The location of hotel is excellent - surrounded by countryside yet 15 mins to Pisa and the airport. We will definitely use the hotel again. Excellent evening meal in the hotel restaurant too!

There was a party the first day we stayed which we wasn't told about and it was very noisy and hard to sleep. The walls are also paper thin and everything echoes in the corridor.

Review 40：Spot is calm, although we expected to be completely isolated from the world and our window was 200 meters from the road (not noise, though). I would change the towels: they are a grey-brown color and you never know if they have changed them; better to stick to the usual white for towels.

Review 91：As per previous reviews, this is primarily a fantastic, popular restaurant with clean, comfortable rooms, and perfectly situated, in the countryside, to explore both Pisa and Lucca. The food is excellent with a very good wine list, and the chef's son, Nicola, is very happy to talk you through both in detail. The menu contains some very different and unusual Tuscan dishes (my partner said that the rare breed pork was the best she had eaten) and I would not only recommend, but intend to stay here the night before any time I leave Italy via Pisa airport (20 mins away).

Review 92：It was difficult to darken room because of the strong landscaping lights. The light bleeds through the edges of the curtains. Maybe the lights should be lower or shut off late at night.

Review 93：The room was spacious and comfortable and very cleverly designed into an old orangerie. There is a fabulous view and open feeling because the inn is surrounded by fields. I can imagine this place would be incredible for a wedding or other private party. Our host was extremely helpful in advising places for us to go in the area, even making phone calls to check open times for us. The food in the restaurant was superb, the best meal I have had in Tuscany in 2 months. Even if you don't stay in the inn, go and eat at this special place! Honestly I was sad to leave.

We ended our Tuscan trip at this hotel and our only regret is that we stayed for just one night! Still impressed with the warm welcome we received on our arrival, the breathtaking surroundings, spacious/comfortable room and excellent restaurant/breakfast. The hotel is situated in a beautiful setting, 5 minutes away from Pisa (by car). We are already looking forward for our next trip!
