Reviews for Ca' Berton Village

Review 1:The breakfast could have been more fresh. Some of the butter had gone sour and I would have liked some healthy options of ie Greek yoghurt and musli, vegetables for the sandwiches etc.

Review 2:The quality of the room and bathroom was excellent and the people very friendly. Nice house, area and garden.

Review 3:Far from venice but not too far, need a bus plus boat, its just a caravan, not great for having a shower or self cleaning or toilette. Overall good

Review 4:Clean bed and comfortable

Review 5:- commuting to Punto Sabbioni to catch a boat to St. Marks Square or Lido or to Burano/Murano/Tesslo is little inconvenient without a car; But, manageable with buses running every half an hour and the bus stop is just a km away!

Review 6:+The bungalow had everything we needed during our stay; + Very very supportive staff - they gave all the information required; Also kapput refrigerator was replaced in less than 15 mins! + The clean village has good number of restaurants and super markets; + Beach is close by (just few mins walk); All in all, ideal place for Leisure!!!

Review 7:The property charges for sheets and towels. No toilet paper. Hot water runs out quickly but there is hot water.

Review 8:We stayed in a bungalow it sleeps 4 with a double bed and some bunk beds. It was equipped with a full kitchen and regular sized refrigerator. There is also a heater/air conditioner. It had a small table with two chairs and lawn chairs outside. You have your own porch. Major plus, parking right outside bungalow. The lady at the reception was very helpful and helped us with pubic transportation.

Review 9:I wish our mobile home had two bathrooms like the one we rented in Rome (Tiber Camping Village).

Review 10:Mobile home is something I experienced the first time and I was skeptical how it would accomodate 5 people. But after spending a night all of us were very impressed with the beds and the kitchen facility and the bathrooms. The kitchen was almost fully equipped like in our own home. Above all the privacy and cleanliness were top class.

Review 11:Lousy internet connection, needs improvement. No TV. Not much space between mobile houses. Noisy heating system.

Review 12:Good location, very good price, playground for children. Good ship connection to Venice.

Review 13:Walk from the bus stop to the place a little awkward when you carry a lot of baggages. Room wasn't that clean with sand on the floor.

Review 14:Enjoy the time staying with them. Near the beach, restaurant, grocery store and a mini supermarket.

Review 15:bad wi-fi!!! even near the reception did not work!!!

Review 16:Everything was great. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great bungalows, all necessary utensils, air conditioning, own terrace and a parking space right under the house. Nearby there are shops and cafes. To pure and beautiful beach 200 meters.

Review 17:We were unlucky that it is full of Mosquitos due to an unusual wet summer where no spraying of bugs could happen we were informed by staff, it made sitting outside uncomfortable / impossible without citronella candels and the bug killer that smokes available in the large market that is across from village . We left some for the next occupants of our cabin. The wifi did not work inside the cabins was only effective outside so this was useless due to the mosquito issue. We stayed for 8 days with no rain and no spraying of the village happened to control the problem , I know as I was in the village for almost the entire time , we will never forget our honeymoon at the mosquito camp

Review 18:The location and the proximity to the beach are very good. The staff in the village are friendly . If you are travelling from Fx the train station in Venice, get the water bus 5.1 or 5.2 to Lido this will cost €7 one way per person and tickets can be bought at the kiosk on front of the station steps. At Lido change for Punta Sabiona, this will be €7 per person , then the bus leaves 5 minutes after the boat docks it is behind the dock when you land, get off at stop 15 Ca Pasquale , cross the road and walk straight for less that 1/2 k the village is straight ahead. If you are later than 8pm call the village and they will leave the keys in the restaurant. A taxi may be easier if you have lots of luggage it costs €15 . There are shops in the village and you can rent bikes and beach equipment .

Review 19:poor internet/no internet (and you need to pay additionally for it) ----- don't buy MarcoPolo tickets - in middle of ferry you may be asked to pay 2nd time... - buy Public Transport

Review 55:We came only because we quickly needed a place to stay for our main goal, which was a day trip to Venice. But Ca' Berton Village is really a very nice camping. Next time when we go to visit Venice again, we will surely choose Ca' Berton Village and we will stay longer.

Review 56:We were there in May and since there is no heating, it was quite cold in the bungalow in the night. Also the bungalow is very small, I can't imagine how 4 people would fit into it. Fortunately we were just 2 :)

Review 57:If you want to visit Venice and are looking for cheap accommodation, this is a very good option. It is not far from the ferry to Venice and from the beach.

Review 58:Wifi wasn't good - for good signal we needed to sit near reception

Review 61:As it is not in Venice, I think the website needs to improve the instructions or explanations to get there, that can be very useful, especially for people that don't have their own cars.

Review 62:It was incredible ! It is such a nice place to stay with your family or friends, the beach is near and the bungalows are really really nice ! The staff was also very kind people and the prices are great. If I'd lived in Europe I would go every summer...

Review 67:Travelling to airport from midnight to 5:00 by public transport could be difficult! Otherwise, it is almost 1:15 hr by public transport.

Review 68:We were very happy with the bunglow we got. Friendly staffs, close to beach, modern household equipments, sitting area just outside, If you want to stay away from your busy work and relax with your family... this is the best! reception is till 20:00. Well, for that case, i guess, you have to inform them about your latenight visit. The bus (No. 5) timing is connected to that of boat to Venice at Punta Sabbioni.

Review 76:Very friendly and helpful staff. We got in late after the checkin office closed but staff still led us to our cabin. They upgraded us to a larger unit and refunded us our wifi charges when the telco system went down. They gave us good tips on where to go after our stay which turned out to be a nice unplanned sidetrip to verona. Nice neighbours who all share the budget price lodging.

Review 87:The staff was awesome. They were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. There were several times I felt they could have said there was nothing they could do, or can't help me, but they did every time. They found a way to help. They have a vast knowledge of the area and could answer every question I had.
