Review 1：Because I was travelling with a group of friends I booked through bookings.com so that the full amount wasn't charged to my credit card. I was hoping to arrive, check in and then each of us pay our bit. However when I went to check-in they'd already charged my card which I thought was a bit rude. The only other downside was the staff could learn to smile.

Review 15：The room was comfortable and clean. The location near Lake Wendouree was ideal for us. Probably not so good if you don't have your own transport. We had dinner each night at the City Oval Hotel - good pub meals and on site after long days for this 'old' couple.

Review 28：Check in time is too late for traveller @ 2pm. Some room should be released after cleaning around 11am and the rest progressively after that. Manage the cleaning and don't penalise the traveller or tourist to a beautiful city.

Review 30：Greeted by a very friendly and efficient Manageress Had a fantastic suite room overlooking an oval. Spotlessly clean and beautifully comfortable. Couldn't have asked for more! Loved our stay.

Review 33：Sandra was a very cheerful entrance to the motel and was as helpful as she could possibly be. Meals delivered for my evening meal from the hotel next door were very nice, and great as I was at the hospital with my mother in the day so it was wonderful not to worry about going out at night to eat. The room was spotless as was the rest of the place. The added free wi fi and laundry facilities were a great bonus.

Review 39：We tried a few drinks at the bar before going out. We had been travelling and some nibbles would have been nice, nothing until 5.30. Plus the beer kept going frothy when the batman tried to poor it. I like to drink from pots with handles, you only had 2.
