Reviews for El Oumnia Puerto

Review 1:Not worth the money, definitely. Heating not working -although much needed during the cold night I was there- uncomfortable mattress, very noisy. The receptionist wouldn't even apologise for making me go up to seven th floor and down again tow times before changing the room as the key card was not working; the staff serving breakfast were not the nicest either, they would just throw your order on the table without saying anything...very disappointed.

Review 2:Easy to find, but at what price..

Review 3:We had a bad experience checking out. The two front desk agents were rude to us. They even did not want to explain the charges. We spoke to them politely both in English and French, and one of them was probably cursing us in Arabic. She even told my friend off, when we were actually talking to each other and not to her. I was also disappointed that the first night was charged to my credit card (which incurred extra charges because of the exchange rate) when I specifically told the front desk agents at check in that we would all pay separately for our rooms by cash. It was very disappointing.

Review 4:The wifi was very good.

Review 5:I went once to the hotel restaurant, it was lunch time but service was very, very slow. And I was almost alone... Room was quite noisy because of the traffic on the "corniche", despite being the window looking the backyard...

Review 6:Good position, close to Tangiers town beach, some 20 min walk to old town.

Review 7:Breakfast was very very poor, having two staff for around 150 guests is not enough. Hearing same music outside your window every night gets a bit too much as well. Beds hard as stone. After two nights into my stay they suddenly and without asking put a third bed into my room for no reason.

Review 8:Locatieontwikkelaar is very central, ok site rooms.

Review 9:The room smelled of sewage as did several public areas including the dining room. The replacement room was next to the flat roof which housed the central a/c very noisey The smell was also in the street outside. The breakfast was poor.

Review 10:I visited during last week of Ramadan, however breakfast was laid out in the morning and the bar and restaurant opened later in the evening, super events laid on (famous guitarist) well supported by local population. Very enjoyable stay.

Review 11:The breakfast buffet didn't seem very well attended to and there were flies all over the fruit. No hot tub but it's Africa so I suppose that's not a big deal!

Review 12:Nice outdoor bar by the pool. Rooms are clean and very nice. Excellent value.

Review 13:The staff are inattentive, unhelpful, and not very pleasant. The entire hotel smells like cigarette smoke, especially in the evening. The breakfast is very mediocre by moroccan standards, and the hotel is getting a bit tired looking. The price is reasonable, but it is no bargain.

Review 14:The location of the hotel is convenient, close to the beachfront, and walking distance to the medina and lots of restaurants.

Review 15:lights went out in the room on second day never got mended just loads of excuses. so moved Hotel Lots of street noise in the night car horns etc

Review 16:Location, Pool area, wifi, tv and staff. All good

Review 17:Cleaning lady knocking on door at 10 am to ask for check out (check out time is at 12 so nobody should be asking me to check out earlier)

Review 18:Room clean Location excellent

Review 31:Reception staff were impolite and rude

Review 32:Tanger is not a very tourist orientated city

Review 33:The people are the best

Review 34:Communication in English

Review 35:Kindness of all staff

Review 36:The fact there was an awful stench outside the hotel and the bad odour carried inside the hotel. Also the suite window could not be opened because of it. Occasionally it even carried its way in via the air conditioning unit, which wasn't in top form.

Review 37:The staff was excellent as was the location.

Review 38:100 DRh for parking inside the building while 10 DRh suffice in the street behind the hotel

Review 39:Kind personel, clean, confortable room, good breakfast although nothing fancy

Review 40:The Saturday night club could be heard from our room until the wee small hours.

Review 41:We had a grand suite which had its own small reception area and two good sized bedrooms. The pool was also a good size and only ever used by us, particularly the kids.

Review 42:The floor of the pool looked a little dirty from the balcony. Needs cleaning.

Review 43:The entertainment in the bar and the nightclub. The pool was small but adequate. The rooms very clean. The staff polite and obliging. The owner always there taking care of things. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. Location close to Tangier Centre.

Review 44:The hotel seems a bit understaffed, so rather than waiting for roomservice better do things yourself

Review 45:The location is quite central if you are on a business trip, the staffvery nice and cooperative, the breakfast rich and generous, the bedscomfortable and clean and the internet works very well. A businesstraveler's heaven if I might say.
