Reviews for Camping Baia Saraceno

Review 1:Ancient bathroom with no place to put things, people wash up and clean theeth in the same place, often no hot water in the shower. Crowded place, dusty road through the campsite.

Review 2:Next to the sea, nice bar.

Review 3:Our Tuluk/Cabin was surrounded by caravans, so close we could hear all conversations. It has nothing to do with the pictures you'll found. The bathroom/toilet was a disaster, those at the back of the camp site. We had no space to put the table+chairs provided in a proper area in front.

Review 4:The location is quite nice, so close to the sea.The Tuluk/Cabin on the boat accommodation is a little bigger than expected. Facing the sea right in front.

Review 5:- no proper beach, - every inch of this place was filled with campers, - garbage cans were attached to our "cabine"; - it was so hot and not ventilated we had to sleep with door open, there was no fan; - no closet in the room to unpack; - the room smelled; - shared bathrooms (either showers and toilets) were unpleasant + there was no soap nor toilet paper; one that was closest to our "cabine" was for either women and men.

Review 6:we didn't have to pay for more than 1 night we actually stayed

Review 7:To get to the main beach in the area you have to have a car, unless you like a long walk before swimming. There are a few places in the camp, where you can go swimming in the sea but these are very small "wild beaches". We also recomend not buying bottled water in the camp market, cause it's rather expensive - 1€ per bottle whereas in supermarket you get it for 0,22€.

Review 8:Our bungalow was close to everything we needed - shared bathrooms, bar, market and the beach were all less than a minute walk away. The center was also rather close - only about 15 minutes away on foot, where you can travel with ferry to La Maddalena. We had our own table and two chairs where we could relax in front of our bungalow.

Review 9:Unfortunately very hot in mid July (no air-con), bad air inside, cause there's just 1 small window, had to had the doors open, causing the mosquito attack.

Review 10:Nice little cottage, we had see view, when we placed a table outside to have dinner. A table and 2 chair in the cottage - very handfull. Placed in a nice camp, walking distance to the Palau (15 min walk). Good alternative to tent, if you want a bit more comfort in a camp.

Review 11:The service in the restaurant was the worst we had in Sardegna. No real window, so no fresh air in the room - maybe thats the cabine style...

Review 12:Atmosphere was nice, toilets were clean.

Review 13:The bungalow we stayed in did not have a kitchen, maybe other ones do. it was also quite outdated making it look dirty although i think it had been cleaned. On the nighttime we were kept awake by loud music. Im not sure where it came from but it went on till 3am.

Review 14:The camping was right on the coast and had its own beach. This was great! It was also really close to Palau where you can enjoy restaurants, a market and get the ferry to La Maddalena.

Review 15:It gets pretty hot in the summer. The bungalows need a ventilator to have a reasonable sleep. Even a small one.

Review 16:The location is really nice and there are good facilities for camping (shady zones, restaurant, market). There is a refrigerator in the room which is very handy in the summer.

Review 17:Only small 'issue' with the tukul was the lack of ventilation and the mozzie nets (or lack of). A small window in the roof and an electric fan (for rent) and could have stayed months in this place... like I said almost perfect.

Review 18:Location and facilities of the campsite were great. We stayed in a tukul (hut), and for the price cannot complain. Bed was comfy, table and chairs a useful touch and plenty big enough. A couple more touches and would be amazing.

Review 19:everything that can be broken was broken in the bungalow. doors that don't close, etc...badly laid out bungalow with no facilities at all other than a toilet and shower.

Review 20:proximity to the beach and town, the on-site taverna

Review 21:Im not sure but i think there were not a washing machine for clothes, there was signs for that but we never find it..

Review 22:Camping had everything what anyone would need.( bar, pizzeria, shop, kayak rent) Place is situated in a beautiful coast and it was clean! Personal were really nice!

Review 23:WC facilities, mainly the secondary ones, weren't so good, poor lighting at night and doors falling apart. Tuks, Bungalows, Tents, Campers and cars are spread around the site with no visible criteria, seems a bit chaotic.

Review 24:Location of the "tuk" cabins, right by the sea with a lovely view to La Maddalena Island Restaurant is very good with a nice variety of Italian dishes

Review 25:poor wifi connection even if on website was indicated the wifi is accessible. there was a possibility to pay extra (quite a lot) for speedy internet.Which I found not really fair.

Review 26:place and nature around was very nice. Also the bathrooms and WC were very clean

Review 27:The beach where is located is not good I booked a bungalow for a price higher than the other options and when we arrived they didn't honor/neither reimbursed what I booked. I showed my reservation and they told me I should complain with booking.com Didn't make sense at all.

Review 28:The emplacement is very good, and the camping itself has very good services and is very close, walking distance from the town.

Review 29:A bit over priced. A Caravan for 81€ a night is too much.

Review 30:Nice position. Near the centre and port. A pleasent 1km walk. But away from city noise. Cool staff. Helpful.

Review 31:The food at the restaurant on site was absolutely superb. We ate out in the local towns on a couple of nights and the standard of food just didn't compare so we decided to just work our way through the vast menu! We highly recommend the mussels and the house wine went down a treat! The Tukul we stayed in was very basic but you get what you pay for! (Recommend taking a fan if stayinging in August, it was very hot at night). Would highly recommend this clean and friendly resort.

Review 32:The first two caravan they proposed us were lacking in cleanliness.

Review 33:Location. A lot of services available. Next to Palau and you swim in private beaches in front of Maddalena and caprera. Wonderful

Review 34:No towels in the bungalow. Had to use the spare sheet as a towel.

Review 35:Nice campsite. Stayed in the Self Catering Bungalow

Review 36:Very nice place, clean shared bathroom, excelent camp restaurant, reception until 21h

Review 37:Bungalows need an electric fan and kettle.

Review 38:Location and cheap bar and well stocked market. Easy going atmosphere.

Review 39:Small beach area

Review 40:Clean toilettes, good location, quiet area, helpful staff

Review 41:the free wifi is very slow and to pay 4 EUR/day for wifi is a bit too much.

Review 42:Good location, nice and clean, helpful staff.

Review 43:With hot weather, the small bungalow turns into a hostile environment, as there is no window to make a draft

Review 44:Location, camping restaurant

Review 45:Showers a bit bof but still correct.

Review 46:Amazing view! Great location!

Review 47:Just not having a bathroom.

Review 48:Beauty

Review 49:Nothing

Review 50:The position of our mobile home, right on the water with our own little beach.

Review 51:The sea view from our tuklu. The old trees.

Review 52:Great location and very well run friendly camp site. It's not a hotel - I loved my open air kitchen at the caravan I had.

Review 53:Price for accommodation just a little bit steep.

Review 54:Great food, attractive waitresses, great swimming, good base for Sea kayaking. Good fascilities

Review 55:staff bulgalow low standards

Review 56:location

Review 57:posizione, vista, pulizia, tranquillità

Review 58:Bar staff were rude and unhelpful

Review 59:Most of the staff were excellent and welcoming, facilities were great and the location to the centre was ideal.

Review 60:No power-outlet in the "Tuku"

Review 61:Good location, camping not too busy, even in high season

Review 62:Nice little houses

Review 63:Great location on the sea front with a private beach, very clean, friendly environment. Short walk to the town.

Review 64:i don t recommend to sleep in the "tukul" because it was very humid and hot definitely better to sleep on a tent

Review 65:location is perfect to go to maddalena island and the surrounding area bathroom (to be a camping) are clean

Review 66:But difficult to find the booked house in the camping territory becauce of three different numeration - written on the given card, on the map and on the house.

Review 67:Easy to find the camping. Very kind staff. Nice view from the mobile houses to the Maddalena Archipelago. Fascinating to walk along the rocks on the beach. Excellent pizza in the camping Pizzeria/restaurant. The nearby Palau market was plentiful and different from others!

Review 68:Public transport is not so great, it was difficult to access other areas of Sardinia, being based out of Palau. I recommend taking your car along, if possible.

Review 69:Beautiful nature, incredible beaches! The island of Sardinia is simply outstanding! Palau is a nice, small resort to stay for a few days.

Review 70:The supports under the mattress of the caravan were not very strong/even, could do with replacing.

Review 71:proximity to Palau, only 10 minutes walk away, yet peaceful.

Review 72:A bit expensive for the standard.

Review 73:Awesome location at the beach. Clean beach. Surprisingly clean and nice bungalov. Good food and great coffee in the restaurant.

Review 74:1. The bungalow is very hot inside, there is only one tiny window 2. We could not close the door from inside.

Review 75:Good camping sites. Close to the sea side. Recommend only if you have tight budget, especially if you come to Palau in hot season.

Review 76:The staff is a bit reckless, as they picked up my belongings from courier without my permission and any notice left at my bunglow. Toilets and showers are outdated and dirty.

Review 77:There is a minimarket, restaurant, bar and two small beaches at the camping. Located quite near to the bus stop and ferry terminal at Palau, the way to the camping is well marked with signs on the way from there.

Review 78:There is no common kitchen area (but we got a barbecue set from the staf for 1 night for free) Inside restaurant is relatively expensive and not outstanding, but fine.

Review 79:Staff is very friendly and helpful. Camping is in a very charming part of Palau, just at the seaside. You can find small, intimate places to relax, sunbath and swim w/o many tourists beside you.

Review 80:We stayed in a hut which had a tiny window... very stuffy in it.

Review 81:it's a camping site, very well looked after but with less comfort then the classical hotels.

Review 82:Internet didn´t work well.

Review 83:The emplacement is amazing. You have the sea in the camping. The girl who works in the camping is very kind and can speak English. You have Palau, the city, very near walking through the beach.

Review 84:A bit more information could have been provided within the bungalowrelating to facility opening times.

Review 85:Helpful staff made us feel very welcome and were able to answerquestions we had about boat trips to the nearby islands. The bungalow westayed at was clean and tidy and gave us a good nights sleep at acampsite without the need for camping. Close enough to walk to theharbour as long as you don't mind 15-20 mins in the heat.

Review 86:There is not conditioner in a boongalow

Review 87:Excellent location - on bank of a see.

Review 88:Services close for a long lunch break. And the office gave me wrong information on these closures.

Review 89:location - fine views

Review 90:the View

Review 91:We loved the restaurant and the cabin was very quaint and simple. Really lovely location and easy to get to Palau and La Maddalena.

Review 92:the smell in the bathrooms

Review 93:romantic seaside view the little houses :-)

Review 95:Location Restaurant

Review 96:They don't speak english

Review 97:Very peacefull place

Review 98:We only miss a heating sistem! Because it was cold outside.

Review 99:Very nice bungalous. Camping place on good position.
