Reviews for Ridgemill Estate

Review 1:WiFi was sadly lacking although it should have been there.

Review 2:The extras & their thoughtfulness. Extras inc bottle wine, cheese nibbly platter, fresh coffee machine & coffee pods.

Review 3:Upon arrival we were surprised to find a complementary bottle of Ridgemill Wine and assorted cheese and crackers. There was a coffee machine stocked with coffee pods, assorted teas, fresh bread, eggs, bacon and breakfast cereals to last us for the two mornings. So we were able to relax and enjoy the property instead of having to drive out and search for a breakfast restaurant. Fry pans, dishes, microwave, fireplace and the best hot shower. Excellent. Having travelled the world extensively this year, this little getaway so close to home was delightful and captured so well the essence of Australia's rural ethos.

Review 4:Isolation from restaurants - need to drive. Next time we will be more prepared for evening meals

Review 5:At a winery Self-contained cabins with a fireplace was what we were after & the cabin met our expectations & more

Review 6:For the price I think they should have king size beds. When you are going away its a little bit of luxury most people would like. Also the lack of information when checking in was not very good. The fires where lit and lasted about 5min. And no instructions where given regarding the air conditioning. Also the knock on the door at 10am on the dot by the cleaners was not appreciate.

Review 7:The rooms where quite nice. It was well thought out and appointed. The location and setting of the cabins where very nice.

Review 8:If anything to not like.it would only be the dirt road from the entrance to the cabins and reception.

Review 9:Very peaceful and welcoming staff. Cosy well equipped cabins just four in total.

Review 10:Only stayed 1 night. Should have stayed 2.

Review 11:Perfect for a couple of nights away from the rat race. Owners have thought of everything. Wouldn't change a thing :)

Review 12:The carpet in the living area had been burnt from the pot belly stove and the stove door had cracked glass. The outlook was quite bare and the studio itself lacked atmosphere and character. We also didn't read that we could have DVDs until after the reception had closed and there was just local TV. There was a shower only-no bath.

Review 13:It was convenient that we could book just the one night. It was a quiet location and included breakfast and a small platter and wine on arrival (not that rose would have been our wine of choice). The water was hot and the studio heated up well.

Review 14:The breakfast provisions were plentiful but it was a pity that healthier options were not included - eg low fat milk. low sugar cereals and wholemeal bread. Of course we appreciate that many would be content with that provided. The carpet in front of the fire was damaged from coals falling from the Fire. Some type of matting would cover the damage and protect it from further damage.

Review 15:Although the kitchen was very small it was well equipped and had crockery and cutlery for 4. It was lovely to receive a complimentary bottle of wine and we were impressed that they were willing to swap it for a style that we preferred.
