Review 1：Air conditioning didn't work. There was mold in the room and bathroom (results in unpleasant smell). "double bed" means they pushed two single beds together, which moved apart if you lay in the middle, or sit against the bed head. Elevator doesn't work, apparently has been broken for many months.

Review 2：Price was ok, location is also acceptable, especially given the price. Swimming pool is in good condition, with a variety of utilities.

Review 3：We had a lovely room - spacious and quiet with a wonderful sea view . The staff was always smiling . As we only left late in the afternoon, they allowed us to have a late check out with no additional costs. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one day.

Review 4：I have spent a few days in this hotel last month. Worst issue is braekfast with unfresh products, green eggs and not very good smell ham. Housekeeping coming to the room without knocking. This is very frustrated me and my family.

Review 6：We don't like nothing, because the common areas of the hotel are very neglected and filthy. This was awful for me and my family.

Review 7：I be honest nothing, because you can't fin any activity for children and when we had a shower the water doesn't throw quickly and the bathroom is flooded,hotel is really old

Review 8：We requested a King size bed and we got two small ones together so we felt few times in the middle of the bed or we moved because our bed had wheels .

Review 10：The only downsides were maybe the management could increase the maintenance budget. Not all the A/C worked and we had a problem with the plug, shower control and safe. To be fair to the hotel,when I pointed out the problems they were all resolved quickly. It's a big hotel and I'd expect at least two but I think there was only one maintenance guy who also did the minibus runs. Finally there is is one barman who is a bit too stern and comes across as surly. Wouldn't hurt for him to smile and not crash about so much when making coffee. Finally it would have been great to have wifi in the rooms instead of patchy service only in reception.

Review 11：I think that the front desk people were very helpful in resolving any issues and one lady recommended a great restaurant on the last night. I saw two members of staff deal very calmly and professionally with a horrible German woman who was ranting and raving about something. She honestly needed sectioning. The little older bar guy was cheerful and friendly too. Ample car parking and an easy hub to get to other places. Finally all credit to housekeeping they did a great job every day ensuring we had a tidy room and clean towels.

Review 12：The service was under the expectations. I booked the room trough the app, the system does not asked for a credit card and the receptionist said that was my fault. The main issue was with the bathroom, just a small shampoo and a soap. The mini-bar was empty, there are not reference for use the phone internally in case of needs, there was not a pen too, to write my feedback directly to them.

Review 28：My daughter and I enjoyed our time at hotel califfo. We were there for 12 days and the hotel was very clean and the staff were fantastic from the desk staff to the cleaning and catering staff. They definately stand up to their 4* rate although the staff are of 5* The hotel is in a good location with a large supermarket, bars and restaurant across the road and the city centre (for shopping and touring and lots of restaurants and cafes) was only a bus ride away as well as beaches and other immunities. The hotel restaurant is very gourmet. They can cook to your specification with pre requests and the food is very tasty and the restaurant is very beautiful and caters for families/romantic dining in experiences. Continental breakfast is also held in the restaurant and they provide a good range, which is healthy and energising and salads were provided on requests, so we didn't really miss the cooked english breakfasts we thought we would :) Wifi around the lounge and terrace area was great. There are plenty of seatings in the lounge area for privacy and plenty of 'me time' without interruptions when using the internet either for work or personal

Review 29：The facilities (building and decor) are dated and the air conditioning was not very effective. Although the staff were well intentioned, they did not seem knowledgeable of the local area or able to relate to the needs of a family with a toddler (ie: restaurant recommendations). The baby cot supplied was entirely inappropriate: the mattress lay at an angle, the mattress was extremely soft and the wooden structure was flimsy. Luckily we had brought our own.

Review 30：The pool was a plus as there is no beach access near the hotel. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and spacious enough for a baby cot. The bathtub was nice and large. The location is convenient to the airport in Caglieri with a car.

Review 31：Cagliari in general is dirty. The beaches are brown and full of garbage. I would not go back because of this. At the end we decided to stay at the hotel's pool as the only way to get to a decent beach was one hour by bus which was always full (and with a frequency of once every hour and a half, one day we have had to wait 3 hours to come back from the beach, which was a very unpleasant experience).

Review 32：The hotel was very old but looked after so if you don't look at the furniture it is a nice hotel. The pool was clean and calm as there was almost nobody. The last night the hotel organized a buffet by the pool which was very romantic.

Review 36：The hotel has a very practical position if you come by car, and want to explore southeastern Sardegna. It's a fairly low price for a 4-star hotel with many facilities. It's not a brilliant 4-star hotel either, but the rooms are clean and ok for the price.

Review 38：Luca Lorenti, one of the receptionists, was very knowledgeable, helpful and amicable. Also, the waiters at the restaurant for breakfast were friendly and the cleaning staff as well.

Review 39：The room had a musty/old smell once you opened the door. We opened the windows for air flow right away. This would not be a solution to the problem as there was road noise and you could hear the humming from the pool pump. The air conditioning did not seem to be working? We turned it on and went out for some sight seeing. We arrived back about 11pm the room was hot. We went to the front desk to ask. They said they know it is not working on that side of the building - only during the sunshine hours ??? We were offered to move to a smaller/older room in another section of the hotel where the a/c would be working right away. We have never experienced this in a 3 star OR any other place we have stayed in during our travel experience. They should make the guest aware of this situation upon they check-in.

Review 41：hotel is localised far from the town centre or beach so it's necessary to take a bus or a car to get there, it's also hard to find a good rastaurant or pizza place nearby (the one close to hotel is a disaster), breakfast could be better,

Review 47：The hotel does not have many of the services it advertises. There is no free shuttle to the beach, the center of Cagliari is 40 minutes away and poetry beach ( the part you want to hang out in) is about 20 min by bus away. The pictures flatter the hotel more than it deserves. If you are looking for a cheap clean place to stay, look no further but rent a car to get around!

Review 53：It is falsely advertised as 4*. Clearly not even a 2*. The Hotel is outdated clearly 70's built with no up keep. Not safe for children - plug socket in room showing bare wires! Have to pay for advertised services which would be free in any other hotel. (hot tub for example). To reach the lift you must first go up stairs? What's the point of the lift? Shower floods the bathroom - clearly happens all the time. Mattress from when the hotel was built....Can go on but I think that's enough...
