Reviews for Villa Rinascimento

Review 1:The pillows were to hard.

Review 2:A beautiful property on the hill side of the valley. The room (we stayed in the annex) were large, clean and comfortable. Just as we expected. Breakfast were good: Yogurt, eggs, bread, different kinds of cheese, ham, tomatoes, fruits, cakes... The dinner was of varying quality. Some things were souperb (like the risotto, or the ravioli), but some dishes were just ordinary.

Review 3:Very small shower enclosure; a locked door in the room that in fact led to another room, so that all the noises could be easily heard

Review 4:Nice place, great pool, stunning views

Review 5:Nothing!!!

Review 6:Beautiful hotel, set in a fantastic area stunning views all around, lovely cool room in apartment block, great pool with amazing view. Very good food and wine. Lovely staff very helpful. Just a great peaceful place.

Review 7:Friendly and helpful staff, and good value food. Great location - 20 minutes to Pisa or Lucca and about 1 hour to Florence. Lovely setting for a relaxed holiday.

Review 8:Toilet seat and basin cracked... we told the lady at reception as we were leaving.

Review 9:Quiet,peaceful after our long day of travel.Good wifi, parking on site. Breakfast included, eggs toast, museli, yoghurt cheese etc.

Review 10:Buffet style Breakfast is adequate but poor. The tennis court is in a poor state of repair...we had to fix the net with string and the surface is uneven.

Review 11:The staff are excellent, the building and setting is good, the pool is good. The tennis court is a lovely setting.

Review 12:The only minor criticism we had was the lack of tidying up and sweeping of the terrace and paths outside the hotel.

Review 13:We had a large very comfortable room in the main building and it was well worth paying the extra room rate for it as the rooms in the annexe are small and unexciting. The buffet breakfast was fine with all the usual breakfast fare (juices, yogurts, fruit, cereals, cold meats, cheese, rolls, croissants, scrambled and boiled eggs (cold) but no hot dishes. The dinner was excellent and extraordinarily good value at only 20 euros for 3 courses with a choice of 4 dishes on each course and the menu changed daily. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and were a great help with planning sightseeing days in Pisa, Lucca and Florence.

Review 14:Rooms and facilities are careworn and in need of a refresh. Bathroom in particular was old and worn-out. Splendour of a bygone era! Pool fantastic - big but area around it in need of some attention. Breakfast is basic compared to the room price!

Review 15:Staff very friendly and helpful. Main house is a lovely old villa. Room we were in was large but only one small window so quite dark. With a bit of renovation it could be fantastic! It's true that the location is great for getting out and about with generous carparking. The town Maria de Giudice is very small but provides a picturesque view. Evenings on the terrace with set menu & under shelter of a canopy meant shelter from rain. Choose a wine from the menu not the house wine!

Review 16:Bathroom was so small that you could only sit on the toilet then theshower doors where opened. Rooms are basic and a bit dated

Review 17:We would certainly recommend this stay; excellent location, nice viewsover the hills and good value dinner for 20 euro and good priced winesand friendly staff. Infinity pool has lovely views. We got an upgradeand stayed in the main building which was very nice.

Review 18:The location was perfect for visiting Lucca and the position of the hotel was beautiful. Very convenient for our return flight from Pisa to the UK and a very peaceful place to stay. Loved the pool,

Review 19:The hotel is in a beautiful location, easy to find. You can have your breakfast on the terrace with the wonderful view to the hills. It is great place to have some relax. Close to Pisa and Lucca, 15 mins drive only.

Review 20:Didn't have time to stay longer !

Review 21:Second time at this very pleasant location. Excellent for using Pisa airport. Gorgeous location, especially from the swimming pool vista. Staff friendly and helpful, would make a good base for exploring this part of Italy.

Review 22:Winding road but worth the drive

Review 23:Wonderful friendly staff

Review 24:Table service a bit disorganised, power problems.

Review 25:Beautiful location, great pool, friendly staff, good food, big room

Review 26:Stunning pool and views

Review 27:The room was not the best but we just stayed one night.

Review 28:We had the best food here and we traveled all of Italy. Very, very good food.

Review 29:Nothing

Review 30:We were recommended by friends who had stayed there . Lovely setting We had a fab meal on terrace very reasonable.

Review 31:This place is like a piece of a fairytale. Great location, awsome buildings, rooms and scenery. Breakfast was rich and dinner was good also.

Review 32:Annexs are too close together, not enough intimacy for a romantic break.

Review 33:Area, scenery, pool, staff

Review 34:There's only one thing we would recommend to improve is quality of dinner.

Review 35:Everything was fine!

Review 36:Breakfast was a bit samey.

Review 37:Beautiful hotel in a beautiful village near Lucca and Pisa.

Review 38:Nothing to say. Everything is just fine.

Review 39:The sourroundings. the nature, the lanscape are just fantastic. You are in the centre of a toscany countryside. The personnel is very friendly. The cotteges are clean and cosy.

Review 40:The breakfast could be better - better bread, better cheese. The restaurant has improved sine my last visit last year, but it is still not the same quality you'll find in and around Lucca. The weather is disappointing in May! Too cold to sit on the terrace for dinner!

Review 41:The location is fantastic. Peace, quiet, and beautiful views. Lucca - a magic city by itself - is just nearby. This is my favourite place to go to read and study, and find my inner peace. Almost a sanctuary! The terrace is a beautifuld place to sit, eat, drink a glass, and digest the beauty of it all.

Review 42:I suggest choosing the main building, it is a bit more expensive but in my opinion more comfortable. All in all, this is not a disadvantage that is what I've chosen and I suggest you to choose the option in main villa.

Review 43:Quiet area, marvelous views. Perfect, cheap wine in villa (glass only 2E :) ).

Review 44:We stayed in the separate building (the red one) and we were very satisfied with the room. The location is excellent, in between Lucca and Pisa (app.15 minutes to either of the cities). The hotel (an old and beautifull Villa) is overlooking a small village and there is a larger hill behind it, making this the perfect place the relax after a busy sightseeing. The rroms are cleand and the staff is nice and always present. Breakfast is included and there's more than enought to eat. The hotel features a beautiful terace (good prices for drinks), in and in the summer there seems to be a dance floor, tennis court and swimming pool. I would definitly recommend this hotel also for a longer stay.

Review 45:Nice position, close to Lucca and Pisa, more or less 10km. The breakfast is simple but good.

Review 46:Dogs friendly

Review 47:Can't think of anything.

Review 48:Lovely setting and excellent staff.

Review 49:Nice pool, great views and good food
