Review 3：Huge bedroom. Huge variety of food at breakfast. Amazingly friendly staff. The hotel location was ideal, on a buzzy pedestrian street inside the city walls. And it was so close to the bus station that we had almost 'door-to-door' transport from Pisa airport.

Review 16：Oddly, although the bathroom was well equipped and there were plenty of towels, there were no wash cloths. Maybe this is an Italian idiosyncrasy, we stayed at a hotel in Quinque Terre and there were no wash cloths there either.

Review 71：It's a 4 star central hotel in a traffic free zone so very peaceful particularly at night. The staff are friendly and helpful and suggested and booked us a table at a delightful restaurant called Giglio (lots of choice as I like fish and my husband beef)in a square near to Lucca Cathedral.

Review 72：1. One recommended restaurant made us feel like tourists. We're very quiet and inoffensive and it takes a lot for us to complain. The All'olivo restaurant thinks it's better than it is, we felt like they were looking down their noses at us, and the food wasn't that good anyway. 2. One of my wife's socks was scooped up in the bed linen and lost. The staff didn't seem to care, and it wouldn't have been a big deal but they were borrowed and rather nice thermals! Really not much to complain about.

When we returned in the evening we had a drink served in the lounge area but the seating wasn't comfortable or well thought out.

Review 75：The location was excellent, just on the edge of the old town with it's own convenient car park around the corner. Our room was a good size and overlooked the front. Very clean. The use of the hotels bicycles was excellent, maybe they could do with being a bit better maintained but goodfun and a great way to see the town. You can walk everywhere too as very few cars go into the centre.
