Review 1：The location is very near to the train station, supermarket, convenience store, numerous restaurants, as well as the bicycle rental for the shimanami kaido.

Review 2：The big, over-arching problem with the Green Hill Hotel is the heating in the room, as other reviews have previously mentioned. By far the hottest hotel I've ever stayed in in Japan, and I've stayed in quite a few over three visits to the country. You can't open the locked window, and the room was so hot at night (in November) that we slept on top of the bed -which may have been a bit of a boon, as the mattress was not the most comfortable either.

Review 3：We had a Bay View twin room with a view out over the water. The room is a good size and the hotel is fantastically located close to the train station, bus station and ferries. The hotel staff were also most helpful in getting rid of a broken suitcase and advising me where I could obtain a new one.

Review 4：The hotel is right across from the station (local line) and above the port, making it very convenient for travel, land or sea. If you are using the Shinkansen, transfer to the local line in Fukuyama, it is only about a fifteen minute ride from there.

Review 5：They gave us a non-smoking room and it smelled badly of cigarrets. They have the wrong picture in booking.com platform. They only show the bigger room which costs more.

Review 7：The staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The view over the water was fabulous. We had breakfast which was terrific- interesting range of Japanese dishes as well as a European selection. We were riding the bridges bike path and the staff had helpful maps all ready

Review 8：Room and hallways had a very stale, smoky odor. Both the hotel and the restaurant/bar were surprisingly expensive compared to other places we've stayed in Japan, for facilities and food that weren't as good.
