Reviews for Best Western Regency Suites Hotel
Review 1:I suggest to leave at least a bottle of water into the fridge.
Review 2:Beautifoul place. Very Good welcome from the staff. Very clean. Big space and conforteable bed.
Review 3:11$ for the breakfast... Very expensive for what it is, but the hotel is really well situated with many cafés around with cheaper breakfast. But overall really nice hotel!
Review 4:The hotel is clean and recently renovated. We were in a suite with a bedroom, living room and kitchen. There were 2 TV (one in each room). Each room had also it's own AC, clean towels everyday, shampoo and soaps renewed also. The staff is nice and helful. Hotel is well located, beach is just accross the street and stairs.
Review 5:Excellent location by the beach on the Yarkon street. The hotel offers very nice and pleasant suites. We arrived with our 2 small kids and room was fitting our needs, wide enough to host the 4 of us. The room is kitchenette equipped with all utensils for self-catering. The hotel staff were also very polite and welcome.
Review 6:I liked everything. Just breakfast could have been a bit more for my taste, but this is very personal. I am sure the breakfast is excellent and copious.
Review 7:The location was perfect to go to the beach during the day and to enjoy the evenings, bars. clubs, restaurants and trendy areas, all walking distance. I also loved the staff. very kind, helpful and friendly. You can see the staff also help each other, to better service and also this makes you feel more at home, rather than in a franchise hotel. the rooms are very spacious and there is plenty of storage for your clothes and suitcase. Excellent shower.
Review 8:Great location - 4 minute walk to the tayelet and beach. Numerous good restaurants nearby. We walked to Carmel Market, Neve Zedek, Dizengoff, Ben Yehuda St.
Review 9:Great location near the beach, excellent suit with one separate bedroom and small kitchenete, ideal for families with kids. It'clean and comfortable. I also liked free coffee machine available at lobby. The personal is very kind, warmhearted and helpful. Free parking is a big plus too.
Review 10:Staff was really welcoming and helpful, great suites -perfect for 3 adults, lot of good restaurants nearby, good air con and wifi, tasty and free coffee, new beach towel every day. Recommend breakfast at the café 100 % Tel Aviv.
Review 11:Breakfast was not that good. Never seen a bowl of cold scrambled eggs before. Not sure how safe to eat that would be. Salads looked a bit stale as well.
Review 12:Modern comfortable room. Good bathroom. Central location.
Review 13:Night staff guy was totally creepy, he followed me to the parking lot, the room was disgusting, sheets had stains, tiles in bathroom were covering up mold! Wanted to take a shower and there was no hot water, after getting dressed my husband figured out that the hot water went on when turning on the cold faucet!
Review 14:Free parking was good!
Review 15:Room is a little small by American standards but we weren't in it much anyway so as a place to sleep and eat meals, it was more than adequate. Our room did not have much of a view, but again, we didn't stay here for that reason.
Review 16:Really friendly and helpful staff and we didn't need a car while we were here because all the restaurants, shopping and sights we wanted to see here were within walking distance. Parking is free below the hotel but don't rent a large car as parking spots are very tight.
Review 17:Like most of the hotels in Tel Aviv the "air condition" is a heating in winter and colling in summer. I visited the hotel in winter ->>> you have to open the window if you do not want to end up sleeping at 25°C + room temperature. Opening the window resulted in a guarantied wake up at 6 AM due to noise (in parallel: house building, beach reconstruction) . In addition there was a parking garage < 10meters away from my window. at this garage cutsomers used their horn at any day of my stay to get guard aware about their presence at 3AM or later AND a >500++ Watt light did directly point into my window for this garage pathway). My room was in the 1. floor. I had a guaranty to get aware about ANY call to the reception front desk ant ANY time of the night. The "full equipped kitchenet" turned out to be a mircowave with basic function.(no oven, no cooking) My summary: Never ever again this hotel. comment: 1) I am a frequent travel. This is my first negative rating to a hotel since >15 years. 2) For one night I got one of the rooms considered to be "upper catergory". This room had a window with a gap between window and wall in the size that I can put my complete hand between frame and outside -> noise. Same like my previous room this was a microwave only kitchenet. 3) My asessment: like other hotels in Tel Aviv, this hotel does offer rooms in Booking.com which are not offered on the webpage of this hotel (and these offered rooms in Booking.com are below the hotel standard quality). Proposing to verify my assessment by reading other ratings for Tel Aviv Hotels at Booking.com.
Review 18:The room cleaning service was of excellent quality. Nice bathroom. The bed was of very good quality. Window was sealed well (refurbished), but resulting in max. noise because you have no other choise than keep it open while night (see negative arguments)
Review 19:was a new room that recently gone thru renovation, so had some minor problems related to the finish of the work.
Review 20:Free parking 2 large rooms and 2 baths excellent location and close to many restaurants
Review 21:Couldn't turn off heat in room, so we had to open windows on busy street.
Review 22:Packed into a busy tourist area, this hotel provided a sanctuary away from the hustle yet offered a variety of activities close by. Staff very helpful getting us checked in with tons of bags. Lobby was helpful since we were with another family. Parking was a plus!
Review 23:Don't expect good views No noise-protection from outside. Windows are quite old and you hear all the honking and traffic. Cleaning can be improved.
Review 24:Free parking&Wifi Good location Refurbished rooms You seldom hear other guests
Review 25:The only problem we had was on arrival. The air conditioner had not been turned on and the room was uncomfortable.Turning on the air conditioner did not alleviate the problem. In addition the room was inferior to the one my sister was given which was charged at a lower rate. The man at the desk immediately offered us another suite which was larger
Review 26:The suite was modern, with a living room, bedroom and two bathrooms. It was a very comfortable space for me and my husband. The location was convenient, across from the street from the Tel Aviv boardwalk and beach. In walking distance from the center of town, Neve Tsedek, etc. Wifi is free.
Review 27:No complaints at all
Review 28:Everything.location right near a beautiful beach. Good restaraunts nearby. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate in lobby. Morning call right on cue....taxi waiting for us.
Review 29:They desperately need a swimming pool!
Review 30:Everything. Very roomy, clean, excellent accommodations and nice staff. Loved it and wished we had time to stay more than one night.
Review 31:we did not know that Mam was not included in the price you give us even that our adresse was clearly Jerusalem!!
Review 32:Great location with direct access to beach.
Review 33:Nice rooms, fully equipped with kitchenette; cost free towels for the beach; free coffee in the lobby; very friendly staff
Review 34:Everything. Lovely staff. Very good breakfast. Good location.
Review 35:Friendly stuff, Location is good, Tea & Coffee in lobby, Beach towels
Review 36:Location and parking
Review 37:great location roomy clean and friendly
Review 38:The new gym is fantastic. Quite a surprise. Better than most large hotels. Breakfast was very good, service was excellent.
Review 39:Excellent hotel one block from the beach Nice accommodation and all new
Review 40:The location was wonderful. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. We loved the coffee machine in the lobby
Review 41:The staff and especially Mr Moshe Kasimov is friendly and helpful. Parking place in the middle of Tel Aviv.
Review 42:a fast and good service comfortable rooms hotel with parking
Review 43:Wifi was being lost frequently
Review 44:The room was nice
Review 45:Staff at the hotel were very helpful. The rooms were good and the location was good.
Review 46:The kitchen, centrally located, clean, friendly staff
Review 47:Everything
Review 48:The wonderful friendly staff, particularly at reception. Could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Always went out of their way to help.
Review 49:Una habitación minúscula
Review 50:LA amabilidad de los propietarios
Review 51:Breakfast wasn't free, but was very average at best. $11.
Review 52:Location, staff
Review 53:Room was very good , location , and , personals always helping in everything since purchase a tour to ask for a taxi
Review 54:Location is excellent ,free parking and free wifi are a must for us when travelling.the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly
Review 55:That it's too far away from home ;-)
Review 56:The location is superb :-D
Review 57:Friendliness of staff, location and value
Review 58:Very professional staff, excellent location, very accommodating (theylet us keep our room til 5.30pm on day of departure for no additionalcharge). Lovely room, newly refurbished with all new appliances. Freeparking right in centre of Tel Aviv
Review 59:Only the 1st floor is renovated. The rest of the rooms are in good condition but oldish. All rooms at the same price, so you never know... Breakfast is not included in the price and rather limited, everyday the same. No swimming pool
Review 60:There is a coffee machine in the lobby. Great to have a freshly brewed coffee in the morning! Excellent location, close to the sea, car rental is just oen step away in the same building.
Review 61:the view on the parking of isrotel tower
Review 62:location, free parking, small hotel for Tel Aviv but very comfortable. Big suites for a family it's perfect.
Review 63:Some rooms renovated, some not. Construction noise outside was mildly noticeable during the day when windows closed.
Review 64:Large rooms, suite, kitchenette with refrigerator. Location near beach and within easy walking distance of most sites. Close to our favorite street Borgrashov with great restaurants.
Review 65:However,there was construction above our heads that was very bothersome during the day starting at times at 7 inthe morning. We were not able to relax when we wanted in our room and our sleep was disturbed. We were NOT told in advance that the constructin would be above and I had specfically requested a very quiet room as my husband had an important presentaiton. They did give free breakfast when we complained, but really what we wanted was a quiet sleep and room. It was not good that we who requested quiet room were put in this room just below construction. Not pleased at all by that.
Review 66:Staff was very helpful and accommodating despite the noise problem we faced. Location is excellent.
Review 67:The Hotel Parking overflowed with rental company cars (Thrifty) that also blocked the exist. I was delayed 10 minutes waiting to be able to drive out in the morning. Coming in I had trouble finding an empty space.
Review 68:Free underground parking - was the decision factor for choosing this hotel.
Review 69:OK in general, but not great. Aircon was disabled (March 2014) so need to open windows and listen to all street noise at night. View to the parking lot. Breakfast humble (by Israeli standard). TV in bedroom not working. Not very clean. You can find better deal for same money.
Review 70:location OK Free parking . Big room. Staff friendly.
Review 71:The first room I received was bad- bad furniture, bed and the kitchennette was in the bedroom and the bathroom was in the living room!!
Review 72:The place was in a great location. When I first arrived I received a room that was very old and the furniture and bed were very uncomfortable. But when I asked to move to a different room the front desk clerk gave a a brand newly renivated suite that was magnificient!
Review 73:Everyone was so friendly, helpful and accomodating. Free parking, use of computer, coffee. We would definitely visit this hotel again and tell friends and family about it.
Review 74:room was small, view on the parking lot, well used furniture, cramped bath room, not at all 4 star, too expensive for what it is!!!
Review 75:not far from the beach and promenade
Review 76:The staff was a bit stiff (except for the lovely South African lady at the front desk). The man who repaired the coffee machine used his mouth on a tube and then put it in the milk carton. Needless to say, no coffee for us after that.
Review 77:The location was only a block off the water. The beach in front of the hotel is great and has some playground equipment for children to play on. The suite was big enough for our family of 5 (we brought a small air-mattress for our youngest, age 3, and the 6 and 9 year olds shared the pull out couch). We were only in the hotel to sleep so it fit our needs. There's a little market near by to purchase food and things if necessary.
Review 78:Bathroom was not cleaned properly.
Review 79:The desk staff were fantastically helpful and friendly. We had two rooms (2 adults and 2 kids), kitchenette and a huge balcony with a sea view. Great position for the city, beach and a lovely walk to Jafo. A kettle with tea, coffee and milk in the room were welcome. A free coffee machine in the lobby and free access to a computer.
Review 80:I can't image why anyone other than perhaps a Russian tourist wouldwant to go to Tel Aviv for a vacation. Beach was effectively a giantashtray filled with billions of discarded cigarette butts. Area aroundthe beach was filthy and run down.
Review 81:Hotel had better facilities than most other hotels that I saw in thearea.
Review 82:Minor issues with room, nothing major.
Review 83:We were very comfortable at the hotel. The staff were very helpful, they accommodated us when our plane came in very early & were generally kind and patient. We would stay here again. It was great to have the beach right across the street.
Review 84:Was under construction-- of course they dont tell you when you book--Bookings .com needs to fix this. The rooms are VERY old and require updating badly. No ventilation in the toilet /bathroom at all. window did not open. When renovations are complete, will be a geat place.
Review 85:Staff were exceptionally helpful and aware.Good location 1 street offthe beach. Owners really want to make a go of this place. Free Paking isa big plus. Although their dining room was being renovated they madearrangements for breakfast at a great restauraunt on beach main drag---fabulous food, and when there was a line to get in, a hotel manager offduty happened to see us and walked us right in. Great observation andcustomer service.
Review 86:The décor was dingy, more institutional-like than hotel-like and notwhat you'd expect from a hotel at that price. Example: torncarpets in elevator. Breakfast was not included, whereas it was atevery other hotel we stayed at in Israel, and for less money. Therewas an option to purchase breakfast voucher for a nearby café for $12usd per person: this did not compare in value or variety to otherhotels where we paid the same nightly rate (or less) and had beautifulbuffet breakfasts included. The suite was spacious but lacked thefeeling you'd want in a hotel. Similar to a Best Western you'dfind in North America beside a highway than the charming Best Westernswe've stayed at in Europe.
Review 87:Excellent location, spacious suite
Review 88:The hotel is a bit dull and not of the quality one would imagine for theprice paid. Our suit was quite dark (faced a side street). Rooms are notas spacious as they show on photos. The kitchennette is tiny, with noair ventilation and no preinstalled cooker. If you request, you get amicrowave oven and a cooking plate (old and barely working!) but do notimagine you can cook the whole meal there: you get very basic crockery, very few things really. There are some renovations going on in thebuilding and around it that produce a lot of noise during the day time.If you have kids who nap during the day, it becomes a problem. Due torenovations we also experienced problems with hot water: sometimes ittook about 15-20 minutes of running water before it became hot. If youhave a naked kid waiting for a bath, agan, not the best option. All inall, I would say that the hotel does not deserve its excellentpersonnel! Any problem or request you have, they will fix!
Review 89:The staff is excellent - the best part of the hotel. Many thanks to allof you, guys! Every single thing we needed, was answered efficiently andpleasantly. The location is good - very close to the beach.
Review 90:No breakfast facilities while I was there Construction noise whileI was there
Review 91:Proximity to beach They will store your bas for free Free calla chinosand coffees in lobby They moved me to a higher room so there was muchless nose, and gave me a free night
Review 92:This time around there were construction works both in the hotel (mezzanine) as well as on the building next door, which were quite intrusive in the morning (7:30). Towels are quite thin, but OK.
Review 93:I have stayed here several times, and the staff is very good, price/performance is excellent, rooms are comfortable and the proximity to the beach is a big plus.
Review 94:This hotel is situated very close to the beach but not on the first line which is good cause of noise from the road. Very good staff is always glad to help.
Review 95:Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was excellent
Review 96:Extremelly nice staff
Review 97:nothing
Review 98:This is a very friendly, efficient hotel in a superb location close to the beach and the rooms are very comfortable.
Review 99:too small blanket for two persons
Review 100:location
Review 101:no hot breakfast available yet, construction in process to create new area.
Review 102:across the street from the beach, close to shopping and restaurants.
Review 103:No view from the room.
Review 104:Friendly staff. Free carpark.
Review 105:Hotel very difficult to find (small sign), and parking free but very tight!
Review 106:Good sized room for the price, free wifi
Review 107:Construction
Review 108:Location
Review 109:No hot water, bit run-down hotel, strange smell in the room.
Review 110:Hotel is good value for money, clean, comfortable, but staff at reception desk is amazing and very kind and helpfull.
Review 111:could be a litle bit cleaner...
Review 112:Everything was grea, the size of the rooms, the staff, the area
Review 113:Everything was just great! Huge and comfortable suite, lovely staff, good price and good position.
Review 114:A Little bit noicy in the morning as they were renovating Close by.
Review 115:Nice and helpful staff.
