Review 1：Hotel is more than 20 years old so upkeep and maintenance of guest room might need more attention. Some guest rooms and bathroom might be due for upgrading. Overall still a good hotel for family.

Review 3：The staff was really excellent. We asked to be transferred from a smoking room to a non smoking room and without extra cost we got a bigger room. And the room offered a great view of the station.

Review 4：Room was clean and well appointed, the bars had a cover charge and the pool required payment also which seemed a bit rich. The pillows were also not amazing.

Review 8：There are many hotels within a 5 minute walk of the train station. Don't get distracted by this hotel's location inside the station. We paid too much for the worst room on our 12 day itinerary. It also appears to be a Japanese "businessman" hotel - interpret that liberally.

Staff are very helpful and hotel facilities although not 5 star more than adequate for travelling needs, loved the free washing and drying machines, vending machines, microwave etc available 24 hours

Review 24：Hotel is linked to JR Okayama station so well placed for weary travellers! Very helpful, pleasant and polite staff and good in-room facilities. Reception spoke very good English but were glad to help out when trying out Japanese language. I had hurt my ankle and needed an extra pillow to keep it raised - room service brought it (and some extra sugar for my husband) within a few minutes of asking for it. Good breakfast with wide choice of both western and japanese food.

Usually this kind of hotels in Japan have more stylish and modern rooms. - All in all not horrible but definitely ageing and not perfect on cleanliness.

We could actually see the trains from our window. - The room was very quiet despite being so close from the train station. - We had a "semi-double room" but it was not tiny and the bed was large enough for two (not a semi-double bed). - Staff was welcoming and helpful.

This is not a positive or a negative but when you walk into the lobby you will feel under dressed unless you have a suit on, and if you tell anyone in town where you are staying they think you are very well off.
