Review 1：Out of all the dormy inn branches we've been to, this had the worst breakfast by far. Personally we enjoy breakfast buffets but this offers a planned meal with a few things we could refill on, it wasn't ideal because some of the things given are things we don't eat and will just go to waste. So a buffet style breakfast will offer more of a variation to what one has for the meal.

Review 2：Bigger bed and bigger space than other branches.

Review 3：We stayed four nights, with day trips to Matsushima and Genbikei/Geibikei plus seeing Sendai city and aquarium. Hotel is close to Sendai station in a lively area with shops and restaurants, excellent outdoor and indoor communal baths, convenient free washing machines and pay driers, friendly staff, great base for exploring the area.

Review 5：5mins walk from the station.Many restaurant around there. Room was clean. Friendly staff. I did not try but there was ramen noodle for free in the evening, which was interesting.

Review 6：Bed an pillow was a bit hard, but I understand that beds are different in Japan. I sleep well anyways.

Review 9：I love the onsen there. It was as if I stayed at the Ryokan since they have great Onsen inside but it's convenient business hotel. I'll come back again!

Review 10：Short walk from train station. Close to main shopping area. Front office staff professional and very helpful. Mr. Fukuoka in particular spoke excellent English and was very conscientious. Great breakfast.

Review 13：The rates nearly double during a festival to take advantage of the heavy traffic periods. While all hotels increase, you can easily stay at a more upscale place for about $50 more. This is basically the equal of a Holiday Inn...minus the free breakfast, the breakfast is about $20 a person extra.

Rooms although small were adequate and our two older children were easily able to share a small double bed. It was about a 7 min walk to the train station and a 3 min walk to the Sendai mall. The price was good as well.

Review 40：We arrived about 45 mins early before the check-in time on a cold snowy day. Our bags were taken up to the room but we were not allowed to check-in as it was not yet the official check in time. This seemed a bit officious since our room was obviously ready.

Review 42：Dormy Inn was an excellent choice. In terms of location, it is next to the popular walking street, located with shops and eating places. The service in the hotel is the best that you can ask for. Most staff speak some English and try hard to communicate and mostly work. A chef speaks perfect American English. We stayed in standard double rooms which are not particularly big but are very well maintained and very effectively fitted with all amenities that you would need. Wired internet connection provides convenience. There is an in-house onsen, said to be their own with hot spring from 200 meter underground. The onsen house with both indoor and outdoor pool as well as a Sauna are of very good size and with modern showers. I do not think that an onsen is common in the city hotels in Sendai. For the price we pay, it is of super value. We pay a small supplement for continental breakfast which in my view is generous and of good value too. For both nights we have stayed, there are complimentary ramen provided at night between 21:30 and 23:00 which is simple but tasty. Shops and eating places are plentiful around the hotel. In case you drive, you should reserve a parking space in advance, or otherwise it can be full. Again it costs a supplement. Dormy is very highly recommended.
