Review 1：Uncertainty of hot water supply.

Review 2：The attractive elegance of the buildings and grounds. The character and style of the dining rooms. The friendliness of the staff.

Review 3：It was difficult to find. It would be great to put the latitude and longitude in the gps. The staff very very helpful. Our car was scratched in the car park and they found someone to polish it out. That was very appreciated.

Review 8：Absolutely terrible staff in bar and restaurant. Waited 90 minutes for aperitivi drinks and then they were wrong. Wrong dishes served at dinner. Waiters arguing with each other, awful atmosphere. Incredibly slow service and no check presented. Breakfast buffet not replenished, staff grumpy. Dryer broken in bathroom, lightbulbs burned out, air conditioning poor. Complete air conditioning failure in room 151, staff totally unable to reset remote control. Radiators came on in night! Boiling heat in room for four people.

Review 9：Front desk staff were excellent and very helpful. They were polite and professional and truly listened. Beautiful grounds, lovely swimming pool. Delicious food at dinner.

Review 10：It would have been good to have ripe fruit for breakfast and more not sweet breads. Arriving back at the hotel just after 2.00pm and the room had not been made up and we had to wait over an hour for it to be done. This only happened one day.

Review 14：It's a beautiful place to be. Just take in consideration to rent a car or hire a driver, it's not easy to move around the area by foot due to the small roads. The village Martina Franca is about 7,7 km from the "Masseria". Enjoy your stay, I sure did!

Review 17：This was a superb end to our trip to Italy. The setting was serene and tranquil. Very relaxing and just what we needed after traveling around Italy and Sicily, seeing all the big attractions, busy places and visiting family in Italy. The swimming pool had the same relaxing feel as the rest of the site. Pool bar staff and food were very good. Included breakfast had enough choice on buffet. We had a villa which was set up very tastefully and comfortable. Although the hotel is a bit out of the way it is very well sign posted.

Review 33：Needs a little refreshing. The Masseria shows it´s wear. Somewhat difficult to find in the country side coming from Tarento, needs better roadsigns.

Review 35：Allegedly 4 stars hotel, but the rooms were modern back at the 90's, unpleasent staff, not great location, poor breakfast (tomatos not washed, powder coffee machine..). No Wi-Fi or cellular reception in the room.

Review 38：Staff were fantastic: happily changed my reservation for one night less, and when I was told the restaurant was not open that night (it doesn't open every night in April) they drove to Martina Franca and brought me back a pizza. The surroundings are glorious and restaurant great.

Review 41：Had great trouble finding it. Signs on road for hotel misleading. Stuck in the middle of the countryside so couldn't eat anywhere else unless driving into the towns about 20 minutes away and roads very dark and unlit. Evening meals were expensive at the masseria and portions quite small. There was a computer for anyone to use but kids often on it playing games so needed more than one. Very spacious hotel with many paved areas. Could do with more sun beds and more grassy areas to sit on and water for free! Had to pay for bottles all the time. A fountain with drinking water would have been nice as was an expensive hotel. Very little for kids to do. Should have a play area as kids running around hotel in evening.

Evening meals had variety and no pizza! Bikes to use. Pool very clean. Relaxing hotel. Staff very friendly with good English. Lovely surroundings with animals and countryside. Very peaceful.

Review 45：- The door of the hotel room has a handle at the outside, which means that if you do not close the door explicitly people from outside can enter. - the second day there was no warm water in shower. - Also you share your balcony with one other room. So if you want to leave open your window, you have to trust the neighbours. - At first we could not find the swimming pool. The swimming pool signs let us into the cellar.

Review 51：It was large and impersonal. I expected a more authentic Italian experience. The hotel was more suited to large tours and conventions. Also, oddly, they had both a pig and a donkey which were both very vocal (woke us up at night and in the morning). The room was not as clean as expected. Quite a lot of mold in the bathroom ceiling.

The pool is outstanding - it's like something from a hollywood film. The staff are all proffesional and friendly. The rooms are immaculately clean and very spacious. The food in the restaurant is 5* quality. I will definately return to this hotel and I would reccomend it to everyone.

Review 54：It was perfect in every way! Better than we could have accepted for theprice. The swimming pool was beautiful with lots of beds for sunbathingand a super bar beside for lunch with waiter service and table cloths!The hotel was spotless, beautifully situated and presented. The staffwere very friendly. We have stayed in Italy and hotels in Italy manytimes and own a property in Puglia, but this was our first stay in aMasseria and it was the best stay by far. We hope to return very soon!

In contrast with othercomments: easy to find the location (signs from Martina Franca, +correct gps coordinates). Nice restaurant with excellent dishes!! Inplain summer the area (not the masseria itself) however is very hot, soit feels more like stain in a golden cage, because there is nothingthat can be visited in the area by foot. But if you like lodging in aquiet area, near a swimming pool, with a few books, to relax: theperfect spot!
