Review 1：For the price we paid, I expected the stuff in the room's fridge to be included, but they were not. I didn't really mind it.

Review 2：I appreciated basically everything. We came from Turin, 4.30h by car, we arrived there at 12.30pm and the suite was already ready. There were other two couples, and their rooms were ready too. Free parking was amazing. We only stayed one night, so we didn't use the gym or sauna. The room was beautiful. Big, with all accessories in the bathroom, towels, everything we could possibly need. We didn't hear a sound at all. The stuff was super helpful. Breakfast was included and there were a million of different things, it doesn't matter where are you from, because you'll find what you want. Really. The position was just perfect: a little outside of the centre, so you don't hear any noise, but close enough: the hotel offer a taxi service (5€ for ride), but there's the bus stop near the hotel. Cheaper and efficient. If you enjoy walking, it's about 15/20 minute. In front of the bus stop there's a supermarket where you can find what you need for the travel, prices are good. I will certainly return here for next Lucca Comics.

Review 3：The gym doesn't open until 9am so you cannot go before work. Equally it closes at 9pm so as we were working an event that didn't end until after 9pm you couldn't go after work either.

Review 9：Had a suite on the 5th floor with a private terrace with a great view of the surrounding area. Loved coming back to the room after touring all day. It was good to be away from the walled city for the night....and we had free parking. Staff was friendly and helpful

We found it a half-hour walk to the city centre, or an easy journey on the number 6 bus, which stops right outside the hotel every 30 minutes, and is very cheap indeed if you buy carnets of four tickets for Eu3.50 from tobacconists or the bus station office (but note the bus only runs until 8pm). Fantastic sunsets viewed from our balcony.

Review 16：The wifi only works well in "designated wifi spots" so not really in every room (we had to stay in a specific area of our suite, or sometimes outside the door to get it). The sauna is only open from 5pm - 9pm, once we went at 8pm and it wasn't on. The hotel is a 25 minute (normal pace) walk from Central Lucca, or a 10 minute (€10 euro approx, which does add up) ride, so bear that in mind if you're not a bike rider / walker.

Review 17：The staff here were extremely helpful and accomodating, from helping us book taxis to remaining open for dinner when we arrived at 9.50pm thinking dinner service at 10.30pm when it actually finished earlier. We stayed in a suite (1 double, 2 singles) and had ample space. The bathroom was a great size. It's a great hotel to go for if you like a chain and that familiarity - my mum does - as I don't think there's another chain hotel in Lucca, it is a SMAL town. There is a very good selection at breakfast (fresh Tuscan bread, hams, cheeses, eggs, bacon, warm pastries, spreads, fruits, cereals, and fresh coffee made to order, and the dinner is superb. We went twice; my mum actually said the best meat she ate on the trip was the hotel lamb.

Staff mainly nice and friendly. It's a bit far away from the centre but we knew that before so no surprise here. The hotel offers bike rental at a very affordable price.

A 1.20 Euro bus ride or 10 Euro taxi gets you into the delights of Lucca but you can park your car with ease and drive to other destinations without hassle.

Review 59：Has the potential to be a great Business Hotel but the location really lets it down as a Leisure hotel as technically it is located outside the city limits of Lucca and too far to be walking in and out of the centre of Lucca everyday. The first few days all the staff were very good but come the weekend there were different staff at the reception and the bar and none of them were particularly friendly or helpful. In fact Michael in the Bar was down right rude and ignorant and seemed to have a real chip on his shoulder. Our encounter with him really left us with a bad experience of the hotel which is a shame as out stay had started out reasonably pleasant.

Review 66：The hotel doesn't deserve 4 stars, it provides the basic 3* level. Some parts of rooms and the amenities had no renovation for a very long time. Extremely far from the town center (the hotel is just next to the road sign indicating the end of town of Lucca). The climate control doesn't allow to change the desirable temperature (can be changed only from the central location by the receptionist), almost impossible to have a comfortable temperature. Poor breakfast: wide choice, but very basic and unappetizing products; the coffee machine at the breakfast room provides the worst coffee I ever tried in Italy.

Review 78：Staff made several initial mistakes when I and my friend from the US arrived, even with my confirmation print-out that I gave to them upon arriving: 1) they said my room wasn't "available" - that they did not have a room for me - whereas I said that is impossible because I made an online reservation with my credit card and my time of arrival; then they said my room was not ready and to come back (it was past noon); they were very abrupt and rude. Then another person arrived from a back room, they talked to each other in Italian, they realized they had made a mistake reading my name, and said they had my room ready, (I can understand Italian so I was listening to their conversation). 2) When my friend and I got to the room, it had one double bed, not 2 twin beds as I had requested with my online reservation. I called the front desk from the first incorrect room, and they made us walk all the way back down to the front desk rather than have someone meet us at the 2nd room with the new room key card. The hotel was not busy and there were 4 people at the front desk. When I said to the front desk woman, perhaps you can provide a voucher for a free lunch for all of this aggravation, she laughed at me and said "you got a room didn't you?" I think the look of shock on my face made her give me 2 vouchers for a free drink. But it was not enough, and I was stunned at her rudeness towards me. We had lunch in the hotel for convenience, (one of the reasons I chose this hotel and not a B&B in Lucca) but my pasta had been microwaved. I know this because I live in Italy and eat pasta all the time; it seriously burned my lip, and remained this hot on my dish for a very long time. This is not pasta that was freshly cooked.

Review 86：Welcome of the staff very cold and showing that we were bothering them, especially when we asked for somebody to help us with our luggage that never showed, and we had to go find a cart ourselves and carry our luggage to our junior suites...The rooms were spacious and clean but not at all well kept. To top everything breakfast was served i the underground floor in two huge rooms with all the products for breakfast someone can find in a supermarket but is not supposed to find in a four star hotel...ready made liofylised coffee from syrup, same with chocolate, milk from a machine, fruit salads from cans, bad quality bakery products, the works. And last but not least a supposedly private parking where every body could come and go as pleased with no control, not anything to make someone feel safe while parking his car at night, and not at all sure that he would find it there in the morning. Lucca is a beautiful town of Italy, I have been there another four times in different hotels and I will go again, but never again to this hotel. It is damaging Best Western Hotels reputation, and your efforts to provide good services to us.
