Review 1：The wifi connection The music from the bar at the square in the night was pretty loud
Review 2：Excellent service, friendly staff, beautiful location, clean and neat room Italy is always awesome!
Review 3：Wi-fi was very slow. The "breakfast" included only coffee/tea, not sure it can be considered as real breakfast. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear almost everything that's happening in the hall. Somewhere very close almost the ground floor of the hostel there should be a disco or something because we heard all the nights (even Monday) the music playing. Besides the disco there is a railway just under the window.

Review 6：We stayed for one night and the room was what we were looking for. The room was clean and decent size in great location. Staff was friendly and gave us lots of tips for the city. A value for money hotel.
Review 7：The hotel everything that a traveller would need and nothing more. Which is exactly why it's great. Location (100m from fish market and 300m from medieval city square and the duomo) is the biggest advantage of the place. Staff is very helpful. Elektra made sure we had all we needed and gave insider advice on where to go in Catania.
Review 8：That if you check in after 22 o'clock, you have to pay a little bit extra, but everything else was amazing and Catania is a wonderful place to visit! (Surprised about the lack of supermarkets though).
Review 9：Everything is close and the location is the best. It is near the fish market and the railway, but that was not a disadvantage at all. Breakfast was also very tasty and the room was clean and modern.
Review 10：too many stairs that take your breath . we where left alone not even a person in charge of the hostel , no breakfast not even a coffee or tea . the owner said to us the next next she was going to make us breakfast and we found nothing not even a person
Review 11：- toilet was not flashed! - we had to wait very long time before check-in, because straff member left her workplace inspite of the fact that we called in advance to tell the time of our arrival - the building is situated near the railway, so you can imagine how noisy it is in the night - no elevator - no soap provided

Review 14：The Hostel has an excellent location in the heart of Catania, it is just around the corner of the street markets and in the morning you get the “italian feeling” straight away! The Hostel has new clean and big rooms and you get your breakfast in a local bar nearby – a very nice idea. Although we almost arrived in the middle of the night due to flight delayment, the lady was very helpful and extremely friendly. We definitely recommend it! Tipp: a big busstop is nearby (nonstop to the airport) and it is a good idea to start in Catania without a car.

Review 17：The room we stayed in had a view to the train tracks. Which were full of trash. Also right after the train tracks, there's a restaurant which plays live music in the night. So if you want a silent place to sleep after returning from the city, forget it. The owner doesn't speak a word in English. What's worse she doesn't even try to explain it in gestures or any other way. She just talks all the time and hopes that somehow we'll magically understand her. Which is kinda silly since it's a hostel and it's always full of foreigners.
Review 18：Pretty good location, having in mind that a lot of things are really near. Clean and newly decorated room. Good wifi. Recommended if you're searching for a budget place for a very short stay.

Review 26：The crew was great!! The room very nice- clean evrey day, with privet toilet&shower (hot water) , very comftrbel bed. In our room we had also 32 ince LCD TV, wood floor & 2 small balcony (Room 5). There is free wi-fi and fridgh to keep food cold. The place located (50 meter) near bus center - 10 min' to the beach, 15 min' to the airport- only 1euro by bus (don't use taxi!!!) etna st & duomo sq is 5 min' walking (a lot of restorant and shops) There is a fish & fruit market few steps away. we get copons to eat brekfast every day ( briosh or korasont with coffee -very good) All the crew was really great!!! Tanks !!!

Review 54：We had previously stayed at the owners other property, Aqua del Arte, about 4 years ago and it was outstanding. However as it was full this time we thought their other property would offer a similar high standard. Part of the reason we booked was that they offered parking. Now when we collected our rental car there was a warning stuck to all the desks about on street parking in all of Catania and especially the via Christopher Columbus area. Plus we were specifically told not to park on the street because of the high risk of car theft. When we checked in we were told there was parking round the corner for €10, however we could not find it it. I went back and was told it was ok to park on the street, at this point I insisted that as they offered parking, I wanted it. I was then offered parking in their courtyard for €10 which I accepted. When I came to pay I was only charged €5. The lady handled this very graciously however I felt it would not have been offered without me becoming assertive. Well although I am on holiday I still need wifi to run my business. In our room there was none, I had to sit in the office to use it and later stand in the hallway. Not good enough. The Toilet seat was not fixed on. The sheets were thin and cheap. None of this would be an issue if the price was €35, but for €63 I did expect more. Two more things you should know. The building is literally on the main train line. It also overlooks clubs that play music to the small hours. Then there is the sound of them setting up the fish market at dawn. None of this was an issue for us as we accept that as being part of being so close to everything, but you need to know. Also you will need to carry your bags up and down 3 flights of stairs. This was not the standard that we expected for the money charged.
