Review 1：There was not a thing we didn't like

Review 2：The setting, the view, the decor and the breakfast room looking out to the sea. We loved taking our coffee into the lounge to play cards and looking out at the boats coming and going. The breakfast selection was varied and lots of choice.

Review 3：There is no regular restaurant in the hotel, but it was a minor disadvantage. Far from any other facilities (stores etc., but we did not care).

Review 4：Very clean, modern hotel with an extremely helpful staff (owner on site) , great breakfast with a fantastic sea view. We booked a room without a sea view, but the owner upgraded it to a one with a sea view. It was very nice of him. Despite the lack of restaurant they offer you drinks, snacks etc. Spacious parking on site (but I still wonder how they manage with it in the high sezon :)) Terrace is great.

Review 5：This lovely hotel has amazing views of the Amalfi coast. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a car park on site 2 levels above reception. The rooms are comfortable and the terrace is a great place to sit with a drink and enjoy the view. There is no restaurant at the hotel but there are several on the beach (200 steps down).

Review 7：The owner, Marchello was lovely and Josephine the receptionist was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had a stunning room with the most awesome balcony and seaview. Lovely crispy white linen on the bed. A real gem of a find... Especially for the last night of our holiday.

Review 15：The hotel was fantastic. The service was great and available all hours. Local restaurants can pick you up for dinner. We had a car but I think I would use the bus next time. We had a balcony room that I actually proposed to my girlfriend on!

Review 16：2 bad experiences:1. we were on honeymoon and had stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, we were checking out at 11am and at 11:12am received a rude phonecall from the manager to say we were very late and needed to check out immediately, we thought it was a shame to end our stay in this way given we were only 12 minutes later 2. my husband took his top off on the sun deck / main balcony area where there were sun chairs etc overlooking the ocean and was told quite sternly by the manager to put is top immediately back on, Again it was embarrassing and not necessary and if we had known / been told at check in we would not have done this. We felt we were good patrons, but the staff appeared rude at times

Review 25：Very clean and beutiful building with a grand view of Amalfi. I liked the the stylish tile floor and room furniture. There is a water taxi from below the hotel to Amalfi beach ( 10 minutes). It is very convenient and fun.

There are some 200 steep steps from the hotel to the beach - that requires a good physical condition, but it worth it!

Review 33：We had a fantastic view from our room and from the balcony. The cleanliness is perfect. It is a very comfortable place to stay next to amalfi and with the bus stop to move to the different villages just in front of the hotel (amalfi/positano, etc...). Besides there is a small beach 200 stairs down, where you can relax and swim. It was very useful to have a taxi boat in the beach (Gianfranco) which takes you to Amalfi anytime for a very good price. Internet was also good from the room. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I return to Amalfi coast. In general the Amalfi cost is incredible!

Review 41：This is a gem. Amazing views, very clean, lovely staff and very private. The little beach at the bottom of the stairs has some of the best water in Italy! The restaurants there are nice too. It's the prefect place if you don't want to be in the heart of the amalfi tourists.

Review 47：The balcony furniture is just not right. Our balcony had fantastic views, however, it had a wall around it which is about waist height. The furniture provided, is a pair of deck chairs, which are about thigh high. So, when sat in these chairs, with your cool beer or glass of wine, you have a view of the balcony wall. Also, tea and coffee facilities in the room, would be great, especially first thing in the morning, to make the most of the balconies.

Review 48：Location, Location, Location. The views are some of the best in Europe. Rugged landscapes to the left, where you can see Amalfi, and the mountains. Serene seascape to the front, where you can watch the world go by in all sorts of boats. You can arrange to be transported to a number of restaurants, from pizzeria, to fine dinning, we were not disappointed with any of them.

Review 56：The view is spectacular, and it's close to some of the most beautiful cities in Italy. There are many good restaurants that will pick you up for dinner. The staff is extremely helpful and could answer all of our questions and help with parking.

Lovely views from the Terrace - sit and have a coffee or a beer. There is a beach and three restaurants right below the hotel, quite a few steps - but worth it. Breakfast was lovely! Fresh juice, nice coffee, cheeses, meats, pastries, fruits and cereals. SITA bus stop a few metres away, for buses to Sorrento or Amalfi. I would come here again!

The forniture is not knew and is old fashion but is decent and the bed is very confortable.Breakfast is very good. Hotels are very expensive in this part of Italy, so this hotel is a good choise. Is location is good too becuse ti stays beetwin Amalfi and Positano in a quiet and paceful place.

Review 72：The view from the Hotel rooms and common areas is to die for. There is a large patio on the top floor with absolutely gorgious views. The room was large and clean with a balcony overlooking the ocean and amalfi coast. The breakefast was delicious with fruits, croissants, yogourt and evrything else.. Parking facility is very convenient too. Location is just minutes away from Amalfi without inconvenient of driving in heavy traffic. Nothing else but good things to say about this Hotel. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Review 83：We we warmly welcomed by Marcello and Josephine. They offered us a choice of room and we really enjoyed the sea view from our balcony. We travelled on the Sita bus and thankfully the stop was less than 50 metres from the hotel. Breakfast was great and is served in the restaurant which has breathtaking views of the Amalfi coast. We used the little beach after a 200 step walk down the cliff. This is a nice recluse and there are three restaurants to choose from. We certainly hope to return there in the future.

Review 93：The hotel is not located in a town so must rely on local transport to get a meal. Because this is not reliable and timetable not so good it was difficult to just obtain a quick meal. And having no fridge meant that you could not purchase cold meats, cheeses and salads etc to make your own lunches. It would have been fine if prepared to go to restaurants every night but they tend to be on the pricey side. This is the only drawback. Money for food was an issue because we had been travelling for 8 weeks and still have 3 weeks to go.

Breakfast was fresh and plentiful - lovely cold plates, fruit and crisp pastries. Location is a perfect hub to tour the Amalfi coast using reliable bus service. Lovely local private beach allows you to experience their lifestyle without huge tourist crowds of other towns.

Review 98：We had a room with a terrace. The view was just amazing. The room was huge and it even though the decoration was outdated, it still had character. The staff was very helpful. The parking (very rare in the area). The beach with the restaurants beneath the hotel.

Review 99：Somewhat remote although local bus service was easy (tickets from reception). 210 steps down to the beach and 3 restaurants so not suitable for anyone who can't do steps! Not much else in local area although Amalfi itself was excellent. Parking in any of the local towns is difficult and expensive so go by bus.

Review 100：Great location regarding the views. Very helpful staff. We took advantage of the free shuttle to the restaurant up in the main town/village and had a really good night. Local bus service good and is a must if you don't like narrow winding roads.
