Review 4：Very charming and cozy hotel. Very comfortable beds. Amazing terrace overlooking the mountains. We got best of both worlds, comfort and nature in one place. We skipped breakfast because we arrived very late and exhausted the night before and upon check out the gentleman at the reception offered us coffee and biscuits, he was very kind and gave us a lot of useful information about the area.

Review 8：Nice staff and clean and tidy rooms. Breakfast was really good too. Location perfect just a few hundred meters from the ski lifts in Staffal and direct access to the hotel from the slopes.

Review 9：Wifi... hahaha, it´s nothing but a joke. The Internet wasn´t working good at all. Stopped working att 10pm one day, and they didn´t manage to get it working until almost 5 pm next day. The manager kept saying we hadn´t told him, but we told the reception already early in the morning, but we only got the answer "work here"... Came home 3 pm from skiing, no internet, told the reception, and we were asked to go down the village where there was free internet!!! We asked them to compensate for the lack of internet by having free SPA (very expensive, 14 Euro per person for a sauna and a hot tub), but no... not even going 3 for the price of 2! Very disappointed on staff and managers service level to customer. The intenet is a joke. We measured capacity several times, mostly it was about 0,2 - 0,4 Mbps... IN A HOTEL W 21 ROOMS!!! Why state Wifi is free when it´s not working!!! Poor breakfast.

Review 13：Shower could be bigger... This is not a complain, just an advice, in the winter, double check your chains, because of the snow is hard to reach the hotel!

Review 15：If you are a skier the position is excellent (if there is snow :-) ), but in case you are not a skier or you are not skiing, in Staffal there is not much to do and you need a car or to take the shuttle to go to the villages down in the valley.

Review 16：We stayed in a lovely sleeping room with balcony. The lobby is cosy and for the skiers the sky room is large, heated and connected to the rooms with the hotel lift.

Review 18：We really appreciated the location (ski in/ski out in Gressony/Staffal). Ellex is a nice fairly new hotell with facilities such as, a mini-spa, sauna, easy to book a massage, great service, besides nice rooms (we had three double rooms). The owners and staff gave great support and helped us with several very good dinner options in the Gressony area (we had opted for breakfast only).

Review 21：The evening menu could have more salads and vegetables to choose from. The playroom for kids deserves re-equipment with some new toys. This has nothing to do with the hotel: if you plan to book individual skiing lessons for your kids it is advisable to do it before the arrival on +39 0125 366 015 (local ski school), the demand is quite high and you may end up with either early morning or late afternoon lessons.

Review 22：Very helpful staff - we had a problem with a cold room but they helped us solve it quickly. Cosy though relatively small rooms. Very nice sitting area in the hall, with a fireplace - ideal to have a beer and a chat with your neighbours. Excellent breakfast. Playroom for kids. Good access to the slopes - just across the parking area, some 200-300 m.
