Review 1：Cleanliness could be better - surface dust on check-in, litter oncorridor floors and around the hotel building throughout the stay, noproper maintenance of the swimming pool (including its water area).Cleaners did not wipe windows or balcony glass, yet never failed toshow how busy they were in the morning with noise and talk. The barfridge did not cool properly (at best 10c), and the bath had shabby worn-out sealing. The beach is nearby but you are asked to pay 10 eur a dayplus 2 eur for towels - ridiculous for a place with a 150-200 eur pricetag in the middle of a village (mind you it's not Taormina with itspast chic). And finally do not expect to see any taxis at the railwaystation - it's best to check the transit route in advance, which isabout 10 min walk.
Review 2：Location - not far from Messina (I.E. mainland), local train station andthe vicinity - the hotel is certainly the epicenter of local community.The beach is rocky but bearable compared to some other places (includingNice in France - no wonder Nizza di Sicilia is next railway stop), andit is not crowded - you can lie next to water at any time of the day.The hotel itself is of modern design with good view of the sea not justfrom the rooms, but also from the pool area. Wifi is of good quality, sois air-conditioning.
Review 3：No sea side room look directly to another building (5 meter). On breakfast (3 days) nobody say hallo, offer a table, ask for coffee… Firs day we went on swimming pool and there is a 10 local people with their friend DJ who is jelling, screaming, splashing. All hotel guest left the poll in 15 minute until only they stay.

Sea view a must as rear ("Etna" view) looks oververy unattractive, some dilapidated, town properties Be aware beach isacross main road. We used it for its easy access to area roundabout.
