Reviews for B&B Siciliò

Review 1:Breakfast was rather ordinary compared to what we experienced in otrher B&Bs in same price range.

Review 2:B&B only a few steps away from rail station to catch train to Palermo for a 20min ride. Also, shops and restaurants in walking distance, car parked in front of entrance. Room was very clean, spacious and modern.

Review 3:Great place and great host! Very helpful, easy-going, chilled. Sicilio has small patios, and an equipped kitchen. In the morning you get nice breakfasts during which you can have a chat with the host and get to know smth/smth more about Sicilians. Deli nearby . Sicilio is close to Palermo (-if needed). Nice places to visit, rather small but also nice beaches next The Tyrrhenian Sea.

Review 4:No laundromat facilities in area. Pillows were too thick and firm. Perhaps another choice of a thinner, "fluffier" pillow would produce less neck strain.

Review 5:Location in Santa Flavia, a few blocks from the train station,20 min train ride from Palermo Centrale. Excellent, relaxed breakfast. Freedom to use kitchen facilities to cook, prepare meals and eat. Knowledgeable, English speaking, Sicily loving, responsive host. Reasonable rates.

Review 6:The best quality in a more than fair price! B&B Sicilio is very comfortable, modern yet with Sicilian twist (i.e. private terrace facing the side street) The host is wonderful - speaks English fluently and is extremely helpful! We had a problem with broken tire and he helped us arrange all car workshop things. He serves great breakfasts and your best coffee ever. Don't sleep in Palermo! B&B Sicilio is located 5 minutes walk from the train station and you can reach Palermo in next 15 minutes by train convinently. We had a wonderful stay.

Review 7:We absolutely liked everything about the house, breakfast, room with terrace and friendly Nino and his wonderful mother. House just few minutes from train station for visiting Palermo and walking distance from fabulous Archaeological site Solunto.

Review 8:We had a fantastic stay at the B&B Sicilio. Nino was a great host, very helpful and informative. Santa Flavia is a beautiful small town and our five night stay gave us a true feel of what it's like to live in Sicily. The small markets, the friendly close knit community where it seems everybody knows everybody else.. We felt perfectly safe walking around the town late at night, and loved spending time on our private terrace attached to the room. The cost and the quality of the B&B makes this the best value in all of Italy. We hated to leave.. Thanks Nino for everything. We will be back

Review 9:the owner (?) offended that we arrived 5 minut to 9 p.m. (check-in hour), the badroom outside the room

Review 10:big, confortable rooms, private terrace with tumble dryer, good location in quiet place

Review 11:The conditions of the room were above our expectations: - everything is new, clean, spacious and well-designed - air conditioning - a large king-size bed - a very good wifi - a TV set with a flat screen The host speaks English, is very friendly and comunicative. The best breakfast in Italy! A variety of rolls, and croisants, yoghurt, juice, fruits and great coffee. We had an access to the kitchen with bottled water and juice. Private entrance.

Review 12:Perfect location, host and environment for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The day starts with a delicious breakfast that you can enjoy in the patio. The location of the B&B is great for visiting the best beaches of the west side of Sicily as well as charming villages like Cefalú. It is very well connected by road (if you rent a car) and by train (station is 5 min walking and only takes 20 min to go to Palermo). Food and drinks in the local restaurants it's tasty and truly Sicilian. The perfect place away from the crowded and touristic sites.

Review 13:I asked the question why the price is that low for that high standard services. I liked the answer - I don't want to be rich, I want to be kind. And I believed him.

Review 14:The breakfast is very like elsewhere in Sicilia, which means a croissant and a cup of coffee. Not much creativity. Breakfast was served with no communication with guests. They could do better.

Review 15:Although the owner was friendly and spoke English quite well, he looked not very much interested in his guests. Convenient location for visiting Palermo by train.

Review 16:Located close to a short rail link into Palermo. Very helpful owner, Niño - bedroom was very comfortable - nice, simple breakfast - very reasonable rates- close to very affordable eating places-patio area off each bedroom was a bonus - we would stay again

Review 17:Nothing

Review 18:Friendly family hosts with lots of local information, street plans etc. Parking in quiet street. Own room with own bathroom attached, and free access to shared kitchen if needed. Very near to impressive Roman site of Soluntum. Very good value for money.

Review 20:New modern room with small garden seating. Lovely fresh breakfast with broad selection of italian sweets including fruit. Very clean room and shared bathroom. We got local map and very useful advices what to visit. Free parking next to the property. Possibility to use a kitchen.

Review 21:Lack of local buses and taxis .

Review 22:Private entrance and patio . Good communication with owner, who speaks good English . Continental breakfast enjoyable . Easy access to autostrada and railway station .

Review 24:Quite place for holidays. Very fun and friendly owner, who pictured all good restorans and cafes on the city maps:)) delicious breakfast, clean rooms. Give our recomends for this flat!!!:))

Review 25:Shabby "downtown", therefore fits only as a stop if you are planning to explore the surrounding area and towns nearby.

Review 26:Best value ever. Good location as long as you have a car, free parking was available right in front of the property. Clean property, residential neighborhood. Eating out and food shopping in a shot walking distance.

Review 27:Good connection to Palermo (only 5 minutes walk to the railway station in Santa Flavia and 18 minutes by train). Our room was very clean, modern equipped with nice terrace.

Review 37:We liked everything

Review 38:The best B&B we've stayed in so far. Perfectly placed for a quick train trip into Palermo, very comfortable, clean, parking available beside our accom. We could prepare meals in the kitchen and eat on either of 2 terraces. Our hosts were every helpful and offered excellent service.

Review 39:Rooms are very nice furnished. Owner was very helpful. Nino spent time with us to find gasoil station on late Sunday evening and he kindly prepared us breakfast for very early morning hours. He recommended us an excellent pub / tratoria with typical Sicilian food. Nino has definitely found out what travellers looking for from his own experience travelling around the world. Family from Slovenia

Review 40:We chose this B&B because it was close to Palermo but not in the city. In fact it would be easy to use it as a base and take the train in as the station was within easy walking distance. We were given a map of the area and enjoyed going down to the harbour as well as scrambling over the local ruins which were in a superb position overlooking the sea. The sea-food restaurants at the harbour were excellent though Santa Flavia could have benefitted from a good trattoria. The B&B was beautifuuly furnished and in a location where parking was easy.

Review 41:The breakfast was fine, nothing special. Also, be aware that there are not many restaurants nearby, so you have to drive to most of the diner options (That wasn't so bad, but you should know that).

Review 42:The B&B is very nice and clean, very well designed and located at Santa Flavia, which is a very quiet and safe area, not so far from the main road, nice place to come back to after a trip at the north Sicilia. Also, the staff is kind and helpful and there was a lot of parking space at the streets.

Review 43:Nino the owner of this small B&B was very helpfull and recommended places and restaurants to visit. Breakfast was good. You have the liberty to come and go from your room as there is a private entrance. The place and room/bathroom spotless clean and in a quiet area with ample space for parking.

Review 44:- Public parking on the street (although back street is reasonably quiet)

Review 45:- Close to sea - Friendly and helpfull staff with knowledge about the area - Close to train station - Private entrance

Review 46:Nothing at all

Review 47:Everything, excellent decor and cleanliness through out, this bed and breakfast presentation is one of the best we have stayed in. 10/10

Review 48:no complaints at all
