Review 1：Perfect, amazing and lovely staying at La Casa Medioevale! Filomena, her husband Massimo and their cutes kids are one lovely family and hosts. Being there was a magic experience! All the structure is excellent. Bedroom, bathroom, breakfast, the beautiful garden and swimming pool. All hotel things are looked after and made with much love and affection by Filomena. In addition to a wonderful stay, Filomena was essential in helping me in a very important and special moment of my life. I am so grateful and I have a special affection for that. Thank you so much Filo! :) P.S. Filo, I have not forgotten the e-mail that I have to write to you ... In a few days I will write!

Review 2：Beautifully renovated property in the heart of Tuscany with the added bonus of a swimming pool with plenty of space for all the guests. Our host was fluent in English and was very helpful with tips of where to visit.

Review 4：We LOVED our stay! If there's a room left, book it. NOW! Before someone else takes it and they'll have a wonderful time instead of you. The house was beautiful, the host charming, the garden fantastic and the pool great! But the best part was the food. If you like genuin home cooked tuscan food that is. The Bruschettas was perfect, the mozarella, the artichokes and the host (she) even made us a special pasta dish just for us when she heard that's why we came to Toscana. And it was a perfectly done pasta with eggplant and tomatoes! We could go on and on about this place. But we wont. Just go already.

Review 6：Our hostess, Filomena and host, Massimo, were a caring, friendly, engaging couple. Filo's evening meals were wonderful, and the wine/food parings were spot on. Our apartment suited us very well, and the setting of La Casa Medioevale is magical. We met fellow travelers who became our friends, which made it difficult for us to see them go. Filo made suggestions for day trips that were really helpful, and she went out of her way when we had a minor problem. Our two weeks flew by all too quickly. Ciao, Filo, y grazie mille.

Review 7：It was great to stay in La Casa Medioevale. Filomena and Massimo make the most of your stay letting you taste real Tuscan food and wine in a relaxed and cheeful atmosphere. We would definetly stay with them again.

Review 8：The only small criticism is if you intended to self cater in the apartment the equipment was limited.

Review 9：Here we stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen. The owners were very friendly and we loved the relaxed atmosphere of the place. The location had everything we wanted, in the hills but with in easy driving distance of Pisa and Florence. In fact we took the train to Florence on the recommendation if the owner. There is a large garden around the house and the pool was very welcome in the Tuscan heat.

Review 11：I would highly recommend La Casa, (and am already doing so). We had a most magical week there in June and were lucky to be able to enjoy a couple of barbecues and a couple of other meals of local Tuscan food out under the stars. Our host family were delightful and Filomena so helpful and informative. The olive groves were full of fireflies as we returned on foot from a good meal in the town of Lamporecchio. The gardens and pool were a delight with far reaching views over the Arno plain and surrounding mountains. We enjoyed meeting our fellow guests from many nations and in particular a chance to watch England/Italy world cup match. Review 20：Filomena is the perfect host, serves wonderful dinners and drinks in the lovely garden. The swimming pool is the place to relax after visiting the different cities like Firenze, Pisa, Vinci, Siena, etc. or the beach, all within reasonable driving distance distance (or if you prefer you can take the train from Empoli). It was like coming home in the evening! The rooms are well equipped (good working airco which you absolutely need) and lovely designed. Absolutely a place where you will want to return.

Review 21：Because the accomodcation was fully booked, we got the appartement but the airco didn't manage to lower the temperature enough. Lamporecchio itself was a little bit disappointing, but there are enough nice places nearby to visit and have lunch or dinner.

Review 22：The total setting in which we stayed: very friendly and helpfull staff, location of the house, beautiful surrounding, distance to other famous cities/towns (Florence, Sienna etc.), trainstation nearby (Empoli) (30 min drive), nice atmosphere amongst guests. Very comfortable and pleasant stay, real relaxation.

Review 28：What an amazing place! Lovingly restored, the house is cool and comfortable. The rooms are beautifully decorated and original features have been retained giving a real rustic but very chic feeling. Philomena is a phenomenal host!.. You are left to enjoy the gorgeous pool, the comfortable furniture dotted in areas around the property and the views across the olive trees. But she is there if needed, full of info and suggestions to help you make the most of the location.. This is an ideal base for Pisa, Lucca or Florence.. To return to the tranquil casa after a hot day sightseeing is like returning home. Dinner is offered every evening.. Do not turn it down!! :) It will be an amazing experience!.. The chef takes time to produce the most delicate pasta and local dishes with ingredients from the garden.. We have returned with renewed taste buds!! :) Breakfast is served under white sails in the garden.. Beautiful. All I can say is that we feel we have made new, true friends at Casa Medioevale.

Review 31：It was a fantastic location about 1 hour from all the main attractions of Tuscany yet in a great country setting The home cooked meals produced each night were a real treat as it gave us a great flavor of local produce . Philomena and her two young kids were fantastic and really made us feel at home I would highly recommend this place to people who like to tour around without the hordes of tourists
