Reviews for Albergo Bianchi Stazione

Review 1:Breakfast is limited in choice compared to other places we stayed in Europe, but was always fresh and in good supply. Wifi in the rooms was frustratingly unreliable but okay in the reception area.

Review 2:If you're travelling by train, you cannot get a better location. It is directly opposite the Mantova Station. This is not only great for when you arrive and depart, but also for doing visits to other towns in Mantova and neighbouring areas. The staff at the Albergo Bianchi has been the most professional hotel staff we have encountered on this particular trip. Always courteous, helpful and sincerely friendly.

Review 3:mosquito net is highly recommended

Review 4:the hotel is just one step from the train station, 10-15 min from the sity center, very clean, cozy and quiet, with large bed

Review 5:the wifi was irritating with constantly having to log back in. The breakfast was mediocre

Review 6:I loved the location, just superb for train travellers, the gentlemanly staff, the quiet room and quiet air con. the place was spotlessly clean

Review 7:Terrible to stay in this hotel in summer as the so-called "Air conditioning" is next to nothing because it cannot cool down the room and without any air ventilation. The small machine mounted on wall near the window can just blow out air from cool water pumped from outside. Suffocation and heat stroke will let you stay awake all night long. Few selection of food for breakfast.

Review 8:The hotel is just opposite the railway station and ten minutes on foot from the historical centre. Good selection of savoury (small goods), sweets and teas. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Mantova is a beautiful city in beautiful surroundings. Local cuisine excellent.

Review 9:Leaving!

Review 10:Location looks unpromising but bus from outside goes to all major locations. Basic but comfortable rooms, very quiet (3rd floor). Good breakfast, outstandingly helpful reception staff. Excellent value.

Review 11:Everything is a little dated and needs modernisation but acceptable. Thearea around the station, as in most cities in Europe, is not the mostbeautiful but is safe.

Review 12:Located opposite station and easy to reach if you come by car. 15 minutewalk to historic centre. Stayed in a large apartment style room incourtyard which is perfect for a family. Secure parking.

Review 13:Wonderful helpful staff, great breakfast good location!

Review 14:no facilities in the room to make hot drinks

Review 15:Convenient location for station and walking into town

Review 16:Directions were vague but manageable. Bed wasn't as firm as I would like.

Review 17:Convenience to upper and lower city areas.

Review 18:Room is very ugly.

Review 19:All you need for a good night sleep.

Review 20:Long haul to beach.

Review 21:Staff friendliness.

Review 22:Very convenient location for those who travel by train.

Review 23:limited number of restaurants

Review 24:close to lovely old city and the lakes

Review 25:Location ideal for travelling by train

Review 26:The internet connection was very poor, and the breakfast was ok.

Review 27:It was a good stay, the shower was very nice and hot, and the room was huge.

Review 28:Staff was really helpful. Large rooms. Exelent breakfast. Good value for money.

Review 29:Good location near the town centre, our motorcycles were locked away safe and undercover and the room spacious and modern.

Review 30:The parking is excellent however it's location of parking is in the courtyard of the hotel and could use a bigger sign.

Review 31:Great location to center of city, very friendly staff. Recommendation for local restaurant was excellent.

Review 32:Wi-fi is free but appalling, you need a different (and complicated) code for each device and it disconnects after about 3 minutes so you need to start again - and when you do connect, it's very slow. But maybe it's because I was on the top floor. The room and bathroom, though spotlessly clean, could do with some renovation, decor is very dated (wooden furniture seemingly from the 1970s) and the shower rather basic. The hotel isn't right in the historical centre, which is about a 10/15 minute walk away - being close to the station, it doesn't feel that safe at night though I had no problems.

Review 33:Very friendly staff who made me feel very welcome (and gave me some coffee and cake even though I was late and the breakfast room was closed), it has a real family feel, decent-sized rooms with comfy bed, convenient location just across the road from the train station (convenient if travelling to Verona for the day).

Review 34:Internal sound isolation is poor, we were awakened by neighboors talikng loud in the hallway. Breakfast is nice but there is not much diversity.

Review 35:Good location, price and value for money. Good sound isolation from the exterior; it is opposite the train station but we did not hear a thing! Easy access from highway and the parking is very convenient, although a little expensive.

Review 36:When there are many guests, noise of people talking and moving about can be head between rooms and floors.

Review 37:This is an unprentious, good value and simple hotel opposite the station in a town small enough to walk across it in 30 minutes. The staff are cheery and friendly and always full of smiles and helpfulness. There is no 'big hotel' feeling but a feeling of being a family run business with old world values.

Review 38:This hotel was the first thing that met my eyes as I exited the train station. It's literally right across the street. My room faced the courtyard and I never heard trains. Excellent breakfast. Within walking distance of all major tourist attractions. Most highly recommended.

Review 39:Breakfast was a bit minimal. Some fresh seasonal fruit would have been nice and also some eggs.

Review 40:Very convenient for station Lovely room overlooking the garden. Lovely treat of afternoon cup of tea in the garden. Charming staff; little English spoken but staff always very helpful.

Review 41:My room is on top floor. If open the windor, spiders would come in room.

Review 42:Very good and friendly staff. They can speak little english. The building likes the city with a 522 years history, but clean and comfortable. The hotel has a small yard and parking area, peaceful and safe. The train station is on the opposite side of the street, and easily find taxi. The breakfast is good. I like it at least.

Review 43:It was very hot weather and the air conditioning system wasn't adequate, very uncomfortable for sleeping.

Review 44:It was very convenient, across the street from train station and walking distance to everything. Staff was friendly and the room was nice.

Review 45:Staff was excellent. Very willing to help. Breakfast was very good. Older hotel but Everything was in great shape, clean and well maintained. Parking was very secure and convenient.

Review 46:Nothing, all good.

Review 47:The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Made you feel at home. Sitting in the garden was a welcome relief from all the walking! Breakfast good and value for money hotel. Convenient for station

Review 48:- Just a heads-up. The elevators don't go to all floors. I wasn't a problem for me and someone carried our bags up.

Review 49:- Excellent location - Friendly staff - Clean, basic rooms - Adequate breakfast included in price

Review 50:The shower was very small - one if those where if you moved you could not help but change temperature if water!! Also silly sachets of soap that hold about 5 mls!! Probably a little overpriced.

Review 51:The hotel was ideally placed - 10 seconds walk from station!!! 5 minutes walk to centre of Mantova.

Review 52:Thin Walls!

Review 53:A well run, clean and welcoming hotel with helpful staff and good management. Value for money and what it says on the tin. No surprises and good private (though extra £/Euro) Car Parking. Breakfast above the norm in quality . Croeso da yma! Bar available with Coffee area in re option area.

Review 54:One mild caution - there was a "church group" here of about 20 teenagers. While they did not keep us up at night, we did hear complaints from others. They seemed to be a friendly, typically bubbly group of kids. Our past experience, however, has taught us always to avoid any hotel that accepts school groups or other teen age groups if we expect a night's sleep.

Review 55:Easy access to train station and only a ten minute walk to old city. Wonderful and friendly staff! Good breakfast buffet.

Review 56:Helpful and personable staff Proximity to rail station Quiet

Review 57:Very friendly staff and good location.

Review 58:very small shower

Review 59:the staff and locations

Review 60:Their internet must be seriously looked at and improved on if it is to be considered as usable.

Review 61:The staff friendliness and help.

Review 62:Location near station easy to find with car

Review 63:Breakfast not very interesting

Review 64:Reception recommended very good restaurant

Review 65:The bar is not well stocked!!
