Review 1：Hot water wasn't always available - but we were the only guests at the very end of their summer season.

Review 2：The location and the general ambience as a historic hunting lodge. Comfortable rooms. Breakfasts (Home baking every morning!) The gentleman proprietor for whom nothing was too much trouble. The cost.

Review 3：Not so much a bad experience - but Stafal is tiny and there isn't much choice about where to eat and drink. Cheap and good though!

Review 4：This establishment is right beside the ski lifts in Stafal. It's a beautiful old hunting lodge with lots of original features and very atmospheric. The family who run it couldn't be more helpful. We were there 4 nights at the end of the summer season (we were the only guests for part of that time) for the mountaineering and it was ideal.

Review 6：We stayed at the hotel in the beginning of March 2015. The impressions are very good. The room is convenient, the stuff is friendly. The hotel is located about 100 m away from the two cabin lifts going to the both sides of the valley. From the western side one can go down immediately to the hotel, so from some point of view it can be called ski-in and ski-out. Note that from the eastern side you can go down not to the hotel but to the opposite side of the road. Monte Rosa ski area is not as big as Cervino area but it is also good. Review 12：No ski boot heaters so we had to bring our boots to the room to dry them up. Some of the 1876 hotel floors and staircases crack and make a lot of noise. The breakfast was provided in a very ancient / stuffy dining room and the food was pretty basic for 8 Euros each.

Review 13：Helpful and pleasant staff. The location is just beside the 2 Staffal gondolas and therefore great for skiers. We were 3 adults and we were provided with a 2 bedroom comfortable apartment with a nice balcony. This 1876 dated hotel has some charm and also some drawbacks.

Review 14：Low temp in breakfast room. Shower after 8pm cold. (But in morning and around 4pm it was fine). Apartment a bit worn but clean.

Review 16：At night - room heating system is turned off. Old furniture - sofas, chairs, armchairs - all need to upgrade. In ski room - no drying for ski boots. The breakfasts are on request only (8 euros per person...) and start late - at 8:00

Review 17：Historic building dating from 1876 and was intended to stay of important and royal persons. Corridors and hall decorated with antique paintings and hunting trophies. In the breakfast room kept historical decorations. Located very close to the ski lifts. Own indoor garage. Large lockers for ski. An elevator is available. Spacious rooms with high ceilings and a kitchenette.

Review 18：The place is old fashioned and worn. A 3 star hotel. It is ncessary to reserve for breakfast the day before and specify any extra orders. Also any dinner, which is with fixed menu, must be ordered during the day (but is quite OK and inexpensive). Only very few other dining possibilities in Stafal and reservations necessary.

Review 19：Just next to the skilift. Free parking i garage. Large ski deposit room. Large rooms. Kitchenette in apartments. Good heating. Very classical residence and interior. Friendly staff.
