Reviews for Grand Hotel Helio Cabala
Review 1:Staff could be a bit more cheerful.
Review 2:Location was spectacular and it was convenient as it was the venue for the wedding we attended . The views and close to Castello Gandolfi - lake Albano and Marino town just up the road. Great coffee bar at end of the road with fresh and tasty croissants so no real need to book breakfast.
Review 3:breakfast is poor (no fresh fruits, just lots of sugar (marmelade etc.) & bakery) located in a picturesque environment, but the hotel staff is unfortunately completely clueless when you are asking for assistence to enjoy this area: there are no maps and no bikes available, if you ask for hiking/ walking trails (e.g. i.o.t. walk over to Castel Gandolfo which is very close), the staff recommends to walk along the busy roads... very unsatisfactory!
Review 4:the location & the view on Rome at the horizon is spectacular (need to ask for one of the rooms 303 to 306) and it is very quietly located, contact the hotel before you get there, they'll give you a lift from the train station (which can be useful if you are travelling with heavy luggage because then the 15 mins walk can end up in a lot of sweat, at least in summer)
Review 5:dust under the bed.
Review 6:The personal attention of the chef.
Review 7:would have liked a bath in my room and a wider selection menu in the restaurant.
Review 8:beautiful view and surroundings!
Review 9:The restaurant did not work in the evening.
Review 10:Nothing
