Review 8：Located just 1 min walk from the railway station and about 5 min from bus terminal. The main pedestrian street - Rigas iela - is 100 m from the hotel. Standard twin room appeared to be a large one with windows and even a small balcony. Nicely furnished, wi-fi, tv, fridge, microwave, some kitchenware. Polite and friendly personnel.
Review 9：After travelling for 4 hours we arrived at the Guest House at 18.00 hrs to find that it was all locked up ! We knocked on both doors and pressed the bell for 5 minutes before we walked away and returned 30 minutes latter.Eventually a receptionist opened the door after another 5 more minutes pressing the bell and knocking on the doors ! Unhappy!
Review 10：Clean, big room with large satellite TV . This place is close to the railway station and 10 minutes walk from the bus station.
Review 11：The walls in the building are very thick - that was probably the reason why WiFi signal was close to non-existent in our room, I could connect only in the corridor. The administration promised to check router placement. With their great attitude I am sure they've done everything now.
Review 12：Excellent communication. Staff is very helpful, provided us with a room with larger fridge as we asked. Huge TV in the room. The room itself was also well above average.
Review 13：As I told already, room was located on the first floor, we heard everything, what was happening in the hallway. Somebody was hanging around all night long and running outside for smoking till 2 am (feeling, like those people are in your room), there is no soundproof at all.
Review 14：Actually, this is the best place for stay in Daugavpils. Since bigger hotels like Latgola and Villa Ksenija are not interested in customers at all (even if you are ready to pay about 150 euro per night), guest house Aleksandria is on the top of its service as always! We choose lux room and it was perfect! The only downside is that room located on the first floor.
Review 15：It's just the best place among others in Daugavpils. the only moment, there is no permanent receptionist. You need to call in order to get a key. It took only 5 minutes, but still was quite cold to wait outside.

Review 20：Comfy, spacious, but very warm, rooms. Good location, very quiet area( but still near city centre). In rooms huge bed, clean bedding, well equipped kitchen, plenty cups and plates.
Review 21：The place was perfect for us. A tastefully renovated bright and clean room in an older house, one block away from the train station. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. This is by far the nicest place I've stayed at, during my three visits in the Baltic countries.

They rely on an email or call to tell them you are arriving otherwise the place can be unattended. No milk with tea. Very noisy and echo-ridden inside when doors are used. Review 71：Very difficult to find with no obvious signs, meant a few wanders up and down to find it even though we knew more or less where it was!
Review 72：Good location right opposite the rail station and a short walk to city centre. Very spacious room with microwave and crockery etc allowed us to buy some food and make own breakfast as although its possible to order this could not be early enough for us. The TV was spectacularly large!!
