Reviews for Baia D'Argento
Review 1:the hotel is a little dated and is not in close walking distance to any restaurants/shops etc. the private beach is not very nice.
Review 2:the ocean views and the breakfast!
Review 3:It's on a main "highway" ( a narrow road, really), so there's a lot of traffic, but that can't be helped.
Review 4:Location is right across the road from the "beach." Great breakfast included with the room price, and the hotel and was very clean and organized. Walking distance from town, where there's a great promenade along the harbor. Free off street parking.
Review 5:Walk to town was long and through tunnels. Hotel restaurant limited. No screens on windows. If you care, room decor plastic and colors garish.
Review 6:Very clean and comfortable; great bathroom; helpful staff. One of the better hotel breakfasts with outdoor patio.
Review 7:The beach in front of the Hotel is not the nicest one in the area. But in a place like Argentario, one must definitely use the car and go to the rocky beaches, like Cala Grande or Cala di Gesso.
Review 8:Close to Porto Santo Stefano. There is a nice pedestrian walk along the sea and across tunnels from an ancient railway. The view is nice. The parking is very practical. The personnel is friendly and very careful. The rooms are very confortable.
Review 9:If you are looking for a good sand beach this is not the place to be. The food is below average with very expensive prices.
Review 10:Well located in Monte Argentario. Wireless is good.
Review 11:Cleanless of facilities.
Review 12:Nothing
Review 13:Everything
Review 14:2km to nearest village , nothing near by ,on a busy road.
Review 15:The views are stunning
Review 16:Room overlooking water was large, clean and well appointed. Huge breakfast was included. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Review 17:Hotel had direct access to the beach and charis/towels available. Very close to city center.
Review 18:Although the bedroom furniture was rather dated, the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean and the bathroom was excellent. I would also congratulate the chef on the a la carte dinner choice. Really excellent service too.
Review 19:No real service at little bar. They didn't seem to care for business there - weird.
Review 20:Wonderful staff and GORGEOUS View from room balcony. Also good parking.
Review 21:The road between the hotel and the beach was quite busy most of the time. Otherwise we don't really have a lot to complain about.
Review 22:Friendly staff, easy parking, clean and comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast. The evening view from our balcony was very nice, and the hotel's private beach with sun beds was near and convenient, even though a little more sand would have been nice. The nearby picturesque village Porto Santo Stefano allows for a good selection of nice restaurants and shops.
Review 23:the nightime 'blue LED' effect on the front face of the hotel is so bright that it means that you haveto close the shutters and windows at night... kind of ruins the spacious beach ambience.
Review 24:The room was spacious, clean, cool ( airconditioned, which was welcome in the sweltering heat) the little extras in the room like a shopping bag, flip-flops etc were great. the small private beach with loungers etc really handy, and the fact that most if not all were included in the price, made for a relaxing stay without the normal nasty surpise upon checkout.
Review 25:The hotel was outside of the Porto Santo Stefano, more than 2km away from centre. between the beach and hotel was the road.
Review 26:Parking was good, Breakfast was ok.
Review 27:Noise from road in restaurant.
Review 28:Close to well maintained hotel beach.
Review 29:a little over priced
Review 30:rooms with views were quite nice
Review 31:The hotel is situated on a main road with no pavement and no where to go to.
Review 32:Nice view, balcony. Rooms were nice and dark with the shutters.
Review 33:rooms were nice, free parking, on a nice island, breakfast
