Review 1：We spent two nights at hotel "Navy" and we were very pleasantly surprised.The location was superb, right in front of the sea.The room was very nice and extremely clean. The hotel staff was friendly and eager to please at any time.The hotel provided an excellent, wide ranging breakfast selection.We can't say enough good things.We would definitely love to go back and stay longer.

Review 2：The standard of everything was way beyond what I expected from a 3* hotel. Everything about this hotel is high quality and excellent standard. The staff were amazing! some of the best customer service I have ever encountered. There is an excellent cafe/bar across from the hotel with a view over the sea.

Review 3：We had a triple room, plus an extra bed (which we were charged for) but really the room was meant for just two. But wasn't a huge deal for one night.

Review 4：Staff were polite and helpful. Easy to park out the front and hotel was quiet. Right on the seafront. We didn't stay for breakfast so can't comment on that.

Review 5：The bathroom was not the best. The service desk is closed by 22:00 and opened by 08:00 the next morning, so no late check-in and pre-pay for early check-out

Review 12：A warm welcome from helpful staff, then escorted to a spacious, high, roofed room with lovely linen on the beds. The bathroom was large by European standards, with an amazing shower. A simple breakfast was available.

Review 14：Good breakfast in a cute small garden, friendly guy at reception, room was okay. For us, the location was almost perfect, because we were in Livorno just to spend one evening at the sea, so it didn't matter that the hotel was very far from the city centre; the nearby seafront with Terrazza Mascagni was the best part of the town anyway. With a bus stop 2-3 minutes from the hotel, we even had a direct bus connection to and from the train station.

Review 15：Nice small family hotel, we had a big and nice room,coffe and tea in the room with a bottle of water for free. It is a nice and safe location, just for a restaurant you need to count upto 30mins walk. Great for staying overnight when taking a ferry (7mins by car to the port).

Review 22：The location is perfect for early morning ferry departures and equally good for late arrivals back to Livorno. The front desk staff was as helpful as could be hoped for and the room was quiet.

Review 23：The hotel suffers from the typical sub-standard conditions of most Hotels in Italy. Like many other hotels, this one has very small beds with cheap, old bedlinen. The AC is not centralized. The toilet had some issues with sewer gases. The hotel is "open" only from 8 to 20, since it is family run. There are very few restaurants nearby and of poor quality. Despite such conditions, be aware that other hotels in the area have very similar issues: 3 star hotel in Italy do not equate to 3 star hotel in USA

Review 24：This is the closest hotel to the entrance of the Naval Academy: if this is your destination, this hotel is perfect.

Review 26：The room was wonderful -- high ceilings, large bed and very roomy. The location was perfect as we were right across the street from the promenade on the water. It was close to the Corsica ferry which we were taking.

Review 27：The front desk lady during the day shift didn't let us extend for more than 1 hr for a late check out although we didn't check in until early morning. The check out time is pretty early at 10 am.

Review 28：One of the staffs at Hotel Navy was really courteous and helpful since we were running late. His name was Christian and he helped us get to the hotel during late hours without much hassle.

Review 58：Pleased with our night at Hotel Navy. Was clean and well located close to the stadium as we went to the Inter-Livorno game the night of our stay. Was directly across from the Naval Academy and the sea. Parking is on the street in any available space. We pulled right into a space directly in front of the hotel—it seemed that may be the norm but since we only had to park once, it is impossible to know if that is always true. Breakfast buffet was decent. Best showers of the hotels we stayed at on our trip.

Review 59：The management and owners should consider installing an elevator in the hotel to avoide problems both for the guests and for the staff as well.

Review 60：Mattia, young man at the reception was just great - helped at check-in (baggage service as there is no elevator in the hotel) and several days after check-out when I called the hotel to check if I forgot my photocamera there. He called me back after my call was disconnected. Room was on the top floor, huge and with a character)) - navy/white stripes.

Review 68：Only stayed one night , with an early start next day for the ferry to Sardinia. Receptionist extremely helpful, booked us a restaurant for dinner, and organised a taxi there. Left a take away breakfast in our room as we were leaving at 6:00. Very handy for the port, only 10 min drive. Would definitely stay there again.
