even more impersonal. I only stayed there, because it is across the street from the bus station. This worked for me because I had an early flight back to the USA. 7 Fridays is in one of the oldest buildings, an old Franciscan monastery, in Vilnius. If you want to experience old town Vilnius, you have to spend some time at 7 Fridays. I am a 67 year old guy who still knows how to take advantage of a good time. The bar is active to 4 AM, I know because I helped close it down Saturday night. They have piano, which the local’s torture throughout the night. My room overlooked the lively courtyard and above the piano. Since I smoke cigars, the courtyard provided me with an excellent experience, as smoking is not allowed in the two bar rooms. Because the establishment is old, do not expect the best in accommodations. Go to the Radisson for that. The bed was quite hard, but I got some extra blankets from the cabinets in the hall to soften up my rest. Everything always works best after a couple of local brews and a couple local shots of liquor. The place has three drinking venues: the front bar room, which is relatively quiet for conversation; the back bar room with piano and darts for a louder indoor experience; and the courtyard for foosball, smoking, and room for larger parties.
Review 55:especially thanks to Vitalijus who is in chaarge. Ver, very hospitable and acommodating. I have been in this hospitality business for over 30 years and a person like Vitalijus are very rare.
Review 56:If you're young and want to have fun, that's right place. Nice staff, great bar, live music and rooms at the same place. I wouldn't recommend it for those who'd like to sleep or looking for quiet place to stay. But still perfect option for active people looking for new acquaintances. Thanx to the hosts) it was great!
Review 57:Nothing
Review 58:The staff were very helpful and nice and for that price it is a wonderful location to stay at - walking distance from the main attractions in Vilnius! Definitely recommend it.
Review 59:A bit noisy until 00:30 because of the ground floor bar
Review 60:Friendly people, very nice structure, comfy room, nice courtyard to spend time meeting people and having a drink
Review 61:Would hav been nice to hav a fridge in the room. That'sgetting picky!!
Review 62:The on site manger Vitaly, was exceptionally helpful. Allowed for a latecheck out & searched for another place for me to land after 7Fridays was booked solid. Even insured the cab driver didn'tovercharged - they all attempt to - when I left the property. The pubnoise everyone talks about was quiet as a mouse on the second floor. Iactually liked the idea of a happening bar on the property which by theway is very historic. Wish I could hav stayed longer. I also had a queensize bed. None of that twin B.S. Other places make u endure in Europe.
Review 63:There was somewhat noisy at Saturday night because of the bar downstairs. There was no fridge in the room.
Review 64:Location at the very centre of the city. We were given all the necessary advices and instructions by e-mail and personally, includung telephone number of the proper taxi to get to the airport for a good price.
Review 65:Noise until very late such as 2 am. The primary reason I get a room is to have a place to sleep. You must be a very sound sleeper or a big drinker to enjoy this place.
Review 66:Nice owner. Large room and bath. Good location.
Review 67:The guy was very helpful and frienfly, he gave us all the keys and explained to us where to eat cheap lithuanian food, leave the car in their free parking until the time we need. Is upstairs of the bar but it is not noisy. Excellent value room-price
Review 68:friendly stuff, very central location, there is a pub and restaurant too under the apartments.

Review 107:bar downstairs, good location and very nice staff.
Review 108:Nothing all is great!!
Review 109:Very good location, ambiéce and people. Very nice staff and the owner is a great person!
Review 110:The worst hotel I have ever seen. Old furniture, unpleasant smell, out-of-date bathroom.
Review 111:Location
Review 112:Too hot, no air - condition....well for the price not bad.
Review 113:Location, resturants, beside the accomodation.
Review 114:There is a restaurant in the yard just under the windows. So it was very loudly in the evening and tonight.
Review 115:Good location in the city center.
Review 116:Location is just perfect and the personnel was very attentive! Parking was also available for no additional charge!
Review 117:We stayed for 1 night from Sun to Mon, so there was actually no noise whatsover, but potentially it can be very noisy. Wouldn't stay for more than 2 nights, but definitely good enough for a short weekend break considering the price. Didn't find the bar that appealing, been to better places in Vilnius.
Review 118:Very spacious room and bathroom, querky style, location, price, very friendly and helpful young man in charge.
Review 119:The hotel has a bar and restaurant - beautifully situated in the garden. Lots of flowers and greenery around. The owner of the hotel is very nice and helpful person. He also speaks Polish.
Review 120:there are 2 rooms - we were lucky to stay in room with very spacious bathroom, the other is nice but tiny. Looks like still renovating the room at time of writing.
Review 121:Great location walking distance to best parts of town Above a pub but not noisy. Enormous bathroom Modern decor of room Polite host
Review 122:No facilities, no fridge and EXTREMELY noisy, very loud bar just downstairs, not possible to fall asleep until 1am, crowds of people in the pub, regular problems with electricity.
Review 123:Is located downtown, not really expensive
Review 124:Place feels quite noisy, but after few beers it didnt hear a thing.
Review 125:Place was quite unique, basically it was bar with few rooms to rent. If you are looking for regular hotel, this is not your place. But, If you like to meet local people and have good time in warm atmosphere this place may be for you. Service was good, Mr. Vitaly was really friendly and helpful.
Review 126:The room is upstairs from the pub so I would not recommend it for someone who wants to stay for the weekend and have a quiet sleep.
Review 127:The person who gave me the keys for the room was very helpful, explained a lot of things how can get to places and come back, where I can get a good meal and ect.
