Reviews for La Pia Dama

Review 1:Staff has more to familiarise with foreighn language.

Review 2:Rustic typical tuscan house, old historic context even if a bit suffocating.Vast Inside my room was dark from one side bright the other with view.Good breakfast, vast assortment to make shopping.Safe and covered parking.Pretty Sinalunga.

Review 3:Just wonderful place, service and atmosphere. Beds very new and comfortable, all clean and well presented. Very friendly to children...with well designed pool and gardens.

Review 4:The motorway is just nearby and while you cannot hear it from the room, you can see it and definitely hear it when you are outside and also when you try to relax around the pool. It is a real shame bug i understand that nothing can be done about it. The pool could do with a little bit more cleaning, especially the kids one.

Review 5:The service was very good and courteous. The lady at reception (Daniela) was eceptionally helpful and nice. The placevis really nicely done and the room was very spacious and grand!

Review 6:Bed was quite short and we are definitely not tall. Someone 6 feet tall or taller would have a hard time sleeping in that bed. The bathroom smelled a bit damp and the "shower cabin" was two brick walls with a plastic shower curtain for the "door". There was also a bathtub with a handheld shower head, so we had two uncomfortable choices. Wi-fi was quite slow and unreliable. Breakfast consisted of white bread, ham, fruits and yoghurt - we opted to eat out on the town. For 70 euros per night you can't expect luxury, but still the price/quality ratio isn't very good. The place is very promising and full of opportunities that have'nt been fulfilled, yet. In our humble opinion, a comfortable bed and a good shower are the most important parts of accommodation, pretty much everything else can be dealt with.

Review 7:The staff were very friendly and nice. The owner, by her own words, doesn't speak but understands English, so knowing a few words of Italian takes you a long way. We left our laundry at the reception and got them back the next morning washed and ironed (and scented, which was a not so pleasant surprise). But they charged us just 15 euros for 8 shirts, so can't really complain. The yard was very nice and had a gorgeous swimming pool. Unfortunately the pool season hadn't begun so we didn't get to try it out.

Review 8:Some difficulty to reach by car (signs at the main roundabouts/crossroads would help...

Review 9:Free parking, location, price/quality ratio, privacy, pool, staff

Review 10:connection to the main road. inner backyard not so nice. the staff don't know english well.

Review 11:its an old castle, the room are Heterogeneous and very special / interesting. butifull pool.

Review 12:- staff (kind and professional) - value for money (large room with all needed facilities) - wi-fi perfectly working - building and terrace and swimming pool - perfect to relax and ideal location to visit the beautiful surroundings (Val d'Orcia, Cortona, Arezzo, etc.)
