Review 1：Old and faded place with a strange smell. No sound isolation, so a lot of noise from the street. Some of the staff don`t speak any english, although they tried to be helpful. No point in booking breakfast as it is only an italian breakfast in a bar one block away.

Review 4：The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet included many different kinds of food and the setting for the buffet with views of Sicily and the beach/sea was spectacular.

Review 9：The hotel was being renovated so our balcony was covered by scaffolding, we were not advised this would be the case. The room was old, the furniture looked like it survived from the 70s (not the good type) the bathroom could have used a shower screen not shower curtain (something I would let slide had everything else been ok) there were no accessible power points (I pulled the tv out and used that one), we needed a map and were told they ran out and we could go across the road to the partner hotel and get one...
