Reviews for Tenuta Agricola dell'Uccellina

Review 1:Location was great and staff were very helpful. Kitchen facilities were okay, but basic - no kettle for example. However, overall was good value for money.

Review 2:Bad whether Staff was a bit too slow to issue invoice Too floury breakfast (missed some hot food like omelette and vegetables) Poor ventilation in the room.

Review 3:Great restaurant Great park Original activities (e.g. horses)

Review 4:The appartments are in a separate building quite far away from the main building and this was not indicated in the description. The menu in the restaurant is in Italian only. The breakfast is really basic and overpriced. The local beach is 30 min jeep ride away and is not suitable for small children because of huge waves

Review 5:Beautiful landscape and beaches, great food, local wine and beer, lot of activities to do with the kids

Review 6:Space for improvement: old kitchen is ok but not damaged kitchen, some cheap broken plastic chairs in garden, cleaning service once a week, "wifi only in lobby from 8 am -10 pm" - but one could also enjoy holiday without wifi, sometimes missing logic eg. bio-food production versus lamps in garden switched on days/nights.

Review 7:Location - Maremma, very nice garden close to forrest, nature, really beautiful sandy beaches in Alberese, wild and farm animals, horses!!, friendly people everywhere, Italian coffee, very good food in many agricola restaurants, evenings with full-moon, hot summer and relaxed atmosphere, very very friendly staff. We like Toscana very much!

Review 8:we had a junior suite, nice room, but without a fridge that in the summer is really a must. Breakfast really poor in quality products. Definitely it is not worthy of paying the price requested.

Review 9:beautiful place in the middle of Maremma

Review 10:Location is wonderful but hard to get to - especially on cycles. Breakfast could have had more fresh fruit or savouries. Maybe Italians are happy with cake for breakfast but most foreigners not so pleased.

Review 11:Location, helpful staff, great room, top class organic and local food. Excellent cheap jeep ride to wild beach and back.

Review 12:Not so easy access to the nature park as we expected (needed guide to enter the park). The rooms were quite dark, and we did not receive new towels during our stay (only three nights). There was also only a fan in the apartment, no AC.

Review 13:Nice location near the majella nature park. It was super to be transported to a beach in the nature park with very clean water. Nice restaurant with their own products. Near Alberese and Talamone

Review 14:Hard to find .

Review 15:beautiful rural location in contrast to nearby resorts , Tranquil atmosphere . Excellent local food . Ideal rest for a night on a long journey North from Naples .

Review 16:There are tow main houses...one of them, with standrad rooms is nice sndcozy...however, the other one, made up of apartaments is too much pricedfor what is offered: old deorations and fittings, bathroom completelyoutdated and witjout the simplest utilities, almost suicidal to leftwindows open given the mosquitoes but with no air conditiong, prepare tosuffer hot weather! No wifi (just in the reption area, and you have totake the car to get there if staying in this "casale"

Review 17:Horses and location..the area!playground for chikdren but not shaddy soforget being there during the day in summer time!

Review 18:Very friendly staff. Warm (for november), nice, very clean, beautiful apartment with everything you need. Splended landscapes.

Review 19:hard to find-hotel should give better directions

Review 20:perfect location in maremma national park. excellent restaurant.

Review 21:- proximity of noisy highway and railroadtracks - distance of flats to main compound

Review 22:the food was quite nice

Review 23:Room got a bit hot, AC couldn't handle it all. If fully booked, it will be a little noisy. 15-30 minute to beach by car. Limited biking treks from the location.

Review 24:Possibility to get a ride (for extra cash) to the beach, riding lessons possible and a very good restaurant.

Review 25:Herrliche Unterkunft inmitten des Nationalparks. Wer reiten möchte, sollte besser vorher reservieren. Wonderful accomodation in the middle of the national park. If you want to do horse riding better make a reservation in advance.

Review 26:We staying in a great 2 bedroom apartment, each room had an en suite bathroom, and they were separated by a kitchenette/living room. Each room opened up onto a field with lounge chairs and views of the hills. For 2 couples, it was a fantastic set up, and the setting was beautiful. This was only possible with a car, public transport would have been harder. Also excellent value.

Review 27:Our suite offered no view at all, partly because it faced in the wrong direction and partly because the only window was minute and above eye level; in my view this is unsatisfactory for an agriturismo establishment. Also, there was virtually no provision for sitting outside, the little there was being uncomfortable and communal; just unacceptable, especially as the Tenuta Agricola dell'Uccellina is towards the upper end of the market. When I complained it was pointed out that none of the suites had a view. I would have ended our stay after the first night but didn’t want to spend time looking for alternatives.

Review 28:We stayed at the Tenuta Agricola dell'Uccellina for three nights in the second week of May. The accommodation is superficially appealing, well-finished and comfortable; our suite offered separate sleeping and sitting areas connected by two stone arches, and an attractive bathroom with shower. The tenuta is a large farm in a beautiful position, with extensive views of the wooded slopes of the nature reserve, and well-marked walks through the forest. The main coast road and busy main railway line are not far away but were not too intrusive, though they might have been with a north-easterly wind or if we had spent time out of doors by the accommodation. The restaurant offered a menu of local produce that was sensibly relatively limited, but well prepared and good value, with extremely helpful and knowledgable staff.

Review 29:Vacationing with his family on this farm from March 1 to March 4, 2014. Have only positive impression. Quiet and peaceful place. Wonderful nature. The farm is located in the Tuscan hills, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. On the farm quietly roam wild animals. We have repeatedly seen hares, deer, wild boar. Comfortable and fully equipped guest houses. Friendly and hospitable hosts. A highway near. Convenient base for touring Tuscany. Recommend to all!

Review 30:(not that big issue) an area to dry up swimming suits should be made available (plenty of space for this)

Review 31:Nice location, easy to reach, private beach, excellent food, comfortable room, air conditioning, mosquito net at windows, recently refurbished, large green area, horse riding, locally-produced meat and cheese

Review 32:The staff were very unhelpful and quite indifferent in their attitude to us. There was no information in the rooms on local area and amenities.

Review 33:Good location for the Maremma national park. Very comfy beds.

Review 34:Great peaceful 'agriturismo' B&B - beautiful location, good breakfast, helpful staff.

Review 35:That dogs are not permitted in the park.

Review 36:Friendly staff! Very helpful to realize your wishes, being a horse- back outing or a birthday cake!
