Reviews for Mangrove Lodge

Review 1:The food wasn't that good

Review 2:Really loved this place, stayed here for 4 nights. It's a fishing/mangrove community and all the money goes towards conservation off the mangroves. It's so remote and quiet it's a good way to relax after being in places like phnom penh/sihanouk.

Review 3:You need your own transport ideally a motorbike to get around as it's in a very secluded location. It isn't sign posted so you need to know where you are going or find a driver who does

Review 4:This is a beautiful, secluded, rustic choice, good for independent travellers.

Review 5:Unkempt bathrooms. Not very private, family and locals constantly passing through. Scetchy bridge walkway to bungalows.

Review 6:Very friendly family. Delicious food. Serene environment.

Review 7:We booked with booking and they were not in contact with the lodge. They were over booked and we didnt have a room. the staff was very good about taking care of us and trying to fix the problem that booking.com had created. we were one of three groups that had this problem. It was not the lodge but this web site. very unhappy with booking.com

Review 8:This lodge is a diamond. I loved staying here. It is my new favorite in kampot. Cant wait to go back. They made us feel like family and took great care of us. They meals that they cooked us were great and cheap with lots of food. The rooms were big and nice. The only thing that was a down side was our room didnt have a fan but otherwise i would go back in a heart beat. Thank you mangrove lodge staff. cant wait to go back.

Review 9:We book beforehand but when we arrived at 9pm they were full. Also, there was loud music that could be heard from far away, while in the descriptions it said that it would be peaceful and quiet. The staff was not very sorry and helpfull after that.
