Set at the foot of the Monterosa ski slopes, Walsertal Residence offers Alpine-style apartments with balconies and stunning mountain views. Built in 2007, it is family run and features a gym and sauna.
Apartments come with wooden furniture and tiled or wood floors. Each one has an LCD TV with satellite channels and a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge and microwave.
Guests have free Wi-Fi in public areas and a large sun terrace with deckchairs. Outdoor parking is free and a garage is also available. Discounts are available at a café next door for breakfast.
Residence Walsertal is 1.9 miles outside Gressoney-la-Trinité centre. It is next to the Monterosa Ski School and the tourist office for guided tours in summer and winter. Just 150 feet away you will find a supermarket, pub and restaurant. Gressoney Golf Club is 3.7 miles away.

Review 1：Unpredictable hot water from the shower, about half the time it was luke warm verging on cold. Review 7：Only Italian electricity sockets (you need an adapter for std EU plugs), and not much of them. Heaters work at some strange schedule, you'd better talk to the reception to adjust them. Only one set of keys, with no option to keep them at the reception (because it is only opened from 3pm to 7pm). No ski-out indeed. €7 per person for 30 minutes in sauna is somewhat too much.

Review 8：The residence is just at the end of a ski slope, so it's really ski-in. The ski room location is convenient. The apartment is cozy. Close to ski lifts (around 200m walk).

Review 9：Although this is self catering there are certain things that might beimproved for instance would it not be reasonable to provide a mini barof soap in the bathroom, adequate toilet paper and maybe at least saltin the kitchen. One is left having to buy simply everything

Review 10：The managers own the Ellex Hotel just down the road and are charming.Amenities are comfortable and basic

Review 11：Boot & ski room too hot. Although I had been in touch to confirm arrival time I was not advised that there would be nobody there so had to telephone to contact reception. If I had been warned of this would have been happy.
